Crab & Claw Seafood

First time trying their food by winning their 1/2 large bushel giveaway. Ordered extra dishes on top of the free 1/2 bushel.

Crabs: I asked them to steam it for me and was nervous about how it will taste. I like my crabs a certain way and to my surprise they didn’t disappoint! The flavors popped. Even my picky 2 year old loved it so you know it’s good. Each crab had a decent amount of meat for the size.

Veggie platter: the broccoli, potato, and corn was tender and came smothered in the butter garlic sauce. It was an awesome compliment to the crabs. I wish I got another order of it.

Butter garlic sauce: it was hard dipping the crab meat into the sauce due to the size of the meat, but the flavor was awesome. I’m excited to repurpose it for my future meals. Highly recommend if you need an extra pop of savory flavors.

Cajun & regular seafood salad: I had a sample of their Cajun seafood salad at the store and wasn’t really sold. Andrew told me it would be a good idea to get 1/2 of the regular and Cajun so I took his advice. Tried it again when I got home and the Cajun won me over as I kept trying it. Their regular one is good, but the Cajun had a nice punch to it. My husband loved it, too. I regret not getting a bigger size.

Aside from food, the staff were so pleasant. When I walked in, someone immediately helped me. I had to wait a bit for my order and during that time, one employee came to check in on me, which I appreciated. Andrew even came out to check on me as well. Before I left, I decided to get their seafood salad and that’s when Andrew and another employee assisted me with my choice. The politeness and kindness from everyone made the establishment seem like such a family vibe. I’m excited to go back and try other items from their menu.

Bonus: we used the leftover crab shells and legs to make some crab ramen!

I've ordered from this establishment multiple times and the quality of food is outstanding. It's fresh and delicious. The service was great as well. They treated me with respect and fulfilled my order correctly. I would totally recommended crab & claw to anyone!

My family ordered dinner from here after hearing some great reviews from our friends and family, and wow-- the food was incredible!!! We ordered steamed and fried platters, which included an assortment of clams, mussels, shrimp, flounder, crab cake, fries, potatoes, corn, coleslaw, tartar sauce, and their famous butter garlic sauce (which they kindly accommodated per our request). If that sounds like a generous amount of food, that's exactly right-- and for such a great price! The seafood was high quality (we couldn't believe how large the mussels, shrimp, and clams were), perfectly cooked, and perfectly seasoned- just the right amount of Old Bay seasoning and definitely not too salty. We ordered for take-out, and our order was available right on time and the service was so friendly. We are all happily full and so happy with the experience. We'll definitely be back- highly recommend Crab and Claw for high quality seafood done right!

Aside from the fact that Crab & Claw smells so fishy (I KNOWWW…it’s a fish market), I really have enjoyed everything I’ve ever eaten from here. From raw fish and other seafood that I prepare at home, to Dungeness crab, broccoli, corn and potatoes platters, to fried flounder and shrimp….(I’m getting hungry)….its all fresh and I have no complaints.

If this isn’t your go to spot for seafood, you’re missing out. It’s always the freshest and highest quality seafood in the Philly area. The crab legs are always so sweet and packed with meat. And the butter garlic sauce speaks for itself. My fiancé makes the best pasta with the leftovers the next day so make sure you leave some sauce!

The customer service here is superb. The gentleman that wears the glasses was really great. I believe they said his name is Zeke. He definitely was right about me coming back for another fish hoagie.

I had a jumbo king crab leg, catfish nuggets, french fries, and onion rings and it was quite possibly the best meal I've ever had.

Crab and Claw is the seafood spot in the West Oak Lane area of Philadelphia. They have all kinds of seafood for you to choose from. The crabs can come fresh or steamed. They even have fresh seafood options, I have been getting my flounder from here for a while. The flounder that is frozen in the stores is small and filled with bones so I rather go the fresh route and get the fish whenever I'm ready to make it. You can find the seafood spices that you need to make everything complete as well.

The shrimp and clam were some of the freshest I’ve ever had. They were the stars of the show at a dinner party we hosted. Will come back for the finest quality in seafood and hospitality we’ve ever experienced.

Only place I go to buy crabs. The platters here are soo good & that butter garlic crack sauce is reason on its own to keep coming back 🤣 - you also need to try their top neck clams because I can have 3 dozen to myself it's that good.

So far so good! I had their blues crabs before and they were great this visit i tried the fried shrimp and crab stick with a small seafood salad and it tasted as good as i hoped it would taste and i will be a returning customer for life as long as the food continues to taste great i give them 10 stars!!!

Went to Crab & Claw to pick up mussels, shrimp, and crabs today and everything was super fresh! The muscles were my favorite. There was no fishiness to them and the texture was amazing. Definitely going back to Crab & Claw! The staff were all super friendly and helpful.

Best seafood place in Philly. I always come here for my seafood especially to get Maryland blue crabs.
