Shelburne Camping Area

We enjoyed our stay here at Shelburne. The washroom facilities were some of the nicest we've seen, very clean. WiFI and Cable worked very well.

The site is not too far from the highway so you can hear a slight bit of traffic noise but we still found it quiet enough.

Items like ice and wood are available even after hours on the honour system. You just pay when the office is open.

Camped in my little tent here for a weekend wedding and it was overall a very nice experience. It was very quiet at night which was the best thing about it. Despite being close to Rt. 7, you can’t hear the traffic at all and though there must be train tracks somewhere nearby (I heard one train), they’re not running at crazy times so all I heard was peeping frogs and the breeze through the trees. Very pleasant.

The bathrooms were very clean, smelled good, not weirdly damp like some campgrounds, even when there were folks taking showers. There was great hot water, plenty of hand soap, and no spiders!!!

Overall a nice place to throw up a tent to sleep in before going exploring out during the day. Lots of nearby food options and attractions.

Great location, clean bathroom and laundry swimming pool. Staff super friendly and helpful. Sites are easy to get in. A little narrow on some sites. Close to bike paths, Burlington activities, red rock park. Only minor complaint - need 1 or two more washers and dryers. Cabins look cute. Would recommend. Pictures show variety of camp site width.

We had a great stay at the campground. Staff were incredibly friendly. Grounds were well maintained and lots are quite private. Bathrooms were very clean. Pool was great, super clean. Short drive to Burlington. Went to concert at Shelburne Museum which was just a short drive. Would stay again and recommend.

My daughter and I recently attended a concert in Burlington and needed a place to sleep for the night. I wish we'd stayed another night so that we could fully enjoy this little campground. The staff was helpful and friendly, the facilities were clean and the campsites were lovely. Everyone around us was quiet and respectful- I woke up to the sound songbirds singing. Can't ask for much more than that.

Wonderful campground! Came up for a 2 day trip and had an amazing time. Campsite was perfect; clean bathrooms, hot showers and friendly staff! Will definitely come here again if I’m in the area!

Homey tiny house complete with a quilt at the foot of the bed. Great location! It was not far to the places we wanted to visit. Office staff was able give great recommendations for local eateries - since I was committed to not using the kitchen 😇.

Stayed in a kitchenette. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was a bedroom, living room with futon, kitchen and bathroom. Staff was helpful. Will definitely stay again!

We love this campground! This is the third year running my wife and I have stayed here during mid-May and we'll be coming back for sure next year. The month of May is a little early, I know, but for us it's ideal. We feel we have the campground to ourselves. The trees and flowers are just opening up and it's very quiet and peaceful. Flowers are planted all around and they add a personal touch. The family and staff are super friendly. I can't say enough about this campground!

Everyone there is friendly and they take pride in caring for the facility. Their prices are EXTREMELY reasonable!

The campground was quiet and safe. All areas are clean as can be and the bathrooms & showers were spotless!

Shelburne Camping Area is close enough to all of the major attractions but not too close where one can't "get away" from the crowds!

It has set the standard in quality and price whenever I am comparing other campgrounds

Man this place was perfect. The people are so friendly the location was a great neutral point to travel from during the day. Great location for so many activities aswell. Yhe facilities were so clean and smelled amazing everyday. They even have laundry machines! The staff was so down to earth and welcoming which is what we were looking for. We will return for sure. I wish they had seasonal that's how much we enjoyed it!

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxed campground, this is it! Great location! Even though it is located right of Route 7, we never heard any noise from the traffic. A very short drive to Lake Champlain, hiking trails, restaurants, shopping and local breweries. So much to do within a 10 min drive. While we didn't use the pool, it looked very clean and tidy. Wifi and cable were great! Prices were very reasonable. Never had an issue the entire stay. We will DEF be back again!! Thanks so much for the relaxing stay.

No complaints. Nice and quiet with 110v plug in and wifi. Free hot showers. Everything this campervan dude needed.

Very convenient to Shelburne Museum. Nice, rustic campground. Very, very clean. Friendly staff. Will be making improvement to showers to make handicapped accessable soon. I'd go back.

Super accommodating and cordial staff. Web site is great even for same day needs! I’ve available 24/7. Bathrooms were very clean and everything worked as expected. Sites all seemed to have some privacy screening. Just a bit of highway noise, nothing to keep you awake though, and not at all in control of that! Proximity to all the area has to offer far outweighs the little bit of noise that there was. Fellow campers there very respectful too! All around awesome!

Had the pleasure of staying here for the weekend. A very friendly and welcoming area. The bathrooms and showers were well maintained and very clean. I had inquired about an extended check-out time and they met my needs and more! A lot to do nearby, overall a great camping experience. Definitely happy to have stayed here and will absolutely be back!

Such a great place to stay during my visit! Quiet and secluded yet so close to Burlington! The owners are very helpful/accommodating. Clean bathrooms, nice grounds, lots of trees and walking paths. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay there again when I’m back in Vermont!

Some of these negative reviews are ridiculous. It's rustic and real, FAR from "run down". Makes me feel like a kid at summer camp again.
I've spent a lot of time here (full time RVer) and the staff has always been polite, helpful, and knowledgeable if I had an issue with the camper. It's more than just business to them.
One thing I LOVE is that they keep trees between sites which allows for a little privacy and helps avoid others setting up their stuff on your site which has happened to me at other places. I've only had good experiences with other campers as well. Also, FREE INTERNET!
Sometimes it's hard to do laundry but there's a clean laundromat about a mile away that's near shops, you can do your grocery shopping and get things from the hardware store while the laundry is going.

We are spending a few days trying to get in visits to folks we haven’t seen in a year.
Very friendly, laced back country feel with beautiful flower gardens strategically placed throughout the campground!
Only thing I can see needing any improvement would be laundry facilities. One washer and one dryer and the Oder wasn’t pleasant. But everything else was splendid. If anyone is going through Shelburne, it’s a great place to rest up. Wonderful folks….
