Walmart Supercenter

It’s located far enough from I-80 to not be highly trafficked, but not too far to be inconvenient if you really need a Walmart Supercenter. Atlantic, Iowa is a rural town with a population under 7,500 people. I there are a few fast food and sit-down restaurants, but don’t expect to find them open very late. This is not a 24/7 kind of town.

Very friendly staff. Overnight truck parking which in this storm is a blessing. All in all one of my favorite walmarts

Store was clean, well stocked, and employee that helped us was knowledgeable & helpful.

Ordered 4 Chineese food dinners. The gentleman helping me was extremely helpful & nice. Sesame chicken was delicious.

Rearranging store, seems like a good new floor plan. This store was well stocked and products easy to find. Like how they have set up their pick up to the west side of the building. Leaving parking for customers so they don't have to go out of the way to get in building. Shenandoah could learn a thing or two about parking. Elderly without handicap stickers have to walk what seems like a mile in Shenandoah so thanks Atlantic for caring!
Seemed better organized than most Walmarts. Also liked the new snack section at the front of the store. Moved the pet section to the back near the groceries. There were 3 open checkouts for those wanting to use them over the self checkouts.

Had to grab just a few things and was able to do so quickly. In and out in no time. The only glitch was the machine ran out of paper so did not get a receipt. Which some of the things were going to be consumed before we even got home.😋

Auto Service Center
We experienced a flat tire late on a Saturday night. Sunday morning, the crew in the Auto center took our car in, inspected the rim, replace the tire and sent us on our way in less than 30 minutes. Friendly staff, expert service, and good advice on options.

Pretty easy to get turned around out back and park my Bull Hauler - this was pretty late close to their shut down but the guy was still super cool and quick to bring my order out

The deli staff deserves a shout out. They're always quick and attentive and the food is always good.

Cleanest, friendliest Walmart I've ever been to and I travel a lot. They go above and beyond... great customer service.

Most check outs are automated but still a good place to find almost anything. Lots of good winter sales

I enjoy this walmart. Its safe, convenient and clean. Good prices and nice folks overall. I really like how everyone is friendly and i enjoy how spacious and open it is. This walmart has great clearances and sales. I spend way too much on practical stuff that is clearance and useful around anywhere. People can definitely rack up on good stuff in this walmart. Its not ghetto or locked down. You forget your in walmart here.

I had a great experience shopping here September 20,2020. Was able to find all the things I needed. Staff were helpful attentive and not rude. The only thing that I have found bad is they don't always have enough check out clerks on weekends. Which make it a long wait to get your things bought. I have shopped there for years. I have worked in previous jobs in the past with certain employees who have worked there and been friends with a few. But it has never caused problems with professionalism on staffs part or mine. A very nice place to to business.

Pay me more cashiers or people on busy days but other than that it was very good mrs. Jennings have a nice day

It's a Walmart! You kinda get what you expect from a small town Walmart. Pretty decent inventory nice people, great friendly staff. Very convent location. The potato salad is good hella good. Auto service was great and no wait when I went around 2 on a Sunday.

Pulled in Atlantic Iowa automotive center 15 minutes before they closed with a trailer that had 4 ruined tires. They stayed for us and got them replaced for the 800 miles we had ahead of us to get home. Bless all in the service area.

This Walmart has pretty nice employees, but today I was checking out at the register and the employee named Liz was super nice and kind. She is a person who loves doing her job and making her customers feel very comfortable. I was having such a bad day but her kindness made my day 100 percent better. I wish there were more people like her in the world. She really did brighten my day.
