Sunrise Park

Went during off season but was very beautiful. Many things to do. Fishing, swimming, kayaking, a playground and a Pavillion with grills. Can't wait to come back this summer!

I love this park! It’s so peaceful, not crowded, marked trails (wear appropriate shoes) , dog friendly. Don’t tell anyone. Perfect leaf peeping foliage. I will definitely come back here !

This a private pond for west suffield homeowner, well maintained, two outdoor restroom is available, you can do fishing, kayaking, there is a play area for the kids, Camp area, available overnight room. There is fee for not west suffield residents!

Large park, wooded trails for hiking around a beautiful pristine pond. Swimming area for people and a separate area for dogs. Abundant fishing and activities for kids. Picnic tables and grilles on site. Even a room with a deck over the lake available to rent out.

A great local gem, just sad that most of the visitors(50-75%) are out of state.

We had a family get together. Love love coming to this hidden gem! Good time for all !!

Very peaceful and dog friendly! There is even a small beach area for dogs to swim and a great hiking trail around the lake. Didn't realize on my first visit it was for town residents only as I just moved to Suffield but I will be sure to get my permit soon! I have a feeling my dog and I will be frequent visitors once the weather is nicer!

Awesome park for some walking, picnic, or some good ol' bass fishing. In the summer there is a beach for the kids, and I believe a building that can be rented for larger events. Not sure if they charge out of towner's during the summer months but still a very nice park to come to.

Beautiful wooded setting, adjacent to a pond. You would never know it is there unless you are looking for it. The pavilion was comfortable on a 85+ degree day!

A wonderful residents-only park.

I grew up in this town and enjoyed many days swimming, hiking, and camp here at sunrise park. It is kept clean, offers clean restrooms

I use to love going there for hiking as it runs alongside the Blue Trail but now is only for Suffield Residents sadly.

I'm glad the town of suffield doesn't allow anyone from the outside areas into the park, after all its town tax dollars that keep it up.. For all those who feel triggered by this I encourage you to make your own park/safe space somewhere else.. This is a very beautiful park and is a nice place... By the way I'm not a suffield resident.

Hidden gem in Suffield. Great fishing, fun playscapes and giant slide for kids, pretty nice beach and excellent hiking!

I'm not sharing why i love this place. Historically it's just for town residents. Theirs been debate if it's open to out of towners.
