Like the food. Love the atmosphere. Waitress who served us (she had worked there 30 years) was fast and very friendly. I hope I can eat there again sometime.

My daughters and I had dinner here the other night for the first time and we absolutely loved it. Our poor waitress was the only one waiting and serving tables as well as taking care of any pickup orders. She was polite, helpful and very welcoming. It was a Monday evening and they were busy. The food was excellent! We had a bacon cheeseburger, a breaded chicken sandwich with slim onion rings and bbq sauce and shrimp. For our dessert, we chose malts and they hit the spot! For us three all together with tip and all, it was $48. The diner itself is quite dated but it actually gave it more of a "homey" feel to me. Definitely will come back! Thanks!

The most amazing staff!! Came in at 5 minutes to close and they happily told us to come on it!!! Food was wonderful and you can’t beat the price!! The staff still there at closing were amazing!!!! Can’t thank you enough!! Hubby says “that’s a damn good burger!!!”

This is a nice little neighborhood diner. Good food and good service… what else can you ask for.

Their sweet potatoes fries and dipping sauce were great together! Everyone had a great sense of humor and all was great!!

Susan was our fantastic server!!! Made a bad day turn around with quick and hilarious wit. My wife and I had the hot beef sandwich. So much food needed a box. Filling and great cost as well. We are from out of town and wanted lunch before heading home. Highly recommend.

The food they serve is truly delicious. Reminds me of great home cooking. Everyone works so hard there. Great menu. The vast array of ice cream desserts is to die for. Very reasonably priced food. 5 stars!

This was such a lovely little place. The wait staff was so sweet and ready to make my experience great. This seems like the favorite place for all the locals, and I can see why it is! The strawberry shake was also delicious with a lot of real strawberry in it!

Excellent little diner! We drove to Atlantic for the afternoon to visit a few shops and found this after Googling restaurants on Atlantic. My family and I are SO glad we ended up here! It's a clean little place in what appears to be in an old gas station. The service was excellent, as our waitress and ALL of the staff were sure to help - whether it was checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, to making sure the food was what we'd expected, clearing up dirty plates, etc. Everyone was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful! The food was excellent (I'd highly recommend the corn nuggets, breaded loin, and battered fries). We we're all full after lunch, but were sure to make room for some ice cream. We had an Andes mint "tornado" and a Twix "tornado" as well - both were great! We also ordered a piece of cherry pie and a piece of caramel apple pie (both homemade!) to go. Haven't had them yet, but I'm sure they will not disappoint! We'll definitely be back next time we are in town!

Great food, affordable prices. Ice cream is amazing. Has that hometown dinner look and feel to it. Family ran business. The owners of the place are great people. Cant go wrong supporting a local family owned business.

Garrett is top notch. Great service. Breakfast until 2 pm on Sundays? Ill take that every weekend. Called ahead and was seated as soon as we walked in the door. Biscuits and gravy is fantastic. Eggs cooked perfectly. Great place to grab a bite. Pricing is easy on the wallet too!! Highly recommend!!

A classic diner atmosphere upon entering with a TV on lower volume going. When I went it was a seat yourself, could be different if it's really busy. The interior was pretty clean, the restroom was actually pleasant which was awesome. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with an extra pattie and a tornado ice cream. Hamburger was nice and juicy without being overly so. I think in this would be a good place to eat for anyone coming to or living in Atlantic.

Super good food! Very reasonably priced, I was surprised for a little diner! I wasn't there to rate the waitress/waiter I was there to enjoy a nice meal with my husband, and that's definitely what we got! I had the chicken sandwich and wow the chicken just melted in my mouth it was excellent! My husband got the BLT it was superb too! The fry's were to die for, very tasty! We were there during a busy hour so we had to wait a little while to get our food, but it was worth it! Want to take my family to West Side Diner and would definitely recommend it to a friend!

JUST ate there on a trip through Iowa back to Missouri. Checked reviews & Trip Advisor. No lie, this place could appear to some "sketchy " from the outside...but please stop!! Food, atmosphere & our waitress were all great!!
