Great daytime biker bar. Only food is hot dogs, but fantastic atmosphere, rocking music. Older crowd, but real energy. No yuppies or hipsters, but neither an old-man’s place. You want a BAR, this is the place.

I haven't been to the Shamrock in thirty years...then I had my refurbished 58 Triumph Bike...wish I still had it....Finally retired after 51 years and time for a return visit....Intrigued by the thought of Hot Dogs and mature Folks...see ya soon Tommy K.

Best bartenders, always friendly faces. I love the diversity of the patrons. Karaoke host is amazing on Fridays. My favorite hang out when I want to get my sing on.

Always a good stop for a cold beer. Entertainment both musically and socially.
Have food specials (sometimes food trucks) catered during various times of the week/weekend.

Excellent little bar to just relax or pull in on your motorcycle. Drinks are reasonable, people are very friendly and the bartenders are the best. Happy hour food is typically available or you can just have a shammy dog. If you see a stunning blonde haired blue-eyed bartender it's most likely Erica - say hi.

Nice place to stop for a drink after a long ride. The bartender was very nice and there were some pretty cool people there. There's a live band every Sunday. It a little slice of biker heaven

My favorite hometown bar!!! Erica and her staff are absolutely amazing... The girls are very friendly and on their game!!! They always remember your name and what you drink... I LOVE. THIS BAR!!!!

Karaoke Friday nights is the best! Alex the DJ really gets the crowd going and Megan the bartender is quick and makes awesome drinks always service with a smile!

This is a Biker bar. If you are not a biker then maybe you ought to stay home and not come here. Besides Bikers they have local farmers and on Friday nights they host karaoke. Lots of younger 20 somethings show up for Karaoke night. Most people in the summer time park their bikes out back. Out back there is pavilion area and a bandstand and a great place to take in a concert on Sunday nights in the summer. Erica the best bartender in CT runs the place, I think she is part owner, but she is real sweet and remembers everyone's favorite beer and favorite shot. I show up and she throws down my rolling rock and a shot of Jose Guervo and she remembers many other and people show just show up once or twice a year. She is beautiful beyond description and the best bartender in the world. If you like to ride American Iron and live in North Central CT on the MA boarder you have to drip by.

I recently moved to Suffield, previously from West Hartford, Avon, Farmington. I'm a prep, jock, head, business owner, that get's along and parties with everyone. The atmosphere is classic dive, bare bones bar. It has nice horseshoe bar with flat screens, a pool table off to one side of the bar and open area with a table or two for standing or dancing. They have a good juke box and I heard bikini bingo on Thursday nights in the summer, karaoke Friday nights and excellent bands on Sundays out on the Pavillion in the back of the bar. With a deck and some tables and chairs. The few times I've been there (by myself) everyone was super friendly and in no time I was doing shots with the locals, young couples, older bikers and their old ladies, and even some hot babes came up to me to say hi. . .A lot more friendly than West Hartford center, although I always have a good time when I'm there too.

The 'owner' (that's what I was told) Erica, behind the bar, is a sweetheart and super friendly and wicked hot too.

I spoke to a local cop and here's the 411. He said it was an Outlaws bar, then they raided their house in town and they moved out and then Hells Angels bar and they did the same thing and now he said "it's pretty kewl with good bands on Sundays."
I'll have to ask Erica what it was like back then.

I did not see any gang affiliations as far as bikers when I was there and everyone was just there to chill and have a good time. People of all ages from 20s to 50s

I'd say it's very safe , very friendly and a great place to knock a few back if you like that type of atmosphere.

I get the feeling it's like a Cheeers bar to some of the local patrons. I haven't gone that often to find out YET. . .

If you like a low key, classic bar to sit there and wash away your sorrows. . .or if you're looking to have some fun and party . . .It's perfect!

I am a local native/resident.. cost affective biker bar. Great drinks, great bar tenders. Day time is sunny bright glass windows from back deck.. motor cyle pit where you catch someone burning out a tire in spring summer fall.. might see a couple pulling in on quads in rideing gear... winter time snomobiles..its great..might see a good brawl come night.. might not... good wholesome people... SUNDAYS DURING SUMMER LIVE BAND AND HAMBURG HOTDOGS..

This turned out to be a rocking little spot, live music out back, smoked BBQ on the side and two separate bars to get your drinks at.

The Shamrock is a nice place to unwind and listen to a band or just hang out with friends. Friendly staff and clean. Check it out if you are in the area.

The place has a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, the bartender is quick and friendly, the outside deck for smoking and drinking with lots of seating.

Molly is a great bartender and her hotdog old fashioneds are second to none. The secret is the hotdog zest. Keep pushing those wizard fingers
