This intimate place feels cozy and inviting the second you step through the door. The music and smell of spices transport you into the heart of another culture. The food is savory and well prepared. The portions are generous. The service is impeccable. 5-Stars in all categories!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Lancaster. Such a gem. There isn’t one thing they serve that isn’t spectacular. Small place but if you get the chance. Definitely check out their buffet. The naan is incredible and the service is friendly. I love the mango iced tea as well.

This place is amazing and is a true corner of the East in Lancaster city center. Fantastic menu with the most delicious food from appetizers to deserts. Make sure you mop up all of your curry with the complimentary garlic naan bread!

Visiting Lancaster and wanted to escape the smorgasbord, hot pretzels and sticky buns. We took advantage of the Monday night all you can eat. Hot and fresh.
This is not steamtable food, this is fresh prepared as if it was plated just for you. The selections are wide, and vary from protein to all vegetable.
The vegetable pakora, Aloo Gobi, Tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, were all extraordinary.

Food was excellent. Service good. Pretty jammed in a small restaurant. Barely able to pull out chair due to table behind us. It was a restaurant week on a Friday night, though. I am anxious to go back at an off time.
Friends we met are vegan, and they chose this place, so yes, very good vegan. Tight on reservation time. BYOB is nice.

We totally understand why they have so many awards on the wall, the food here is fantastic! Some of the best curries we have ever tasted.

We were here for the very first time yesterday and it was spectacular!!! Every single thing we had was so good, non-greasy, wonderful flavors, and the service was excellent! I adored the spinach and mushroom soup and the Momo chicken. We live almost 3 hours away but we will be back. ✨ If you are visiting the Lancaster area, this is a place you cannot miss ❤. Btw, don't let my username trick you. I'm no longer plant based 😂. I truly enjoyed my Momo chicken and my coconut shrimp.

This place is so good! We had been hoping to go for a while, and finally had the chance today. The staff was friendly. We got the lunch buffet - so delicious. Can’t easily beat all-you-can-eat naan and tikka masala! And the mango lassi was amazing!

I'm so glad I decided to go to Himalayan Curry and Grill at the last minute last evening. One of my friends had made RESERVATIONS weeks prior, which is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I capitalized that for a reason. Unfortunately her husband was recovering from the flu (she ordered his favorite for takeout :) instead), so she invited two friends. I was waiting outside for them to arrive and the minute someone opened the door to the restaurant, I was hit with amazing smells. The inside is small and gets crowded, which I don't like. However, we had the best table, IMO, which was against the front window. I sat facing the window, so I tricked my mind. The menu is extensive but I chose to order the Chicken Samosas, Asparagus and Chicken soup and the fresh Naan bread. Everything tasted heavenly! Next time I will order one of the entrees, which looks like 2 servings for me. Our server was observant and accommodating, he alone gets 5 stars. They offer takeout and I work a few blocks away, so I will be a repeat customer.

Delicious, different items, very well prepared and presented. This place is tiny and always packed every time we’ve been. You will be sitting very close to your neighbors. The sauces on the table with the thin wafer crackers before you order are really interesting. Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. Have tried several different things, not been disappointed yet. Very nice people, they seem to sincerely want you to be pleased.

Delicious! Had both Nepalese and Indian dishes on the menu. Good selection of meat, chicken and vegetarian choices. Friendly service and nice/ cozy atmosphere. They don’t sell alcohol but you can bring your own wine or beer and they provide glasses for you.

It's true, it can be hard to get a seat here, but don't dock any stars because of that. The reason this place is always slammed is because they serve some of the very best Himalayan style food served anywhere. I've been going here for years and can easily say it's one of my favorite restaurants of all time.

This was more of a higher class restaurant with very authentic Nepalese/Indian food. Love how they ask how spicy you want your food and also serve as much rice as you want. Definitely a restaurant everyone should try if you're in Lancaster City.

A top spot if you’re looking for quality Nepalese or Indian food in downtown Lancaster. The place is super tiny but worth it. I went during lunch where they feature a buffet. Even if you’re a vegetarian, there a ton of really good options.

They have lunch boxes to go where you select your curry and comes with rice and naan bread. The food quality is great and super affordable.

I heard positive things on their dinner menu as well. They are closed on Mondays and 1:30 to 5 every day.

Lovely place, good service, and very good food. We are always on the hunt for a good Himalayan place and this is definitely now on our (very short). The other one we like is in Plattsburgh NY, haha

This is an amazing place for authentic Indian home cooking! Good pricing for the portions and great food. The atmosphere is also something to take note of as they utilize their small space very effectively to create a casual yet classy space that’s great for dates or meetings.

Great cozy vibe, outstanding attentions paired with delicious food. Very accommodating and pleasant to be at with my family, made us feel very welcome.
Ah! This is a Vegan heaven with plenty of options to indulge your taste on a trip to Nepal.

Been coming here for almost 10 years and never once been let down. The food is absolutely amazing. The lunch buffet is the best ever. I wish the spicy chicken balls were on the regular menu.

Not only is the food delicious, everyone is incredibly friendly and the environment is beautiful.
