My favorite place to get a bagel and tea. I love how pretty it is inside, it almost feels like you aren't in New Canaan.. in a good way :) The staff is also very kind. p.s. they make the best chai tea

You can not go wrong with this charming cafe with very much a European ambiance. Cheerful, creative lighting, artful visual menu selections, encourage you to examine well selected and perfected choices. Coffee is always fresh,, flavored or not, almond milk available. Muffins rank the best in New Canaan, egg sandwiches are house specialty, prepared to taste on almost anything,. Sandwiches offer a palate please and creative grouping of flavors combos, my favorite being mozzarella and pesto panini. Sweets include lemon cake, magic bars and cookies like you deserve them…and brownies! You really should make this gem a daily stop for cheerful service and great start for your day, lunch, pick-me-up break, house guests, catered event! O, for sure try any of the rotating soups! Hit the spot regularly!

Nice coffee shop. The almond vanilla latte will never disappoint! Pastries are delicious. My son loves to order BEC.

I never come to New Canaan without coming here (sometimes 2x a day). I cannot say enough good things about this place - from the ginger cookies and cherries and berries muffins, to the best iced coffee (hands down), they are also the nicest people that work there. I interact with the same 2 men every single time and I absolutely adore them both.

A very nice and reassuring experience all around. Wonderful friendly staff, best muffins I’ve ever had, so fresh, and good to see this eatery still going since I first visited in the early 1990s, but get to only occasionally because I live overseas.

Don't waste your time with Grubhub, they charged me double for my muffin. I called the restaurant and they were very busy so had to call me back.. got the call less than 5 minutes later and they had already adjusted my order. Muffin and coffee were great, as was the service. I will definitely be back.. maybe next time I'll just phone in my order.

I Uber from this place almost every morning for almost a year now. I love their food. Always fresh. Always pay attention to notes and requests.
