Have been living in Enfield for about 3 years, I used to pass through this place every day, Jamaican food, I like spice and this guy's green Scotch Bonnet peppers similar than my habaneros, so, today I make plan with the wify to stop after work and take dinner there, food is pretty good, I put a 9 of 10, a lot of flavor, people is really friendly, I do recommend 100% this place! Rice, beans, and meat area flavorful! 😋

Fantastic and authentic Jamaican food. Jerk chicken with rice & peas was 10/10. Love the music and the vibe. The handmade paintings are beautiful. The perfect location for easy take out too. The patties were delicious as well.

Blown away. I got the oxtail with a mixed rice option. Wow. Can't say enough great things about this place. The food is top notch delicious, owner is super sweet. Portions are just right. When I say this food is amazing I need to be clear about how delicious it is. I don't even like beans/peas. But I ate-em-up. I ate em up without even a thought and I loved every second. I'm happy I have a new favorite restaurant and that it's so close but I would happily drive an hour to eat here.

Always great food. Best “home cooked”experience for take out food. Generous portions and fresh as can be!! Oh yes, our favorite French fries too!

Really enjoyed our food here. It’s family owned, cooked, and operated. We had curry chicken (the small size - they really packed a lot of food in the clamshell ) and curry goat (large size, was enormous) with rice and beans and steamed veg. And a red stripe. And a spicy pattie for later. They even put the premier league on the tv for us to watch while we were eating. It was a very nourishing and delicious meal. Would definitely recommend.

Best chicken in Enfield. I also recommend the plantains. If you are intimidated by spicey foods you can ask for it mild and while still spicy it won't kill a white person 😂

Loved the food. Finally non-greasy, fresh and tasty food!!! The food was hot and delicious. Very friendly owner. Prices totally reasonable for the amount of food you receive. The food was ready at the exact time of pick up too, which was great. Also, I don’t eat out much because I don’t like how I feel after I eat the food. I do not have that feeling after I eat this food, I feel filled, and even the next day didn’t have that take out food hangover. Overall this will be my go to take out food!!

Try this place! It's really good food! I usually order the Jerk Chicken Pasta, but it hasn't had fresh peppers in it the last few times I've ordered it. Please consider adding them back. They made this meal a 10 in my book. Still one of my favorite Enfield food spots regardless!

Food is always delicious and flavourful because. I love the steam cabbage and the variety of drinks. Music is always playing.

We stopped by 1Love due to a bathroom break at a hotel during a long drive to Hadley, MA. Almost went to chipotle, but wanted something unique. I had just had some good Jamaican in Philly, so I jumped at the chance to try some in North CT after a light google maps search.

The stewed pork was absolutely amazing. It was the best Jamaican I've ever had that I can remember; so juicy and flavorful. My first bite was a big piece of pork with a fat strip on it. I was in the car, and after the bite I asked my partner if she could hold the box for a second. I ran in to tell the woman that it was simply "STUPID GOOD." She smiled and thanked me.

While I had my first bite, my partner nibbled at the coconut dessert they had. I forget what it's called (maybe coconut drop) but it was brown and the lady described it to us as similar to peanut brittle, but with coconut and ginger. They had several in plastic clear boxes sitting on the wall for you to grab and go. This was a very unique and delicious dessert - we shared some with our friends we stayed with the following morning and none of us could get enough! The ginger taste seemed strong to some while to me it was very faint which was great because I hate ginger.

Not only was the stewed pork amazing - the plantains were so fresh and tender as well. I didn't love the cabbage as it was a bit plain but who cares... The lady was so nice as I am a talker, so she walked me through the stewed pork and what my options were. I wasn't eating grains that day, so she said instead of the rice and beans I could get plantains, cabbage, or a mix of both. The serving was ENORMOUS for the middle sized box - she gave me a separate boxes for the plantains and cabbage (3 altogether).

I wish I lived closer to this place because I'd be going at least monthly to get my Jamaican fix. I can't wait to drive back up and try the Jerk pork (only available on weekends)!!!!

This is the best Jamaican food around & one of my favorite spots to go. Never had a bad meal or service here! Food is always fresh, piping hot & delicious! Everything is very reasonably priced as well. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order! Last time we went they were all out of the curry chicken so I opted for the stew chicken (which I had never had before)… when I say this chicken was BOMB I mean it! Tender & juicy that just fell right of the bone! They have a wide variety of Jamaican sodas & the pineapple one is my favorite! Always leave very satisfied with the food & service! 5 stars! ⭐❤🇯🇲

Curry chicken and oxtail were juicy and tasted delicious! Far better than some of the places in Springfield. First time here and we will definitely be back and will be telling our friends about it.

I had them cater a family event all the food was hot! Fried chicken was crispy! (45min drive)

I have ordered from here on a few occasions and have been happy with the food all the time. I especially liked the beef patties. Don't forget the coco bread. I don't know what "authentic" Jamaican food tastes like, but I imagine this is it. I would recommend this restaurant.

Food was absolutely delicious, service was great, and loved the atmosphere!

We don't get to have Jamaican style dishes too often and it's great to have this place near home! Had a few of their dishes and all of them are full of great flavor and have not been disappointed yet. Picked up a bottle of their hot sauce. Well priced!

Food is awesome. Very flavorful. They are super nice here. My son love the Jamaican beef patties. I love the fried bananas, get it sometimes as a little extra treat for myself. Hubby loves it as well.

The first time ordering today off DoorDash and i will say i was NOT disappointed. Oxtails were verrry good nice portion good flavor with a hint of sweetness which i love with my oxtails will definitely be ordering again and trying out the whole menu for sure..

Absolutely delicious! We ordered a few things to try a variety. Jerk chicken wrap was the best! The rice and cabbage side with the meals we got was perfect. Staff was very friendly. We will be back for sure.
