Goodwives Shopping Center

The historic starting point of the 1979 cannonball run, Brock Yates gathered together a world class group of scofflaws to embark on a rather high speed tour of the usa, culminating at the portofino Inn Redondo Beach. There is a plaque now dedicated to this outside the liquor shop. As a side note the 2019 C2C Express re ran the route for the 40th anniversary and had an absolute blast, John Ficarra also ran the musketball in 2021 with under 100hp cars, all starting here, and the drivers meeting were all held on the famous dumpster around the rear. Cannonball fans come and pay homage!

Great shopping center. All types of shops to spend time and money in them. On Wednesday’s from 10:00am to 3:00 pm it hosts a Farmer’s Market stop by especially Wave Hill Bread 🍞 tent and on Saturday’s at First Congregational Church from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, also.

Fresh veggiesand found my plantains ..what a surprise I wasnt expecting to find those there. I also bought my brisket at an excellentprice and the front end cashier was great helpingme out at the sel serve register.

This Goodwives shopping plaza has a variety of shops, restaurants, yoga studio, UPS store, Darien cheese shop and a excellent food emporium and many other shops This is all anchored by a Stop and Shop supermarket. Goodwives shopping plaza is a very pleasant shopping experience.

The best store in this shopping center for me at least, is the Darien Cheese Shop. Now here's a man that knows his business. What seems like thousands of products most of which are cheeses, are the very best quality you can anywhere. The only change I would implemated is an earlier opening time. Very pricey but worth every penny.

Smaller Stop and Shop to be found here. A mix of restaurants and local shops can be found there as well as a bank with a drive up. Parking is more than sufficient. This is within walking distance of the train station as well

I like new crew that they have their animation I feel like a new crew that is doing the work they do and they're being very very Pacific to do not know that you don't washing tires the washing a car to do any inside out and did not just in know half doing it but they had but they did have some staff did have was not doing a good job but not acquit the new staff that they have there is doing a very good job

I love the food court!!! And they have lots of interesting stores. Very well managed. Pleasant atmosphere. Huge parking lot. Nice mall.

A charming shopping center just off the beaten path in Darien with a lovely catering shop, (yummy desserts) lots of little boutiques, a drive-thru People's Bank with a drive-thru ATM, as well, several restaurants ( we love Tengda especially for take-out), a mailbox, UPS store, Stop and Shop, a day spa, and lots more. It also hosts a farmer's market every Wednesday usually from 11 to 3 from May to November.
I've been shopping there for 60 years as I grew up in Darien so I am slightly biased. I remember browsing the aisles of the 5 & 10 cents store (which, of course, is no longer there, boohoo) As with everything on the Post Road, The Goodwives Shopping Center has just about anything you might need in almost one stop.

Everyone here acts like a robot. Really fun to “people” watch.

Stop n Shop is large store, has freshest produce in area, great variety and better than Whole Foods! I can get everything I need in 1 place!

Charmingly named shopping center that betray's the area's apparently instituted historically justified conservatism; it's a group of decent to excellent shops that play host to Darien's wealthy mothers in SUV's. Careful if you're walking up - folks in this part of CT aren't used to pedestrians - as is best evidenced by the lack of sidewalks.

A nice shopping center with ample parking space. It houses 'Stop & Shop', Coromandel Indian restaurant and Tengda Asian bistro (Japanese cuisine).

Nice mix of stores, but the Stop & Shop is a little on the smaller size.

Convenient less crowded place to shop. A nice variety of small shops.

Clean ,clean, quality food and love employees and parking is ample,and the shopping center is welcoming and we'll kept .
