Holiday Inn Dubuque/Galena, an IHG Hotel

Had a great experience kids eat free if you stay in the hotel at the restaurant downstairs the pool was clean and fun. Our waitress was super nice. Her name is Amber and the manager. Also at the restaurant was super helpful. Definitely coming back.

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights. The room was a little dusty in the corners but clean enough for us. The girl at the front desk was helpful and friendly. I didn't catch her name. She has blond curly hair. We ate breakfast in the dinning room. Our waitress was friendly and nice. She was on top of things. I believer her name was Heather or Hailey. We will be back. Thank you!

We had a great stay! The guy that drove the shuttle service was extremely nice. It was perfect for our show at the casino.

I visited my kid during Christmas. The room was fantastic clean smelled very good and the location was great. I’ll visit again when I return. And at check out the nice lady gave me a Christmas cookie.

We are here till Monday morning but as always we appreciate the shuttle service and driver Jeff he ran til 2 am for us his General Manager Tina said it was ok Thanks Jeff and Tina

Very nice but I'm basic so I didn't use much offered. I like the gym for basic workouts. I love the inside and how it's decorated. My room it's always nice as well and clean.

For once a hotel where the air conditioner does not make so much noise going on and off you can't sleep. Comfortable bed, view from the room was of a rooftop full of equipment, but that did not matter to us. Really perfectly situated to walk to dinner. We a couple blocks to the Wicked Dame wine bar which was awesome, followed by dinner at Pepper Sprout - also an excellent choice.

We came in about 10pm and the man at the front desk was very nice to us, as we got got our room it was very clean and cozy to sleep in. The bar was still open and they had some music going on, going in and getting a drink, the bartender was so very sweet to me. There is enough parking for anyone to come in at any time. Great place to stay and if I come on up again, I'd like to stay here once more.

We had the absolute best experience at the Holiday Inn Dubuque, it’s all thanks to Laura Stanton Kloft. We travel all over the country for dog sporting events. Laura went absolutely above and beyond for all the dogs competing at the DockDogs World Championship. She was making sure every dog had a treat, she even brought baby carrots for our special diet dogs. My pup Remington was pulling me to the front desk all week searching for his new friend Laura. She is a true gem, we need more people like her. Remington misses her already.

Very good location, impressed with the cleanliness of not only the rooms but the hotel in its entirety. If u plan on using the shuttle service on a concert night allow urself plenty of time, we ended up taking a taxi.

Jeff said when I almost fell off the shuttle and he caught me I said thanks his funny response was nobody gets hurt on the shuttle on his shift

Jeff was absolutely awesome for the shuttle and the building security. He drove us to the casino always opening and closing the door for us very polite and friendly saying your chariot awaits 😍 me and my girlfriend's will definitely be back and ask for Jeff only

Outstanding employees and service at a prime Downtown location. Barb and Maggie at the front desk are the best around with a great attitude and professionalism. Jason in Food and Beverage has been a mainstay for many years

Great location, prices are a bit high on the rooms and in the bar/restaurant but it's clean and in a great location and staff has always been very friendly. Also love the covered parking lot.

My son and daughter-in-law got married this past weekend and I was so impressed with the entire wedding banquet staff. The catering sales manager, Shelby Siderewicz went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. We do not have one complaint about the wedding reception experience. The food was amazing, the staff was over the top accommodating and the bartenders, Kelly and Joe were were very fun and provided top notch service!!! I highly recommend Holiday Inn Dubuque as a wedding Venue!!!

Let me start by saying that Jeff is the best and a true Gentleman. I spend 47 weekends at your hotel and the reason I choose the hotel is for your shuttle service! Jeff always opening the door for me and when he picked me up I was extremely intoxicated and I fell back out of the door and Jeff caught me I said thanks for catching me because I was going to hit the concrete. He responded not on my shift 😍 I will definitely be back for Jeff

Great place to stay for events at 5 Flags - it is right across the street! Also easy walk to decent restaurants. Rooms are very nice and clean. Highly recommend!

Would recommend! Staff were very friendly, easy check in/out. Rooms smelt good and very clean. Hotel was cozy feeling and had guests sitting around playing cards, eating at the restaurants, etc. having a great time. They had snacks at the front that were reasonably priced (unlike most hotels). Parking for downtown wasn’t bad either.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The entire staff was so accommodating and helpful during our sray. Especially Joe and Kelly at the hotel bar were just great!! They were so friendly and entertaining. We will definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it if you come to Dubuque.

Beautiful hotel. Lots of amenities and walking distance to all downtown activities. Clean rooms and environment and nice small restaurant/bar. Was there for University of Dubuque graduation weekend. Would definitely stay there again.
