The Village Diner

My mom and I enjoyed our visit for brunch here. We came on a weekend morning, and we were told there was a half-hour wait. We were seated in 20 minutes. Our server was super friendly, and our food came out quickly. The coffee was decent, and so were the prices. The blueberry pancakes and homefries were delicious. The bacon wasn't as crispy as I liked, so my mom ate mine. The atmosphere is nice. It's not exactly super retro, but it has a nice homey and cozy feel to it. It is very crowded, especially near the door, but we were seated in the back room so that wasn't a problem. They also offer outdoor seating, but not when we visited, probably due to the lack of servers.

We had such a wonderful time at The Village Diner! It is such a friendly, quaint place with a friendly and engaging staff. The food was delicious and the service was great! Our server, Mo, was attentive and sweet! Because someone heard we were celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary and our friends were celebrating their 50th, our bill was taken care of. That kind gesture brought me to tears!! I'm so glad we went there this morning. We will definitely visit again!

First time ordering the kids sampler for my daughter and Omgsh I’ve never seen bigger fluffier more delicious pancakes. Everything was yummy but the pancakes were definitely the star of the show; they are massive. I can’t say enough about the service too. Highly recommended! I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because it was crowded not in a bad way but it was definitely a full house and I can see why. 😋yum!

Came by here early on a Sunday and had a very tasty jumbo(?) breakfast sandwich with scrapple, provolone, and egg on an English muffin. Delicious!

The place is nice and cozy, too. Proper diner feel, even down to the syrup dispensers (which by the way, syrup goes great with coffee). Lovely little spot, easy to find, and the food (especially the home fries) was delightful!

Reasonable prices, good food, great service. You get your own carafe of coffee. We ordered the Sampler for breakfast... two eggs, two toast, two pieces of meat, two pancakes or French toast, hash browns and toast... you will be bringing home a to go box for breakfast tomorrow.

This Local diner was suggested to me by my best friend and the food was amazing. I had the best grill cheese sandwich ever. The waitress we had was super sweet. Will definitely return back!!!

It was my first visit here. The service was quick, friendly and accommodating. The food was good and plentiful. My friend and I both had trouble finishing our meals. I left full and satisfied. Very reasonable prices too! Thank you

Stopped by for breakfast. It's a cute old fashioned diner. Service was fast and friendly. Food was good, especially the home fries. Didn't give it 5 stars because the bacon was more like a beef jerky texture. But everything else was perfect.

I thought the food here was amazing. I want to say this has become one of my favorite places to eat.

Our hostess was amazing. She was greeting everyone and made sure everyone felt comfortable even though it was super busy. She ran the place like clockwork.

They were really friendly and so was the atmosphere. The breakfast was great too. I had a grilled blueberry muffin and it was perfect amount of sweetness.

Absolutely a hidden treasure of Glenside, great food, and staff. The biscuits and gravy is tremendous!

Great local breakfast location. I usually seek out places that have gluten-free options, but meeting a friend and was a convenient location. Friendly staff and good breakfast. They definitely make a decent cup of coffee. Definitely recommend.

First time, it was great loved the small atmosphere & decor, gave me some great memories...

went with my friends, sat immediately by friendly staff, quick service and amazing food. i love that they asked if i had a choice of butter and powdered sugar on my pancakes because most other diners just put it on without asking. it’s a small thing that made my experience better. had to steal some of my friends bacon because of how good it was. staff was nice and always refilled our water without us having to ask. i would give 10 stars if i could.

An old school, small town atmosphere with great food. A regular spot for me!
