My family and I have always had a wonderful experience with CrawDaddy Outdoors.

My wife and I recently rented a kayak for a very reasonable rate and jumped onto the Cedar as a 2 hour getaway. Had a great time and CrawDaddy Outdoors made it so easy that we can't wait to get out there again.

We visited Crawdaddy’s in preparation for a Boundary Waters trip we are taking. The friendly expertise by the new owner Jamie and his wife helped immeasurably. They offered advice, camping recommendations, and their own deep base of experience. Excellent selection, more than fair prices, and locally owned. When we left, we were even more excited about our adventure. Crawdaddy’s will be our new outfitter going forward!

What a wonderful surprise! We’re so happy we went inside this incredible store with great service and even better selection. They have a wide variety of our favorite brands for reasonable prices. We enjoyed exploring Waverly today. We’ll definitely be back to visit this shop!

this is the best paddle i have ever been in. they carry any equipment that a serious kayaker or paddler could need. staff was friendly and sociable and very knowledgeable on the stuff that they were selling.

Thank you to the gentleman who went above and beyond to find an Iowa paper map for me! I failed to ask his name, but running to the Chamber of Commerce to see if there was one and then finding one in the store files, was Iowa nice!! I only made one purchase at the store but sure enjoyed browsing the three levels.

Great place for any camping, kayaking or outdoor needs. Very friendly staff that were able to answer any questions we had. Had a little bit of everything. They didn't happen to have any kayaks we were interested in, but that's not their fault. The kayak industry in the area has exploded this summer and everyone is sold out of kayaks. Will def go back again to check their stuff out in the future.

I love CrawDaddy Outdoors. We come here to get our camping and kayak gear. They have a big selection and it is great that I am able to shop locally as well. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I am really happy with my life jacket and camping supplies that I purchased!

Crawdaddy’s is the most amazing outdoor store we have in the Cedar Valley especially if it involves kayaking! They have fantastic quality outdoor clothing and gear. If you want a place with incredible knowledgeable staff or to take a trip guided by the Crawdaddy staff, this is your place!

I reccomend CrawDaddy Outdoors to anyone looking for outdoor gear in the Cedar Valley area. I stopped in to purchase some Christmas presents last month and was very impressed by the staff and product selection. The gentleman helping me was more than willing to answer any questions I had and had great product reccomendations! He even stayed a few minutes past close to make sure I had gotten everything on my list!

This is one of the best outdoors store with high quality products (emphasis on clothing, camping, paddling, winter gear) and extremely knowledgeable and professional staff. Locally owned, they have a vested interest in the community and are always a leading sponsor for outdoor activities such as swimming, paddling, trail running, camping, etc. Clothing is top notch, not your big box experience.

None better, have bought 2 Kayaks, numerous backpacks, camping stuff, etc. Everyone is very helpful, very passionate and knowledgeable about everything they sell, and have tons of patience to make sure you get exactly what you need. They also go out of their way for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Have dealt with them for a lot of years, one of my favorite places to go!

Notheast Iowa is lucky to have such a great store. Paddling, hiking, backpacking, camping, rock climbing, paddle board rentals, kayak rentals, and more. Great, knowledgeable staff and a good selection of quality brands. Two thumbs up!

Mark was an awesome help! Gave great advice, knew the product lines inside and out, and shared personal experiences. The store has excellent quality merchandise and a great variety.

Well I drove up from Cedar Rapids this morning and what a great place wish I'd have spent a little more time looking around. I went to look at kayaks and the employee who helped me Mark I believe answered all my questions and I ended up buying a Jackson coosa from them and cant wait to get it on the water and check it out I didnt look at all the stuff they had got caught up in the fact they actually had a good selection of the kayaks I was interested in but seem like they would have a good assortment of what ever your out door desire could be.

Best equipment at a great price. These people don’t just sell products, they know and use them too. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable of their products.

Love this place I've bought a few watercraft from them most recently an old town 106 kayak which I just ran the seat over the other day I have a trip this weekend and the replacement hasn't showed up yet they sold me one off a display model today and saved my trip thanks again!!

Friendly staff. Great selection of paddle sports equipment. Tons of kayaks, both sit in and sit on tops. Prices seem reasonable.
