Alba Ranch LLC

A visit to Alba Ranch is like stepping into another world! You can feel the mysticism of this magical place the minute you step out of your car and into a world of lavender, herbs and fairies. There is power here. I came for an event and was treated to a tour and the singing bowls, a lovely sound that baffles description-you simply must experience it. Oils and hydrosols are top quality and the wool is handmade from Melissa’s own goats. Highly recommend!

I have enjoyed many aspects of what Alba Ranch has to offer.
The Lavender Fields have become an amazing transformation from woods to beautifully designed terraces that will be beautiful to walk through and pick some of the many different varieties of lavender that are planted there.
The Stone Circle and many different resting spots offer a peaceful respite from daily stresses and if you are lucky you will catch Melisa playing her handpan or crystal bowls that adds to the quiet ambiance. The goats just might sing along!
The Fiber Studio holds many wonderful selections for the spinner or weaver that wants to create their own work of art, or there are scarves shawls and yarn have been designed with comfort and serviceability in mind. All in all, Alba Ranch is an experience not to be missed.

I have known Melisa and Charlie for a very, long and lovely time! I purchased my very first goat from her and she was a mighty great milker! I have visited Alba Ranch many times, stopped by for walks in the woods and hearing Melisa's sage advice about everything from goats and dogs to spinning and weaving, from vegetables and fruits that she grows to her lovely passion for lavenders.
Charlie pulls alot of weight at Alba Ranch, too. From trails in the woods to a sauna he is the engineer of the outfit. What he has done with the lavender walk way is a marvel to behold and the lavenders are incredible

I love my Bliss Textured Scarf. Bliss is a handspun textured yarn, textured art yarn, and art yarn made of Mohair, various fine wools, silk, and metallic threads. I requested a pair of hand/arm warmers to match Bliss. Beautiful Wearable Art that is stunning, and I get comments every time I wear it when it is cold.

Since I live in Texas, I don’t have as much cold weather. But when I do, I stay warm!!
