Charlotte's Coffee House

We absolutely love Charlotte's Coffee House! We come into the Dubuque area once a year, and this is our second year stopping by Charlotte's. I ordered their biscuits and gravy. It was the best that I've ever had - hands down. The coffee is also fabulous. Delectable food and coffee, perfect atmosphere, and wonderfully friendly staff! I couldn't recommend it more.

So good I came here thrice during our conference. Tried a variety of coffees but usually shared the big breakfast burrito with my coworker. The atmosphere was beautiful with tons of seating outside (front and back) and cute inside tables. Large variety of coffee choices and lots of breakfast items. Even at the busiest, I felt the line went quickly.

It’s very cute place. And delicious food. We ate Charlotte’s Signature panini (very, very delicious) and Veggie panini (not bad).

Wonderful experience. Food and coffee were excellent with great service and atmosphere. You order at the counter and they bring to your table. Many wonderful places to sit indoors and out. Had the breakfast burrito and panini. Try the Chipotle sauce on the side. Very flavorful and only mildly spicy. Only thing that could have been better would be warming the cinnamon roll before serving. Highly recommend!

A nice coffee shop and bistro. They have a bit more selection on the menu and stay open a little later than other local shops. A very popular place that tends to be busy, and you can decide if that's a plus or not. Definitely a good choice for eats and coffee drinks.

Sweet coffee shop. I love finding a great coffee shop. The coffee was really good. We did get lattes with flavors and couldn't taste the flavor but honestly I'd rather that than be overwhelmed with flavor like some places. The scones were amazing. My husband got a cinnamon roll and it was kinda cold and dry..should have asked them to heat it up a tad. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stop and the I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

My wife and I come to Dubuque every year for a brewfest, and we stopped here for breakfast on our most recent trip. What a cute place! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with lots of natural light and exposed brick. Service was very friendly and the food and coffee drinks were delicious. I think we found our new go-to spot!

Absolutely incredible. Beautiful spacious natural space. The vibe is perfect for a coffeehouse! The menu is legit, with variety and options, the staff were genuine, kind, and very quick with service, for food, drinks and cleaning tables. Their latte and keto bowl are worth multiple trips back! You won't be upset giving Charlotte's a try!

Charlotte's Coffee House is the best coffee house in Dubuque, Iowa! There are others and I have been to most of them but Charlotte's is consistently the best coffee, pastries / food, service, and atmosphere. Sit inside or outside if you please - the staff will bring your order to you. There is street parking in front of their location or on the side street. Get over to Charlotte's Coffee House for your caffeine fix!

Welcoming coffee house! We were kindly greeted right away when we entered the door, and the service was very quick. Charlotte's is very spacious, and extremely clean. Love to all the different places for seating. Got two coffees to go, a cold brew, and a white chocolate mocha. The kind barista was able to make a white chocolate mocha even though it wasn't listed on the menu. Delicious.

Great coffee and even better baked goods. The scones and banana bread are fantastic. This place is crowded on the weekends and it’s understandable considering how much better they are than the chains.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops I've ever been too. Food is great. Coffee drinks were outstanding. The atmosphere is so warm, homey and welcoming. We live outside Chicago and went here for breakfast both days during our visit in Dubuque. The strawberry matcha drink was one of the best warm coffee drinks I've ever had (I did add some espresso shots lol). Had the acai bowl - yum! Shared a scone, tried the breakfast burrito and quesadilla. All good.

Very cute and fun shop. I love that it’s in an old house. Very rustic and inviting. I love the play on candy bar lattes. The food menu is really a step up from the rest offering breakfast burritos and paninis.

Incredible atmosphere and unique building. They were incredibly busy, but service was still very fast for a mid to late morning Sunday. Great job Charlotte team!

Highly recommend the Sausage Burrito!

Really good spot in a beautiful town. To be honest we only took tea and a coastada coffee. Both were good! Tea came with some chocolate coated coffee beans ( nice surprise! ). Host was very patient with us and the technology they use to figure out your table number etc is something other establishments can learn from. Ambience is great. Must visit !

Very charming Cafe. We visited while on vacation and it was affordable. We only paid $26 for 6 drinks and a snickerdoodle.that would have been $50 in Dallas at least. Parking is on the street in front. They also have a small patio out front.

Great little place! Breakfast burritos is bigger than expected- 😋 delicious! Lemon blueberry muffin is fabulous. System for delivery of food is disorganized but they are attentive and get the job done!!
