Steel City Beards & Shears

I had a great experience today with my 3 yr old son. I took him in and we sat for a bit waiting for his cut. Maybe 25 minutes? No problem! When it was our turn it was the owner who cut his hair. She was so great with my son - he’s a bit shy but he was talking with her a bit and she put him at ease. The best part was she pretending to cut his stuffed Mickey Mouse's hair and he thought that was great. That’s the extra stuff you want to see, in my opinion, that keeps you going back somewhere. My son also looked great when he was done.
The place is very clean and cute. We will definitely be going back.

I have been going to this shop for years, and it’s always been an amazing experience. The haircuts are always great, and the staff create an incredibly warm atmosphere. It’s been a pleasure to watch this shop grow and thrive over the years. Kris, the owner has always made the customer experience number one and it always shows. I currently live overseas, and when I know I am coming back stateside I gladly put off a haircut to come into the shop when I arrive. To everyone at Steel city, thank you for consistently being the best barber shop I’ve ever gone to!

We stopped in for a haircut and Gaby took us right away. She did a fantastic job, took her time, and was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Staff is always pleasant if you have a beard they know how to actually trim it and they listen to what you want they also offer straight razor service Hailey is my go to she does a good fade and helped me get the look I was after

Nice place to get a haircut or a beard trim. Came in last minute as a walk-in last minute for a quick trim before the end of my trip. Awesome systlists that are very soicialble. Great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone in the area

Took a risk while out of town on this shop. The owner, Kris (sp?) was who quickly greeted me and got me in the chair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and was slightly concerned how with only once quick look she got to work. Within 15 minutes I was out the door for $25 plus tip with the exact haircut I wanted. I was impressed with the efficiency, cleanliness of the shop. I am generally picky about haircuts and this is one of the better cuts I’ve received anywhere.

I had a hard time finding a place who didn't screw up my hair. Decided on trying Steel city beards and Shears bc of the great reviews and so glad I did. I've been going for over a year now and the ladies are excellent at what they do. I find the prices fair and don't mind spending more since they know what they are doing. I've been to specialty salons who have screwed up my color and have had my hair run. I have yet to run into that problem here and probably will not since Kristin and the ladies know what they are doing.

Extremely reasonable pricing, and all three women who work there are great! There is always a wait because it's walk-in but they move through people like a conveyor belt. I've never had a bad haircut.

Our fav place for men's haircut & beard trim. We love that they are open on Sundays. With a busy family schedule being able to get in on a Sunday has been a huge convenience for us. Kris & her staff are always friendly & provide great services. Thanks!

This was a hidden gem for me. Amazing staff of barbers, shiny, modern barber shop. Why go anywhere else?

Excellent hair stylist and excellent customer service. I always have Kris the owner cut my hair. She is truly amazing! I am a cancer patient and have lost my hair in the past and Kris has helped me with different styles and cuts since my hair started growing back. Not only is she a wonderful and beautiful person on the inside and out, she's also an amazing stylist. I strongly recommend Steel City Beards and Shears to anyone looking for a great haircut with great customer service.

Fantastic barbershop. It took me forever to find a barbershop that I could trust and this one came highly recommended.

They seem to do just about everything here. I've seen people get touch up dye jobs, children's haircuts, adult haircuts and facial hair trims.

They do an excellent job with my very large beard and I would recommend Steel City Beards and Shears to anyone and everyone. Check them out! You won't be disappointed!
