Rock Island Inn & Suites

My husband and I stayed here for work and we loved it. The front desk was very helpful after some confusion, and the rooms were very clean. It is on the edge of town which was perfect, and was very quiet. We felt at home here all week and would recommend it to anybody coming through town.

Stayed there due to water issue at my house. Room was great, hot breakfast was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend fir travelers coming through Atlantic.

We stopped here on our way home from Utah to Michigan very late. The lady checking us in was so nice and even helped us carry our bags. They have complimentary rollaway beds, cribs, fans, etc. The room and bathroom were insanely clean & beds crazy comfortable (the sheets, omg). Oh! And so quiet! We've stayed in 6 hotels this road trip and this was by far the best find at the cheapest price. You will love your stay here.

The room and bathroom were clean, with nice bedding. The water pressure in the shower is the best I’ve experienced in a hotel. The breakfast selection was good, with make your own waffles as an option. Everything is clean and sanitary. Staff was friendly and attentive at breakfast. 2 minutes from an awesome Mexican restaurant (Rancho Grande). Will definitely stop here again on our way through Iowa.

We've stayed here numerous times and keep coming back. Rooms are clean and kept up well with nice towels and toiletries. You can tell the owners care and are very welcoming. They have a good hot breakfast and they make sure they don't run out. Thanks again for a nice stay and see you next time!

Our stay here was really pleasant. Check in was super easy and the woman working the front desk was wonderful. When we got to our room, which had a fold out bed that needed sheets, we called down and they were ready & waiting. (We have stayed at others & NEVER had service that quick.)

Room was a comfortable temp, yet easy to adjust. The beds were very comfortable, and didn't have any down bedding, which was wonderful (allergies). The tv channel selection was larger than any other hotel I can remember having in the last 10+ years. This pleased the kiddo for having their fav cartoon.

The morning breakfast was good too. Personally I wasn't expecting more than cereals, breads and maybe a waffle. While those were there, also was BnG, eggs, & sausage. Plus the make your own waffle 🧇 station had regular and cinnamon waffle mixes. Checkout at 11 came a little early, as our event wasn't until later, but overall this was a great place to stay.

Beautiful rooms. Very clean and well appointed with lots of little extras. The owners who ran the front desk were enjoyable and friendly. The suite (117) was very clean and the hot tub came in very handy for sore bones. Brand new facility very nice. By far the best motel in Atlantic. If you stop by say hi to Rose the owner for me. Sweet nice woman. Absolutely no complaints.

We stayed here for the first time this past weekend and will definitely stay here again. The hotel was very nice and clean, and (secure) access to your room for getting your luggage inside was very easy with entrances at either end. Our room was at the very end of the hotel on the ground floor - with an infant staying in a hotel for her first time, we were a little nervous being by the entrance/stairs/parking.. but we never heard a thing! Check-in was easy - we were even able to call ahead and request checking in a little earlier to get in and settled before our daughter's nap. The lady at the desk was very nice.

We booked the king size bed with jacuzzi room, giving us plenty of space for our pack n play and daughter to play as the room was quite spacious. The bed was truly king sized (not a queen trying to pass as a king) and was a pillow top. I normally prefer a firm bed, but I thought the bed was very comfortable. There was a good sized mini fridge and microwave. The water pressure in the shower was amazing - my husband said he thought shampoo from his high school years got blasted out of his hair even. The showerhead was also adjustable with different modes, which was nice. The tub was clean and came with an optional bath mat to use, which was great for giving our daughter a bath. I honestly cannot emphasize enough how clean the hotel was - I had brought a sheet to lay on the floor to let her crawl around on and everything seemed so clean, I actually just let her crawl on the floor.

It felt as though the owners of the hotel truly want you to have a great stay. A sign in the room noted that the hotel actually has extra roll away beds and pack n plays. They also provided several pillows in the room, but noted they had several other kinds (thick/thin, soft/firm) to choose from if you were wanting something else.

Breakfast was good with a lot of options - waffle maker, variety of instant oatmeal, some pastries, orange/apple juice, yogurt in several flavors, boiled eggs, 2% milk, cereal (raisin bran, tootie frooties and Malt-O-Meals version of honey nut cheerios), bread for toast, butter, peanut butter, honey. They also had two hot items which were omelets with cheese and sausage links.

Great service and nice amenities. Clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious food options with continental breakfast.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room and the lobby was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. A nice breakfast. If traveling through the area we would definitely stay again.

WOW!! me and my boyfriend were traveling to the Villisca house for a tour and decided to stay the night in Atlantic Iowa here in the King Jacuzzi Suite! IT WAS AWESOME! Great price! Friendly staff! Lovely delicious breakfast of a variety of warm and cold items! Breakfast burritos, sausage links, eggs, muffins, cereals, yogurts, and a waffle maker!!! The pictures of the room online are exactly what the room looks like! Very clean too! Glad we stayed and if we are ever this way again we will be coming back! Thank you again!

Clean, quiet rooms and very comfy beds! Excellent hotel staff whom provided great customer service. Breakfast was delicious and there was a different hot breakfast item each of the two mornings that we stayed.

Reserved the Queen Suite! So very roomy, even had a queen size Murphy bed. Also had a full size fridge, microwave, kitchen sink, couch, easy chair, and a bar with stools. Good breakfast for the next morning was provided. Bringing in a service dog was a first time for the front desk but got it all straightened out in the end. Don't forget to check out the notebook in the room. Full of great information about the area.

I got a suite that had a queen bed, a Murphy queen bed, and a pullout couch. the room was quite large and in great condition. everything was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was delicious. Also the shower head was high enough that I did not have to stoop to wash my hair.

This hotel has extremely comfortable beds and the staff is always helpful and friendly. It is easy to get to on the west side of Atlantic just off highway 6. The rooms are well insulated but I could still hear some road noise at times. I do an annual week long event in Atlantic in the Spring and always request that I stay at Boulders. I would recommend it to anyone needing a comfortable place to stay for any length of time.

The rooms were great. Comfy beds and had everything you expect in a quality hotel. Not the largest hotel you will find but an excellent quality to it. The breakfast in the morning was yummy amd the staff was polite. Would stay again.

My friend reserved a room here so we could attend a funeral, and we were very pleased with this hotel room. It's on the outskirts of town, but just a few short minutes away from anywhere. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable.

We were visiting friends in the area, two years ago and stayed at Boulders. We enjoyed our stay so much we are back again. We want to commend you on the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of all the staff. We will be staying again in the future.

I have been traveling for 24 years and this hotel was a pleasant surprise. In my opinion it ranks equal to the top franchise hotels in the USA.
It has superior cleanliness, accommodations are modern and up to date, and very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
