Such a wonderful day trip! Beautiful trails and so educational! We got to milk a cow, make a spun wool bracelet and ate some darned good chocolate chip cookies. Family fun at its finest!

I really enjoyed the trip here. The family farm is full of fun. I petted 2 months old sheep and milked a 12 years old cow! The cheese making tour is fun too (not free but totally worths the tickets. Reservation required). The tour not just explained the cheese making process but also showcases the milking process in a dairy barn! Eye opening experience! I enjoyed every minute of the trip and the visit to the Farm Barn!

If you're at shelburne farms, definitely stop by and see the farm animals (if you're an animal person). There's cows, goats, donkeys, pigs, etc. Great spot to bring young ones or just walking around.

Amazing place! Perfect for the kids too. Make sure you get their Olive Ciabatta bread from their bakery. We ate the entire thing on our walk back to our car. Lol

The building is awe inspiring. They have a solid lineup of farm animals too. I mostly come to climb on hay bales, which are some of the finest in the state of Vermont. There are tons of trails suitable for a slightly too long family walk. Also there are beaches with such good skipping rocks, that any old hag could get a triple or quadruple!

Better than I expected! Went during covid and the cookie store was not fully open and only a few flavors were available, but still enjoyed! Several trails to walk but follow the map, signs don't point in correct direction. Wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes and make sure phone is charged, great views for pictures.

If you are around Burlington, Vermont, do visit this beautiful farm! Everything about it is so serene. We took the 1.5 hr guided tour, something that I'd highly recommend. Make sure to eat at the Farm cart at the last stop. Their food is so fresh and sumptuous!

Lots of farm animals to watch, berries to pick, cheese making, wood working, a bakery, hiking, and then there's the Shelburne Inn at the end of one of the trails to grab something to eat and drink (with amazing views of the lake).

The store was open at the entrance gate (most other buildings were closed for winter) with cute local items and knowledgable personable staff. We were able to drive the grounds despite the snow and sight see while weather was manageble!

Brilliant place to bring family of all ages! Interact with farm animals, walking trails & hikes. Farm Cart food cart in summer season. Classes, programs & events through out the year. Cheesemaking tours and samples. Maple sugaring. Great for school trips & tourists.

This is a great activity for kids from 2 to 90. On the day we were there they had a cow and two cabs, goats, sheep, and burrows you could get close to. They're plenty of knowledgeable folks around to answer any questions. It's in the same complex with a cheese making shop, and the bakery. On the day we were there, they had their own version of a food truck out on the lawn. You have to park at the entry gate, but you can take the tractor ride out to the farm Barn. If you want to walk, it's a level 15-minute walk.

The wonderful people at Shelburne Farms have members of our refugee community a wonderful tour! This is a great destination for families. It is a working farm complete with cheese making displays, animals, hiking trails, a bakery, an inn and restaurant, and so much more!!!

An awesome first experience with the little one. Donations are accepted for entry but not required which we did. After all it is better than paying to see animals at the fair that are most likely way more stressed.
