Relaxed and elegant dining experience. Our dinner was delicious. Service was good. The atmosphere was calming. I enjoyed everything.

It’s really too bad this place is closing, me and my girlfriend have been going here for a while and it’s always been amazing. I highly recommend checking it out before they close, everything is so good.

Staff was very nice and friendly. My meal came out in a decent amount of time and didnt have to wait long for anything. My meal its self was delicious. I had their braised beef short ribs. It was like the meat melted in my mouth. Cooked perfectly! The short ribs were paired with delicious creamy mashed potatoes, perfectly grilled pieces of zucchini, butter greens top all with a red wine glaze. I also finished my night with a delicious piece of tiramisu. The whole meal was excellent and would definitely recommend the place.

Soft crusty warm bread with delicious oil and Vinegar. The calamari was tender, light, and fresh. The shrimp linguine with asparagus did not disappoint! Delish garlic Alfredo linguine with tender grilled jumbo shrimp, asparagus and roasted tomato and spinach that wasn’t too over cooked. I dont get pasta but 2 times a year and this was well worth the rarity!!

OMG, got the shrimp in garlic Alfredo sauce over asparagus with grilled portobello mushrooms, bacon, spinach, and roasted tomatoes. Magnificent. Define get it again. Service was excellent too!

Excellent food! Staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, and very intuitive. They're obviously trained well. They do not interrupt the guests when taking plates out of the way or refilling water glasses. They slip in silently and leave the guests to enjoy their meals and their conversations. A wonderful experience!

Had a steak with mashed potatoes. Steak was perfectly cooked medium rare like I asked. Service was very good as well. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Southern Vermont.

A wonderful place. My wife and I visited on Tuesday, 27 May 2014. Enjoyed a tapas menu of the spinach salad, calamari, eggplant wrapped around asparagus, rabbit meatballs with gnocchi, followed by mussels. All were excellent. A great find, but we did have way too much to eat. Will go back again.

Can't recommend this place enough. Best meal I've had in ages. Would have never tried it if it wasn't for the other places in town having a wait. We were all impressed and have decided that it will be a destination place for any future trips to the area.

What a wonderful experience my wife and I had at this restaurant. The braised short ribs, hanger steak, and the rabbit sausage meatballs were a few of the best plates we have ever eaten. I wish we didn't have to drive 3 1/2 hours to eat here. These guys are exceptional chef's and service is top notch. Allegro is a five star experience.

This time was better than the last. Terrific service, steaks prepared precisely as ordered. Maybe a tad more butter used than necessary, on the roast potatoes in particular, but then butter tastes good, so there's that.
