Cactus Rose Restaurant & Tequila Bar

Very accommodating when we asked to be seated outside away from everyone as we had two kids who were hyper at that moment. The waiter was extremely nice and offered cotton candy for the kids at the end of the meal. The food was delicious and the salsa was fresh but the bottomless chips do not include the salsa FYI. Every part of the restaurant was decorated beautifully and I definitely got a Cali vibe from it all. Will be returning when in the area.

We went to Cactus Rose for the first time this evening and were completely blown away from beginning to end. The friendly staff met us and got us a great table out on the patio. The maître d’ explained the menu and their specials. The wait staff was prompt and professional.

But the food! It was extraordinary. We started with a tropical guacamole with mango and jicama. Never had anything like it. My wife had mahi-mahi and I had shrimp with Spanish chorizo over mushroom risotto. Every bite was perfect.

From ambience to great service to excellent food, you have to add Cactus Rose to your list. You won’t be disappointed.

Only went for lunch, but pretty fast and nice service. The salmon on the salad was really great, I enjoyed the crispy skin especially, but it was a bit hard to cut with just my butter knife. The southwest salad was well chopped, and had great flavor but I had a hard time getting the beans and etc with each bite.

The reservation was easy to make, and the staff were extremely helpful .
The ambiance was great, and the food definitely lived up to my expectations.

Great place to celebrate our anniversary as we come year after year. Nice to see familiar faces as we enter...and to be remembered where we usually sit. We plan to stay awhile enjoying our caipirinhas and appetizers. There are a variety of eats to choose from. Their photos on the menu really help you make the choice of what you see. Chorizo flatbread, blistered peppers, and guacamole with corn and bacon is a good warmup. We love their steamed mussels with their cream sauce and the sangrita seafood cocktail, but we come for their seared wild Portuguese octopus. Yummy and tender. Tenderloin tacos are a good one to share for three. Keep it spicy with a Thorny Rose or Spicy Pepino cocktail. A shot of tequila is a must at this tequila bar. Then have a dessert with some coffee. Then the night is complete with some cotton candy.

This kale salad with steak is out of this world. Margaritas here are amazing-- "cactus rose" is my favorite. I am upset I didn't take a picture. This restaurant has a great vibe. The outdoor patio is perfect for all types of weather. Don't forget to have chips and guac!

Went here for my birthday this year. Vibe and ambiance was great inside and out. The manager was super attentive and sick with us through the night. Our server was top notch, great recommendations and funny. Last but not least the food & drinks… phenomenal. We’ll be back again for sure!

Wow. Such a great experience. The atmosphere is trendy & fun. We were greeted immediately at the door by several friendly staff. Came here last minute to celebrate my birthday & it was fantastic! Food was delicious & there’s a large variety of plates. Drinks were delicious. They all sang me happy birthday & the bartender came over to give us free shots. Definitely coming back & highly recommend to all! Thank you for the lovely experience.

My absolute favorite place to eat. Food quality is always consistently good and the wait staff is so nice and accommodating. Love the owners too! Def go there and support this business!

Well I think I don’t have to give any hype to this place because this spot speak for its self, food is wonderful and the service is excellent, nice ambiance and good location if you don’t mind traveling into beautiful Wilton to eat here, thumbs up in my book!👍🏽

We celebrated my friend’s 22nd birthday, and it was AMAZING! The food was great, it was served very fast! On top of that the waiter made us feel extra special by giving us all a free drink! The owners kept coming around and asking us if things were okay. I swear everyone MUST come here! Good food, amazing service, and fun times! It was a very nice and homey feeling!

Maria the owner is super sweet! Always makes sure you’re greeted when you walk in. The staff is amazing. They are full of energy & just super positive. The food is delicious & the margaritas of course, lupe knows how to make them great. The atmosphere is nice also. They have a great outside patio that is fantastic during the summer. If you’re in the general area & looking for a place to eat. This is definitely the place to stop by. I think you’ll enjoy the experience.

The special was expensive but it definitely met expectations. Thinking about the dish a day later.

I've been here a few times, and always had a positive experience. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The food is excellent quality and there are options for those seeking other than Southwest/Tex-Mex cuisine (e.g. the burger, which is divinely good, and seasonal vegetable plate with mushroom risotto), though the latter is great. Prices of some dishes are on the high side, but the food is worth it, from what I can tell.

I recommend the screened patio/porch with outdoor fireplace. Also very cool (but not hot, like the fireplace!) is the cotton candy - a treat you don't see much of these days. For dessert, I recommend the chocolate chili mousse concoction. The Bomba sounds rich but is actually quite delectable and refreshing.

One of Wilton's best restaurants for unique plates. The staff is friendly, the tequila cocktails are great, and I can't wait to return. Every dish we tried was fantastic. This place is equally good for a nice family outing as it is for entertaining clients or a date spot.

The best services and the must delicious food!

I went to dinner here last night with 5 of my girlfriends. The restaurant made sure to have masks on and keep every socially distanced from one another. The service was amazing and the staff was super friendly and outgoing. The food was delicious and I will always highly recommend this place. If you do go here, ask for Jeramie to be your waiter. He is so outgoing, friendly and knew when we needed him!!!!!!!
