Empanada Gourmet

Delightful cafe which sells mainly empanadas. They are a bit small so you will likely want more than one. They have a wide selection of flavors, make them in-house, and serve with a dipping sauce. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Absolutely Ridiculous Flavor combos!!! First time and Score!! What a fabulous selection and beautiful restaurant. I love the options and they even have a spicy dipping sauce to please the spicy lover in me🥳

We tried a variety of Uruguayan, Ham and cheese and their Kale. Hubby raved about the green sauce and even tried the spicier red. The Empanadas are Stuffed to the corners and definitely worth the price!!!

The warm welcome you get when you enter The Empanada Gourmet makes you feel at home . The atmosphere is amazing and the food... The food!!! The empanada is light, flaky & butter. They have many flavors for you to choose from! You will not be disappointed with this new place in Lancaster city!!

The empanadas were absolutely incredible, but the best part of the experience was the people! We had such a lovely time eating outside in the beautiful back patio. We tried the chicken, ham & cheese, beef, and beef & cheese and every single one was delicious. The chimichurri sauce was also exceptionally delicious!! We will definitely be back!!

Nicest people I have ever met and best empanada I have ever had. You can’t leave without trying their Dulce de leche cookies they are to die for. One of the best things I have ever eaten!!!!

Just ate 4 empanadas and I feel like I should eat a whole lot more 😅 definitely coming back to try the other ones, I had beef and cheese/ argentina steak, totally recommend those to the beer drinkers 🍺. Met the owner, she was really nice and friendly, and she cooks all of that herself 😉

Such a great place. Clean and staff is very nice. Some tables inside and a patio outside that is too cute. Lots of options including vegan choices and they are all baked and made fresh. I had the Uruguayan with beef cheese and olives and the 3 cheese was so good. The dulce de Leche for dessert was perfectly sweet.

Needed a quick lunch before a matinee at the Fulton Theater and Empanada Gourmet was perfect!! The empanadas were quick, hot and absolutely delicious. The woman helping me was so kind and made it a great experience! Would definitely return next time I’m in the area.

Great little empanada place. Clean space and friendly staff. The chicken empanada was my favorite, very flavorful. And don't forget to pair it with the excellent chimichurri sauce that really brought it up a notch without being overly spicy!

Best empanadas ! truly made from scratch, including the dough. Super cute atmosphere and friendly. If in Lancaster , this place is a must !!!! So good!

We stopped here after seeing a play at the Fulton and we really loved the food. They have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian empanadas. The sauces are great as well. Reasonably priced and the service was excellent. We got ours to go and they were very easy to reheat. Highly recommended!

I went here on a whim with my daughter and I must say we enjoy it. The atmosphere is inviting. The empanadas are delicious.

This empanadas are soo good. The owners where there and so nice and helpful since I brought a girlfriend to try her first empanada ever! It was amazing and the variety is just ridiculous!

I highly recommend Empanada Gourmet! We visited the Prince St. Location- the girl behind the counter was so friendly, excellent customer service. We picked four empanadas to share- the beef and cheese was our favorite. The sauces on the side are so good too!! Not a bad thing to say here. Thank you!!

Great Uruguayan empanadas. They are baked, not fried, and they have an excellent selection. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful.

Just stopped in here to grab some lunch and try it out- I've never had empanadas before but this seemed like the perfect time to try them.
The employee there was very helpful and informative in helping me pick out some to try based off some of my weird food intolerances and recommended how many to get for a filling lunch.
The empanadas were delicious and flavorful- I was very impressed and happy with all 3 that I got (Beef, ham & cheese, three cheese) and the chimichurri sauce was out of this world good. Definitely looking to stop by here again while I'm in town.

I stock up on these empanadas during my kids’ sports seasons. They freeze and reheat very well. The owner and her pastry chef son are passionate about their business and I’m so glad they are in Lancaster.

We are blessed to have this Uruguayan family investing so heavily in Lancaster. These empanadas are on another level and worth every penny. You cannot and willnot be able to replicate these at home. If you know emapandas, you know these emapandas have DECADES of precision tweaking to ensure the best dough and flavor. And the diversity of fillings are unmatched in Lancaster and probably anywhere in Central PA! Take advantage of these well priced delicacies. In a short span of two years they have opened 3 locations. That tells you everything you need to know! Delicious, homecooked and healtier baked empanadas for very affordable price. As a first time visitor to the Lancaster Central Market we checked out the Empanada Gourmet on Labor Day. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and explained everything. The beef and beef/cheese empanadas were delicious. We can't wait to visit again.
