Lew's Seafood Takeout & Dockside Pub

Was in the area and craving an old style seafood dinner that was common in many local towns years ago. Went with the baked combo (flounder, scallops, shrimp), an order of clams casino, and fried calamari. Everything was what I was hoping for, even after a 30min ride home before eating. Clams had sautéed peppers/onions, with a real bacon strip on top of a fresh whole clam. Combo was fresh and baked perfectly. I can’t fault anyone but myself for the softened breading on the calamari, but it was still properly cooked and delicious. Plenty of lemon slices and marinara. I did add butter and cocktail sauce ramekins once home. To finish it off I collected all the juices in a ramekin with some lemon for a nice bread dipping sauce to finish my meal. 🤤 Pricing was fair, especially for the service, quality and cleanliness of this take out counter. Call ahead to order. Had to wait 20mins, but I feel that means it’s fresh, not precooked. Wish we lived closer.

We decided to try this place out and we were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was!
Mom and Dad had the crab cake sandwiches and kids got the cheese steak and chicken fingers. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Not to mention, decently priced.

We will definitely be returning. We found a new favorite spot!

I've been going to Lew's Seafood for over 5 years and they never disappoint. The food is always good and the service is fast. The scallops are cooked to perfection.

This place is under a new name. It is now called 152 Public House. Staff & owner were extremely friendly. Even though, I don't eat out often or eat seafood often, I will be returnng here for more dining.

The wife and I really enjoyed Lew's seafood. Often time fish and chips to go is not the best option but the fish remained crispy and was delicious. The scallop scampi was also a great dish!

The Crab was fresh and they give you a pretty large amount for the money. The fish and chips were delicious and also a great portion for under $10. The Bang Bang shrimp, despite being slightly soggy (from transport in an insulated bag, no fault of the chefs) were still flavorful and juicy. Pictured is the lobster tail, which was massive and tastefully seasoned. I will be visiting Lew's again, probably sooner than I should.

We love seafood having lived in coastal areas most of our lives. It is so great to have in our area Lew’s whether we are looking to feed a number of people or just our family after returning from a beach vacation and still having a hankering for the sea. Easy to order over the phone and pickup.

Best Seafood in the area! Under new ownership. So far so good! Met the owner, very nice guy. Food was awesome as it always was. Just starting out with the Restaurant and bar area, looking for more help, so be patient with the staff. They're doing their best. Restaurant is a little noisy due to the bar area. In the end, it's all worth it. Thanks Dan and good luck there!!

Great selection, fresh and well prepared. Friendly service, enjoyed picking and choosing. The young lady who attended us was friendly and professional, knew what she was doing.

I got the lunch special: flounder sandwich with fries. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly! So good and really inexpensive. Such a treat. Definitely going back for more. They're really nice and the variety of fish was good; also they have homemade desserts. Trying one next time,

Unreal. These shrimp. Bad taste. Y’all should ask how they cooked the shrimp over at the VFW on Jenkintown road during Lent. I wouldn’t feed these shrimps to my dog.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING HERE! FOOD IS ALWAYS HOT AND DELICIOUS. I moved to the area in July and my husband told me about Lew's. I have been so happy since, I want to say we go almost every week. We tend to get the large fried shrimp, fish and chips and at time the different kinds of fish. Last time I went, I ordered their New England Clam Chowder, can I say amazing. The consistency was on the thicker side, but the taste was phenomenal. We are huuge foodies and we will continue to go to Lew's. Thank you for your restaurant and service. Service is a big deal to us, not matter how tasty the food is, if service is awful we will walk away. Lew's will answer your call 10 mins before closing (I don't typically do this) sweeter than the minute they open and will take your order. They are quick to also let you know your order is ready by calling you in return. Amazing all away around!

I ordered the flounder sandwich platter with onion rings. Plus they allowed me to order 3 fried shrimp an 2 onion rings for my elder (you know how finicky our seniors can be). So you place your order via phone and wait for them to call you when its ready. Then you can enter the store and purchase other items like dessert and alcoholic beverages. I choose the cheesecake which was good as well. Everything was delicious will definitely go back. Plus there was no long wait time about 20 minutes for me. Go check them out plus they were very friendly, service with a smile.

Excellent seafood at reasonable prices. The food was fresh and delicious. The employees were very polite and they have great Covid-19 procedures in place for pick-up. When things go back to normal, they also have a great little chill bar with that’s perfect for beers and apps while watching a game!

Great Crabcakes. Not alot if seafood great options on the area but Lees is very good. Also got the shrimp and flounder in the past. If in the North Hills area and looking for some good seafood takeout go try lews seafood

This was my first time eating at Lew’s. This neighborhood is not well known for their food spots. when I say I will now become a consistent customer to lews please believe me!
Idk where to start. First I got a fried trio platter (flounder, deviled crab cake & shrimp) and a side of fries. I couldn’t even finish my platter in one setting which is actually a good thing cause I stuffed my face but also have enough for leftovers. I’m usually not a flounder kind of girl but that might change! Everything was battered to perfection, nice brown and crispy. Extremely well seasoned! Shrimp were nice and big! And guess how much this amazing platter was guys? Less than $20!!!! If that’s not amazing then idk what is.

Awesome place for seafood! My favorite restaurant when I have a hankering for seafood! The place has been open for over 50 years a great testimony to the tastiness of their menu! I discovered this restaurant in ‘98 when I moved to Jenkintown and since then it has become a favorite of me and my daughter who’s now 18 years old!!
