Took my laptop in to see if it could be fixed. It was fixed right there on the spot! Just happened to have part in, and I was in and out in no time with my now working laptop! Owner was so knowledgeable. I was so pleased, I went back in a few days to purchase a newer laptop that caught my eye while getting mine serviced. Cost of repair was very reasonable, and was so convenient. New laptop purchase was just as good of an experience! Great price, great transaction, and very pleasant experience. Will definitely be returning for all my computer needs! Highly recommend!

Not to be confused with Fix My Computer Please (these guys are SO much better). These people are my new best computer geek friends. Dave took the time to explain what he was doing for me and why he was doing it, while handling other customers with the same courtesy. Even after taking a financial hit from a customer that took advantage of him, Dave still gave me great service at a wonderful price. I went from “inaccessible boot drive” to up and running with a 12x faster chip for under $400 in two hours. Next time your computer’s on the fritz, go directly to Fix My Computer, 11 South Main Street just off the square in Manheim. You’ll be glad you did.

Dave is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and efficient. His services are very fairly priced. Dave explains how to address problems clearly and succinctly, and is inordinately patient with those of us who have been helped by corporate IT teams, so have limited experience. He repaired two laptops and cleaned and accelerated two additional laptops for a very good price. He can talk us through problems on the phone - got the wifi printer working with one quick tip. He has the expertise and contacts to make all this possible. He also saved us a lot of money when an old cell memory was "fried", by telling us at the outset to purchase a new phone. I wouldn't go anywhere else for any IT need - we trust Dave implicitly. If you haven't been to his shop - GO THERE FIRST before any other option. Mary Milligan

Dave is great! He builds all of our business computers when needed. He comes out and sets everything up for us as well. I appreciate that he takes the time to answer all of my technology questions, and Dave has also helped many times with technology issues that were not computer related and even spoke to customer service reps with various companies to help figure out the issue. Dave is also quick to respond if I need my computer repaired. Highly recommend!

Great very knowledgeable with computers. He was able to get my computer to turn back on and showed me how to turn it back on and explained why I was having trouble turning the computer on. He was also knowledgeable for if I needed to buy a new computer that would my needs. I would defiantly use there service and recommend them.

This store is pretty awesome. They are actually able to fix ps5s even! The store owner is really nice, but also very direct. He won't sugarcoat what's wrong with your pc. He also sells pc parts. Check em out if ur into pcs

My laptop speed slowed to the point I couldn’t do my job. Fix My Computer was recommended on my community’s Facebook page. Within 2 hours I learned how a computer works while it was repaired and left with my laptop working like new.

I received a strange message on my computer indicating I was locked out of everything. I spent 4 hours on the phone being passed from tech to tech, internet provider, Chromebook, google techs, etc., etc. They all agreed that I could only do one thing to fix the problem: Reset my computer to factory settings and lose everything else. I was beyond terrified of losing all my contacts, all my photos, everything!!! I then went to this shop and David suggested he might be able to fix the problem by going thru my smart phone google account. He did this in a matter of minutes!! If you are within driving distance and don't contact David with your computer issues, you are making a big mistake!! He is a genius!!!

I work at a church on the same street as this shop. Suddenly my laptop shut down and wouldn't restart no matter what I did. I brought it in and had great customer service. Everything works perfectly now and the owner really took his time in explaining things to me. On the day that I picked up my laptop it was raining and I had no laptop bag. The owner was thoughtful enough to wrap my computer in a plastic bag so it wouldn't get wet. I had a perfect experience here and I will be back.

One day my radio in my truck started acting up and after taking it apart I realized that the processor was loose. I went to use my soldering gun to reattach the broken contacts, only to find out my soldering gun bit the dust. I remembered there was a computer store down the road and decided to drop in and see if they might do it for me. I walked in met Dave the owner and asked him and he agreed to give it a shot. 2 hours later he had it soldered and my radio was alive for $20! I will come back to this shop again. Great guy great service!

I have had nothing but good experience with this place and the owner. He has been honest and up front and made good on his word when I have brought equipment in for repair or when I bought a nice portable Dell PC from him two months ago. He tested my wife's laptop on the spot and found the source of the problem within minutes. I also brought him my Canon Pixma computer, which had fallen off my desk (I tripped over the cord) and wasn't working anymore. He said "It will cost you $20 to take a look at it and I can't promise you it can be fixed. You'll have to decide if it's worth $20 to find out." That's fair. I got it as a refurb back in December of 2007 anyway and got MORE than my money's worth out of it. I paid $20, called him a couple of days later and he said "Yeah, it's dead." He then explained WHY it was dead and I was satisfied. This guy knows his stuff and is confident and direct when he tells you both the good news AND the bad news. Yesterday I upgraded the RAM on my wife's laptop and, yeah, I could have just gone online and saved a couple of bucks, but I'd rather keep the money local. His prices are more than fair. Like I said, he's sure and direct when he answers questions and gives you info. Some people can't handle direct. Personally, I love it. This guy is NO B.S. and is my go-to for sure.

My laptop wasn't booting up. Dropped it off in the morning and was able to pick it up that afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised it was only $60. Much better, and faster than Best Buy for sure. Would go again.

I’ve brought my computer here twice, once for a hard drive and once for a battery/ charge port replacement. I could tell when I walk in that this was a place for people of all levels. Lots of gaming equipment. They have great hours, and they are very transparent about options. It would’ve costed more to get an OEM hard drive replacement, but I was given the option to get a less expensive solid state hard drive if I was willing to give up capacity (I never needed 1 TB I have an external hard drive) it was cheaper that way, and he told me a solid state hard drive (SSD) has no moving parts and was less likely to fail. I came back for a charge port and battery replacement after computer savvy friends failed. My computer runs like an Olympic athlete and it’s 8 years old thanks to these guys!

They built a new computer for me, and added all of my files from my old one. Local business for me. Pleased with work that they did, ease of location, and reasonable pricing. Not sure why some customers find the owner to be rude. They always gave me a fair shake! All-in-all, I would recommend their services!

We tested a 7 year old computer.
Motherboard died. And the owner walked me through opinion and restoring my pc.

I had an old toshiba laptop and I was looking to trade up to a newer computer for some video editing capabilities. My friend told me about this place and said they had a Macbook Air for a couple hundred dollars. I decided to see if they would take my old computer for some money. Walked in and met Dave and Even. I asked Dave what he would give me for the computer and it seemed fair to me. I walked out happy with the MacBook Air. Awesome place, great service, and a good trade up! Thanks guys!

Dave was helpful, knowledgeable, and prompt. Expect down-to-earth service. Very reasonable prices. Prefer honest, local service to Bestbuy's Geek Squad.

Dave is an absolute master with computers and technology of the like. If you've got a problem he can fix it. They won't beat around the bush, straightforward, and honest. Wouldn't take my computer's anywhere else.

He’s always respectful via call or in person and knows a lot. He was very kind and purchased a graphics card off me and gave me a very fair price.
