For all their beauty, the Adirondacks can be a rough place to shop. "Stocking up" can mean an hour or so drive. This little market has enough to keep you going, and they don't gouge on price. Not only are their meats excellent (and they will cut to order), but they have things you wouldn't expect, like fresh asparagus and Brussels sprouts. One time I stopped over, they had the nicest new red potatoes for a bargain, which went well with our choice of a steak and a few ears of local sweet corn. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Great place.

OMG what a very unassuming market inside.
The inside is pleasantly old school. The employees are very engaging and pleasant. We ordered a 12" grinder. They even cook
their own roast beef. Needless to say we ordered a roast beef sub. SPECTACULAR.
We bought some fresh and I mean FRESH
ground beef. What a treat. The beef in the case was unbelievable. Treat yourself.

Local place to shop for foods. Incredibly excellent hand made variety of sandwiches they make to your order on hard rolls they bake. I will get a sandwich on a wheat hard roll with salami, muenster cheese, mayo, oil & vinegar dressing, spicey mustard, lettuce & tomato with onion. Excellent bakery on site. Well worth a stop. About four miles from dock for ferry from Essex NY to Charlotte VT.

Great store. Wonderful deli and meat market.prices can be a bit higher, but it's a small town store.
