We spent 2 1/2 years at Happy Minds and I could not be happier about our experience there. The only reason we left was because the location no longer worked for us, and I have not been able to find any other school that compares to Happy Minds. From the moment I met Inga and Anne on my first tour, I knew Happy Minds would be the best place to care our son. It is clean, updated and impeccably maintained. The daily programs are well planned and varied which kept my son interested and engaged all day long. He thrived in that environment and was always happy to get up and go to school every morning. The staff - especially Inga, Anne, Jaynie and Jen - cared for him as if he was their own. They offered incredible support and guidance to help his growth and development. I looked forward to the photos that were posted on the app every afternoon, and received a full detailed report at the end of the day. It helped me feel fully connected to what happened during the day while I was at work.

We love Happy Minds! The teachers are incredible, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The classrooms are awesome, filled with cool stuff for hands-on learning. My kid has grown so much, gaining confidence and a genuine love for learning. The school values community and teaches important life skills. If you want a nurturing and fun pre-K experience, this is the place to be.

My daughter loves the teachers and Inga. She has the best teachers who are always attentive and caring towards her. She is my youngest and we wish we had found this center earlier so all our kids could have the same experience. Highly recommend!

I’ve had my almost 1-year old child in the infant room at Happy Minds for 6 months and have been very happy with the care and staff. The teachers Anne and Rachel are attentive, and I see SO much joy when they interact with my child! When I receive daily reports, the teachers have documented my child’s mood, food/bottle intake, and shared special observations they’ve made during the day—it is exceptionally personalized!

I have two children who have each attended/attend Happy Minds Montessori. My daughter, who is now in Kindergarten started preschool there shortly after the school opened in 2016. She had a great experience and was ready for a full day kindergarten program this year, 2019-2020. I am planning to send her back for the summer camp program this summer and she is excited to go back. My son, who just turned 3, has been attending Happy Minds Montessori since he was 3 months old. I have been very happy with the care that the staff at this school has given to each of my children over the past 4 years. I have always felt that they have the children's best interest in mind. Miss Anne cared for my son when he was in the infant room. I was a breastfeeding mom who pumped while I was at work. Miss Anne and they other infant staff always took care of my breastmilk and feedings as I recommended. I believe that Miss. Anne cares for the babies and loves each of them as though they are her own. Over the past year, my son has been in the toddler room with Miss Jen, Miss. Anna, and Miss. Jordyn. He absolutely loves each one of them. There are always activities to keep the children engaged and he loves the extra curricular activities including music, yoga, and soccer. Last month my son, who just turned 3, transitioned into the Preschool class with Miss. Liza (who cared for my daughter for 2 years). We love her! The staff at Happy Minds took great care to make the transition a smooth one by sending him to the preschool class for increasing amounts of time in the morning the week before he started in his new class. They have also been encouraging him without pressuring him to use the potty since he has been extremely stubborn with potty training. Miss Urvi, the director has always been available to talk with and always been flexible with my schedule, allowing me to bring my children on days of the week that they would not normally attend. This flexibility has been extremely helpful and I am certain that other daycares/preschools can not offer this flexibility because they fill their staff/child ratio every single day. I extremely thankful for the great care that the staff of Happy Minds has given to my each of my children. I am surprised to read some of the negative reviews listed and I believe that if you keep open communication with the staff, they will try their hardest to care for your child as you request.

We have been using Happy Minds Montessori for the last 3 years and all 3 of our kids attend. We have been beyond thrilled with them! All of our kids love attending and the preschool Montessori curriculum is excellent. Our daughter has really come out of her shell and is so independent now! We cannot rave enough about the loving teachers that have been with all of our kids.

Friendly staff and very clean -- indoor and outdoor spaces to play! My 9 month old son attends the infant daycare. Jamie and the entire staff make you feel very comfortable and they genuinely care about each child. It's fairly priced and they don't just sit the kids in front of the TV. The Montessori structure for learning and growing is next to none!

