Refreshing Mountain Retreat and Adventure Center

Great place!! We did the Adventure 1 ropes course & ziplining Christmas light special and it was so exciting! It was beautiful there in the dark and with all the Christmas lights, and the ropes course was thrilling. A bit scary at times but everything is very do-able and for all ages. And then they have a neat observation deck and a Christmas lights pathway. Great place for everyone and lots of fun!

What a fantastic evening we had at Refreshing Mountain! Went with friends (6 of us) and did one of the Escape Rooms. Theses rooms are well done and a lot of fun. I highly recommend this, especially if you’ve never done one before. We timed it out well as it was dark when we “escaped” and then we walked the grounds through the wonderful light displays that have been so well placed. What a beautiful setting!

What a FUN experience this was!! We went to Refreshing Mountain for their Christmas light adventures- zip lining, suspended ropes obstacle courses, walk through the lights, and boy did it deliver on the fun!! Such a unique experience, every single staff member we encountered was so kind, helpful, and encouraging (which helped with the zip lining and ropes course haha) the entire camp is clean, well kept, and filled with so many fun things. This definitely will be a place I return to and recommend everyone to check out! Thank you!

I highly recommend the Christmas light zip-lining. I had it scheduled for a Friday but it got rained out so we had to reschedule. Not only did they text and email me but a lady had call me to notify me and help me reschedule. On my way they were kind enough to call me as a reminder of my reservation. Once I arrived, the lady in the office gave us a detailed but brief run down of where to go and what to expect. The staff who had been zip lining with us was amazing. Easy to chat with and very understanding individuals. I will continue to come back and bring some family next time !

I can’t give this facility and it’s staff enough stars. Everyone was incredibly friendly from the second we arrived. The facility is beautiful, clean and well kept. My husband and I did the aerial zip line tour with 7 lines. Ethan and Morgan were our guides and we could not have asked for better people to go on that adventure with. Ethan has the best sense of humor and is so knowledgeable and Morgan was so kind and supportive. We loved chatting and getting to know them. The best part was learning how to go upside down on the zip line! It’s a memory I will never forget. While this was an adult trip, my husband and I have been saying since the second we left that we cannot wait to go back and bring our 14 and 5 year old boys!

This was my first time here. I recently came for a weekend retreat and it was wonderful! I had no complaints. The cabins were nice and clean. The activities provided such as but are not limited to zip lining, rock climbing, escape room, etc. You can see farm animals, a pool, and a gym, and the food was great! I would come back again to enjoy the full experience! And of course, the staff was friendly. Awesome place!

What a wonderful campus!!! You can truly feel the joy and spirit moving through this place. Everyone is very cheerful and happy to help!
When it comes to the adventures, they are incredibly fun! I would highly suggest you take the trip to check them out!

Awesome! My 10yr old sons and I visited during the Christmas season for their Christmas light walk through. We were surprised by what we found. This is a Christain/ family oriented retreat with a ton of amenities. Things like room rentals, basketball court, playground, zip lines, rope bridges, and much more. We definitely want to return and stay a weekend! We had a blast!

We loved our walk through the woods with all the lights. It was truly beautiful! It was a first time for us but I believe it will be a new family tradition. Thank you for the memories!

We had a great time! Very first time coming here very well organized easy check in! Easy walk gorgeous lights! Def worth the commute and admission! They always have deals parents especially on Groupon!!!!

This 69 year old grandmother enjoyed the zip lines with my two sons, my daughter-in-law, and my two grandsons ages 10 and seven. The lights are a feast for the eyes, and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We loved the obstacle course, with the adults being challenged by levels one through three and the grandsons completing all four levels! Great family time!

What a great place! First time zip lining for my daughter and I and this place was really safe, professional and friendly. Ethan and Morgan were awesome as zip line/obstacle guides and Patrick was super informative in the wildlife center. I even got to “support” a snake! Everything was nice and clean and all my interactions with staff were pleasant and courteous. Would definitely recommend for a Sunday activity spot. Thanks for the great time!

Refreshing mountain zip line and ropes course was the perfect fun evening for my crew! We had 7 kids with us ranging from 8-22 and we all had a great time! The Christmas lights are beautiful. The whole experience was top notch!

A great activity for adults and children alike! Wonderful lights, yummy cafe, stroller accessible, amazing reptile center. We had a great time with our two year old granddaughter. ( we could even watch others zipping through the trees above ) I would highly recommend!

Such a great night time experience with the family! The crew that helped us was experienced, gracious, and kind! We ziplined through the lighted trees and walk through the lit three story obstacle course!

I took my two grandsons, age 5 and 8, and it was a fabulous day. Zip line and obstacle course were perfect. Challenging but safe. Reptile house plus other play areas were delightful.The staff was over the top. Everything clean organized, and the café food is delicious and reasonably priced.

This place is awesome! The people are awesome! The activities are awesome. The food is awesome, and there's so much to do! The Ziplines, High Ropes Obstacle Course, Climbing Wall, Giant Swing, Indoor and Outdoor Escape Rooms, Pool, Sling Shot, Archery, Pedal Carts, Climbing Tower, Snack Shop, Dining Hall, Cabins, and so much more! I highly recommend this place for a great time and experience you won't forget.

We loved it!! We stayed in one of the cabins and it was so beautiful. To unplug and spend quality time together was a much needed break. The staff was wonderful as well as all the great activities. There were tears leaving because the kids wanted to stay longer. You have life long customers and we are eagerly awaiting our next visit.

We’ve been here twice with our grandsons and have been so impressed with all the staff. They went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. I accidentally signed up for a zip line adventure that we couldn’t participate in and they refunded the extra I had paid and got us into the appropriate program. Our boys loved the obstacles and the zip lines. There are places to explore and a great playground. After we exhausted the events we paid for the boys enjoyed basketball, tether ball and the grounds.I highly recommend Refreshing Mountain!

It was an awesome experience. The staff were very helpful, kept it fun and encouraged each of our girls through each activity for our group of 16 for the one day morning session. Ages 10 to 16.

It was really an amazing experience to capture each girl pushing pass their comfort zone.
They each faced challenges that they had to conquer in one way or another. They were proud of their accomplishments.

Once we got the idea of where every station/activities were located, it was a smooth transition from one station to the next. We got to enjoy two ziplines, the obstacle course, rock climbing, pedal carts, sling shots, wild life center and the beautiful farm animals. We got to feed the animals (except the horses and ponies). Our girls enjoyed the playground as well and the snack bar had some yummy treats to choose from.

It was an experience our group of girls from our girl's ministry program will remember for a lifetime.
