Being from Texas, I am very picky when it comes to good tacos. This place hit it out of the park! Their horchata was great and their prices were reasonable.

The food is very good. Ordering for the first time customer can be a little confusing, but they are very patient. Service was great. Food is the best Latino food in Storm Lake and the drinks are really good too. Recommend the pineapple drink and the Ceviche!

Brought my girl and a vietnam vet both first timers. This my first time at Storm lake location. Fantastic food and fast pace people, friendly staff, even had pic of president Obama and store owner in location

Absolutely the best Mexican food I've ever had. The seasoning on the carnitas was fantastic, like nothing I've ever tasted before. Next time I go back to Storm Lake I'm going to take a huge cooler and order one of everything they make to take home and try with my family. It's seriously that good! And really inexpensive, it looked too cheap on the menu so I ordered two dinners (Chile relleno and burrito dinner) but they were full size dinner plates, see photo. I had way too much food so I took some home to my wife the next day. She said we should drive 4 hours back to Storm Lake just to get some more for lunch :)

Quick place, order at a counter and then take your seat after you get your food. Food was cheap and delicious.

Legend brought me here. The Pastor tacos kept my soul. I had the fortunate luck of being able to try the carnitas quesadilla. I'll most certainly be back again for different types of quesadillas probably different types of tacos as well really like both of them. I'll probably go with my girlfriend. Who did introduce me to the place. Then I brought her food to where she worked at from here after having to move because a cop was parked right in front of me and I felt weird about wearing my "Legalize Meth" shirt in front of him so I went around the block but still got awkward looks but then later on he ended up coming into the place where I was going to be anyway so I might as well just have went in in the first place. My girlfriend had the torta. She really enjoyed it but she left the second half at work.

Update: She's now my fianceé. And we've been to LaJua's soooo many more times now.

What a great find. Some of most authentic, delicious Mexican food I recall. Fabulous selection of offbeat proteins for your Taco. Crazy generous value, so tip well. Hidden gem.

The chorizo was very good in the tostada.
The green chile sauce was amazing red salsa is got and bitey and yummy.

REAL Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. Varied menu of traditional taquería options, full dinners, plus a few American staples (French fries). Wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages (Jarrita soft drinks with real sugar) and agua fresca (Jamaica, horchata, piña). Popular with the whole range of ethnicities that live in.Storm Lake.

Had a great post game meal with my daughter.

I’m from Texas where we have access to pretty good Mexican food. Food here tastes like the real deal. Some restaurants have one good thing while another makes something else really good. Everything I tasted here was so good that I was in shock from the first bite. Awesome Lengua and Buche tacos

These tacos are out of this world. My fav. Every other taco is a disappointment now. Lol

Great food and fast. Like others mentioned, ordering involves standing in line and waiting for your food to come up, so be prepared for a more fast-food style of ordering. It was GREAT though and we’ll be back next time we’re in town.

The food was delicious. My 12 year old boy said the chicken taco was the best he ever ate. My husband had the pork burrito. It was very flavorful and very large. There was a long line when we went in, but the food was served up very quickly. I had enchiladas. There was very little sauce on the enchiladas, but they were extremely flavorful and the chicken was moist. The seating was diner style- Average. The whole experience left us satisfied and full. We will eat there again on our next trip.

Will always be my all time favorite food. I go well out of my way to eat here often.
