I've been using Dave as my mechanic for well over 10 years now. I've never had an issues and he is always very understanding and easy to work with. I've recommended several people to him over the years and everyone has been satisfied with his service as well.

Hometown Auto is by far the best auto repair places in the area. We have taken all of our vehicles there for several years and have nothing but great things to say about Dave. Super nice guy, honest, professional along with top notch work. If you are in doubt, take your vehicle to someplace else for an estimate then go to Hometown Auto. Believe me, you will not get a better price from any place in the area. The simple fact that he always has a lot of vehicles in the bay or waiting for work while other places have empty garages say a lot about Dave's garage and reputation. Highly recommended for any and all work.

I just moved from NY and I take my cars to Dave, he is a great mechanic, He is knowledgeable and honest qualities that are hard to find.

Take your car to Dave, he knows what he's doing. Right next to the convenient mart and across from Dunkin in Dickson city. It's hard to miss, but dont. You wont regret it.

Best garage in the area, with the best rates. I've brought both family cars here. Honest, kind are reliable - can't beat that.

Its name says it all. Service is second to none . I get all my service work done there. Prices are very affordable.

I would no longer recommend Hometown Auto. It is partially closed? Plus the owner hurt himself and is half retired so timely manner and some skill has been lacking. I decided to use another mechanic from now on...

I called on a Friday to see if they inspect vehicles. I told them my vehicle was due for an inspection and the gentleman first asked me if I could come in Monday. I had to get my windshield replaced so I asked about Tuesday morning. The gentleman said that was fine and suggested the time of 9am. I told him it was a conversion van and he said it would be no problem.
I get there at 9am for an inspection, there is a gentleman in the office. I explained to the guy that I was there for an inspection and the guy said he didn't work there, that the guy who worked there just pulled his car into the garage to fix his tire.
So we sat in the van and waited. Next thing I know I'm getting funny looks from the mechanics who I guess work there so I get out and explain that I called on Friday and had an appointment to get my vehicle inspected.
He asked me if I was sure I called there and I said yes cause my sister had referred me to them. Then he said that he could not inspect my vehicle to begin with because he didn't have a lift.
Okay so why didn't the person I called on Friday mention that when I made the appointment?
So it seems to me they don't value the appointments they make with customers and they don't think to tell you they can't do an inspection if you have a large vehicle and they need to lift it.
It was a waste of my time and a waste of my gas going there.

My car was having trouble starting so drop it off asking if they could look at it. The guy was nice took my name and number. The next day i call to find out what going on with my car being no one has called to tell anything, left a message waited again . i stopped later that day because i still have not heard from them. To find a note saying he will return the 3rd .Another guy was nice and gave me my keys that were left in a unlock office that had the note on it.I took my car to someone else to be looked at and I had to pay for a rental car for a week because i don't know what wrong with my car andvthe first guy don't tell me a damn thing.

Maybe this is a bad time to review because my car is still sitting a week waiting on an estimate. I am a senior wirh screws holding some of me together and can not walk these mountains to get down there. I have left numerous messages and recieve no call backs. Unbelievable

I'd love to be able to rate the work of this place - but, they never called back. Their loss
