I really enjoyed this place. The octopus was super tender and tasty. Also, the carbonara was good.I sat at the bar and the bartenders were very nice and chatty.
Also the bar is right next to the pianist that is great. We enjoy the whole experience. I could definitely repeat.

Best Italian in CT! The food is delicious, staff is exceptional, and live music is the icing on the cake! Donna the hostess is the sweetest and Avnor always makes sure my experience is great. Definitely try the steak and the truffle ravioli. The napoleon is the best dessert. Worth the trip from out of town for Polpo!

This was my first time at Polpo in Greenwich. I dinned in with my family. Everything was terrific. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place, and I will be back.

My sister took my 95 year old mom there and they treated her like royalty. The staff and owner were incredibly kind and generous. The food was fabulous. Just an amazing restaurant in every respect.

Dining at Polpo Restaurant for the first time and I understood why they placed a restaurant inside of a house, because the food and the atmosphere felt like home.

First and foremost the waiters and their service was superb. Very attentive and accommodating. We started off with a delicious seafood salad and some wellfleet oysters, which I must say those oysters were ocean nectar. My girlfriend ordered the 'Risotto of the Day' which came with shrimp, scallops, and radicchio. I ordered the salmon and capers, with a side of garlic pasta and calms. Absolutely delicious! The salmon was cooked and seasoned to perfection, truly the best salmon I've ever eaten so far. If you're look for a restaurant that specializes in Seafood/Italian cuisine, this homey place would most certainly be it.

Had a wonderful time with a friend at Polpo last night. We had the best table in the bar area and enjoyed the piano music. The food, wine selection, service and atmosphere were all exceptional. We will definitely be back. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and really enjoyed it. The lobster was great and the wait staff is top notch. We’ll definitely be back. I should also add the bar area was beautiful

I love everything about this restaurant. the staff are genuine, extremely attentive and professional. The food is extraordinary and the ambiance is what we all look for but seldom find. I always seek this restaurant out when business brings me to their area., and often will dine here many nights in a row. Lucky me.

Great place, great food, great service draw in the highest caliber customers and have them comming back for more. The bar can get packed before everyone gets seated in the prime dining times, but imo this adds to the experience and helps socializing and meeting new people.

Cozy, fun and great food. Especially enjoyed that they had a piano man (Dan) am I was honored to sing a couple songs with copper is excellent, and very versatile in music styles. Definitely coming back.

What a wonderful experience. Old world style. The staff were very attentive. The food was exceptional. If you want really delicious food and a warm and convivial atmosphere, this is the place. Some people truly understand the meaning of hospitality- and these owners do. A husband-and-wife team--They are at the door, smiling and greeting guests, walking through the dining room, smiling and speaking with patrons, checking satisfaction levels and listening to compliments and complaints.
The point is that they are PRESENT all the time and you really feel that they care. Perfect for indoor or outdoor (summer) dining. The food is delicious and the service is great. Love it at POLPO and can’t wait for their new brasserie “The Lion” to open. Cheers, Brian & Lisa

Loved this place. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great bar. Service was fantastic. The pianist have the place a warm and fun vibe. A bit difficult to converse at your table if you are near the piano.

Must visit when in Southerm Connecticut. Service was phenomenal, staff are exactly where you want them when you need them. Food was off the charts good and bartenders downstairs were friendly knowledgeable and funny as hell.

Absolute favorite restaurant in Greenwich and even in NY. Polpo is a whole experience - from the incredible wait staff, to the piano players that play lovely tunes. Their food is always always always delicious and on point. Polpo is the best!

My husband and I went to Polpo for a date night. It was a really cute and cozy little restaurant in Greenwich. I personally loved the decor and ambiance. It was a little rustic but chic and it just felt very comfortable. Our server was very pleasant and made great recommendations! I am a huge seafood person and the lobster I’ve tried at Polpo was delicious! Very fresh and well prepared. I also tried some of my husband’s pasta and it was incredible. What we also loved is that they had live entertainment and a man playing the piano who happened to be very good and took our song requests! Fun place and great food. We will be back for sure.
