My wife and I stopped here for lunch for the first time and were totally impressed.

We were immediately greeted in a very friendly Manner and were immediately seated.

We were quickly greeted by our waiter Jon. He was very personable and nice.

My wife ordered the Penne Vodka Pasta and I had the Chicken Marsala.

Both came out extremely quick and were very hot.

Both dishes were extremely tasty and well prepared.

The restaurant itself seemed to be extremely clean and well-organized. It is also a very comfortable atmosphere.

The other night, my family and I ordered takeout from Marco Polo and it was great! Now I am not just hyping it up because I used to work there. I do truly believe the service and food is truly the best. My order was ready on time, and everything was included in the order. It was supplied with dinner rolls, and parmesan for the pasta dishes, and more importantly it was still hot upon arrival to my house. I have no complaints other than I wish I could order it everyday!! I will post a picture of a few dishes and name a few that were not photographed because they were eaten up right away. :) One of the dishes was Chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti. You can never go wrong with a simple chicken parm. Two, I had the Penne Scampi which had a great amount of baby shrimp, regular shrimp, and the taste was great. Another dish was the Cavatelli with Shrimp & Crab. This dish was savory and filled with garlic which is something I love. They did not skimp on the crab, and shrimp either. The only thing I would say is that it was a bit oily, other than that it is a great dish. Another dish, was the Filet Mignon with Crab. It was cooked to perfection, and melted in your mouth. The garlic mashed potatoes are always a hit, and the asparagus was perfectly cooked and firm. Now with the desserts, we had cannolis and tiramisu which are homemade by the way which is one of the reasons they are pretty much two of the top desserts. They were perfect, and just right for an after dinner sweet treat. We also has ordered the molten chocolate cake served with ice cream which is also another dessert that you cannot go wrong with. It was decadent and mouth watering. I give this restaurant 5 stars, especially for having excellent service and food during these unprecedented times. I feel spoiled to have such a great restaurant so close to home! Thank you Marco Polo !

Before the Plannedemic Marco Polo was the best Italian restaurant in the entire area.

The the bug hit and the owner decided to change the menu instead just raising prices.

As a regular I would have preferred to just pay more and keep everything the way it was.

The changes warded off the regulars and attracted the kind of people who are used to Olive Garden.

Now they are closed.
I hope if it opens the old menu will come back.
Also get rid of the shortcuts like
Microwaving old food.

Reservations made only for 6 or more people EXCEPT FOR VALENTINE'S DAY, so we found out at the door but we were accommodated. Food was great as was the service.

Went there 2 weeks ago alone. The cocktail shrimp was good, the squash soup was good and my penne was amazing. Under $40 for everything altogether. Definitely my new spot.

Well the sign is down as are the awnings. I think it is more than just a temporary closure. Shame it was a great restaurant.

We have only ever eaten take out here but it has always been great. Crab cakes are the best in this area we have found. Pizza is amazing. The steaks are always cooked right. They have a very convenient take out set up and my wife and I love treating ourselves to a fancy meal at home. This place has never let us down. It’s fine dining at home for us.

NOTE: they closed due to water damage from an upstairs fire. Maybe they'll reopen one day? They are missed.

Love their food, especially their seafood entrees, which do not skimp on the seafood! Great service too.

Update: ordered their pizza for delivery and it was really, surprisingly, good, which didn't expect since not a pizza place and not something I think they are known for.

The food was dish and the ambiance is nice. I will definitely come again and again and again 😃

Went on a Saturday night. Was seated within 2 minutes. Food was amazing from the salads to the main courses. Didn't take pictures but we will definitely go again. The others in my party had never been but all liked Marco Polo. Wait staff was helpful and friendly.

Celebrated my birthday here with family. Every single person loved this place! The food n appetizers were all outstanding. The service was exceptional 5 stars! Loveeeee everything about this place

My family and I had an amazing time at Marco Polo yesterday. Colleen and her team were wonderful!!! She was so helpful with assisting me to decorate the area for my aunt's 75th birthday celebration. The team were fast and friendly!
The food was AMAZING! We had a group of 55 people and everything was great.
I am about to plan my friend's 50th birthday party there because I loved everything about the place.

Absolutely delicious - have not been in a while but will definitely be back! Server, Christina, was the best - dealt with some very challenging customers with so much diplomacy and grace. Perfect holiday atmosphere too!!!

We had a large party for dinner and the staff was wonderful and accommodating. When we had to add 2 more to the guest list, they were able to work it out without issue. The food was delicious, everything was served hot and in a timely fashion. The waitress was courteous and attentive without being overly so. Francisco was such a help to us. I definitely plan to eat there again.

Lovely little local Italian restaurant. Warm and attentive wait staff, never felt like I waited long for anything. Loved everything I've tried so far.

I love this place we try to go often but dont always make it. I love the service being on point but I always feel rushed. I like time in between courses. I end up spending more too if I have more time to digest, relax, and enjoy the company I'm with. I would understand if other guests were waiting for a table but it was 5pm. Food is always great, still 5 stars.

Was so thrilled to be back after a long time away due to quarantine. Always great service. Had the red snapper, flavorful and perfectly cooked. All three of us enjoyed our meals and our time there.

We have had take out from them and it was great so we were excited to give them another try. We drove 30 min through down trees and wires, sat down and they lost power. To our relief the lights came back and we were able to order and it was delicious! One of, if not our favorite, calamari, and honestly, every dish was as good as the next. Fresh manicotti, nice crispy chicken parm, just the way we like it, and the shrimp scampi and salmon dishes were a homerun too.
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and reasonable pricing. It was definitely worth the ride:)

Always great..eat here often for decades. Food excellent, big portions, prices fair, staff awesome - especially Serena &Amber (both waitresses). My favorite Elkins Park restaurant!