I love that we have a preschool this close to me that is based on the Maria Montessori extensive research with children and characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child’s natural psychological, physical, and social development. It lets our kids explore, manipulate and work on purposeful activities. Which helps children in every stage of development. The inside of the school is designed in a great way. Any child that gets the opportunity to attend this school will have great benefits from the very beginning and in the long run.

my children attended this school for 7 months. The 1 year old class was AMAZING. The staff cared for my children and I could observe the growth in them. When my children transitioned into the 2 year old class there was a complete change. The lead teacher was rude and unprofessional. My children were not allowed to bring back packs to school (when I witnessed other classmates who did), the teacher reported "SHE did not have TIME to heat their Meals, most importantly my children were showing behaviors that they were being scolded (with pointed waving fingers). When the issues were reported to the director she reported that her abilities were limited due to staffing. I received negative reports EVERYDAY that continued to create the negative relationship between the children/myself and the staff. I was waiting the the parent/teacher meetings to have a 1:1 conversation with the teacher, however it was "cancelled" and she provided the progress reports hand written at the front door in the midst of a rushed drop off. I did not want to remove them from the school in a haste knowing that there is an adjustment period. I know for sure my son was not engaged during class from the photos posted and his development was not progressing as it did in the previous class. In the end when having a conversation with the director about them being removed from the center, I was told that my children was not a good fit for the 2 yr old class, however they would be welcomed back for any other class in the center. I feel terrible that I subjected my children to this environment for so long. My children have been in a different school for the past 4 months and have flourished. Now I know it was for sure that TOXIC learning environment. I am rating the 2 stars because of the staff in the 1 year old class and the director was very knowledgeable.

Our daughter went here for a few months in 2018. I absolutely do not recommend. They followed unsafe infant practices, such as bottle propping (against state code before 6 months to even let an infant feed unattended) and placing extraneous items in the crib, ie. burp cloth. None which seemed to bother the teachers or management when informed. I did not feel safe having my child here and as soon as I could get off a waiting list and into another school, I pulled her. I also do not feel many of the staff is fully trained and qualified in early childhood education or Montessori. I've heard many recent horror stories and am glad we left when we did.

This place is awful. They don't even have a changing table for the children that are not potty trained. The children over the age of 3 have no access to toys. At the tender age of three years old all class rooms are stripped of any and all toys. Anything that seems at all fun and interesting to a child is removed from the rooms, I know that it is part of the Montessori process but the rooms are devoid of any of the developmentally appropriate areas a keystone stars or even not a keystone stars classroom would have i.e dramatic play areas, constructive play areas, opportunities for sensory play. The outside area is even worse anytime it rains its so muddy that students under three are not even given outside time, unless you consider a walk through the parking lot a fair equivalent. Their are many better preschool options out there.

Do not send your kids here. Urvi has no clue what she is doing- this is a family owned facility that hired her because she is related to them. They know nothing about breastmilk. My son didn’t have a crib or cubby. They didn’t make me lable his breastmilk bottles- they definitely don’t follow health guidelines for breastmilk. They sit the bottles on a windowsill directly in the sun. The fingerprinting to get into the building to pick up your child often didn’t work. You couldn’t pay online- instead you had to tell Urvi each week how you wanted to pay and give her your credit card numbers- but you won’t get receipts for it. I don’t believe this facility is professional or even true Montessori. I have heard awful stories from other families that have their kids there. (Including biting and bullying and marks being covered up). Would never recommend. I’m sure this place was great a few years ago with old management but it certainly isn’t now. I was also told that one of the good reviews on their Facebook page is posted by the owners themselves.

Do not send your kids here. The director is not qualified, a pathological liar, and has such poor management of the school that kids have been hurt repeatedly because of it. The school’s sanctions and history of horrible and harmful care can be found by checking their license on PA Compass Provider Search. The school has been reported by several for the harming of children, unsafe policies, and lack of qualifications, dishonesty, and poor management of the school by the director Urvi. With the exception of a few great teachers, our experience here was terrible and I would not recommend for anyone to send their child here.
