Consistently good coffee. Good variety of drip coffee and espresso based drinks, and a good selection of teas. There is a small offering of food and pastries. Including a couple of vegan options.

Staff is very friendly and there is plenty of seating. It is a nice environment to sit down and work but the tables are not large so no space to spread out.
I love coming here every time I’m in the area!

another great spot for coffee at Lancaster. There is only street parking though which could be a challenge during busy days but otherwise a good cafe to visit.

The lattes were delicious, not too light and not too bitter - art is a bonus! Cant say much about the other items on the menu since we were only here for the lattes during our visit.

as for ambiance, i appreciate that the place is nicely lit with natural lighting. Tables and chair are cute too - the chairs, especially, caught my attention as the shape reminded me of a guitar pick which I found adorable. But like i said, the cafe could get busy and so it may not be the best spot to linger but enough to enjoy being caffeinated.

Love this coffee shop!!! High quality coffee, cute cafe treats, friendly service, and amazing ambiance inside. Either grab your coffee to go or stay and hang around at one of their many seating options! They have a back patio in the warmer months. Highly recommend!

We recently visited SQ1 on a trip to Lancaster and couldn’t recommend this coffee shop enough! We had their whipped matcha, a seasonal item therefore it may not be available when you visit, and it was delightful. Service was swift and friendly and the interior was clean and welcoming. We look forward to coming back!

My first time visiting this coffee shop. So far, the best I've found in Lancaster. The blueberry scone was excellent, too! I'll be back.

Great coffee! I got a London fog and a latte and really enjoyed them both. I saw photos of the homemade pop tarts online, but they didn't have those the day I went. That was a little disappointing, but the drinks were great!

Very cozy spot. The baristas working we're really nice and having a good time simply doing their jobs. Luca was especially helpful in accommodating a special request, thanks again! :)

I ordered two pour-over coffees today, and they were both some of the best coffee I've had in a very long time. The beans used were amazing, and the barista who made my order was incredibly talented. The space and ambience are also really nice; the store is much more spacious than most other cafés in Lancaster, making it a more comfortable place to relax in.

As an added bonus, you can buy some of Square One's single-origin coffee beans for home brewing while here. Square One is an excellent café, but first and foremost they're quite possibly the best coffee roaster in the area.

I love Square One! Always a great place to disappear for a while and relax or get work done. The staff are always super friendly and great at what they do. They always have some really unique drinks to try too. Fantastic Lancaster gem!

Excellent atmosphere & tasties!

Went here a lil over a week ago on a cold blustery sunday and got chai. It was very tasty and warmed me up. Loved the atmosphere.

Love this coffee shop! The staff was super nice and they were able to support me and give a really accurate description of the coffee they are selling.

This coffee house has a happy vibe to it! Is it because of its off-center location, its relaxed seating areas or its smiling staff?! Maybe because of them all. The coffee is good and that makes the whole experience one that is easy and enjoyable.

Top 3 coffee shops I’ve been to! The vibe is great and every barista is a joy to interact with. I’d recommend a pour over if they aren’t too slammed and a cappuccino if they are! I wish I lived in the area so I could come more :) also check out the outside seating, very quaint

If you want a top notch cup of coffee or latte, this is your place. The quality and flavor is pretty unmatched.

Great coffee shop for an expresso drink! Drinks were well made and it was a great atmosphere. Staff were also very friendly. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area and looking for some coffee or expresso drinks.
