I only got to see a little but I liked what I saw. The people seemed nice. The hall next door seemed nice. The chapel was beautiful. The grounds were well kept. I didn't get to see a service though.

This is such an extraordinary church. As one of the first churches in the area, it is a historical gem. You can visit and look at the extraordinary art work and stained glass. The people and priest are very welcoming. I encourage a local pilgrimage to check it out. Also make sure to visit the cemetery. The priest burial place is very powerful and thought provoking.

When contemplating moving to Wichita, we decided to go to several churches, and St Mark’s felt like home. It is a beautiful, old church that engulfs you in the spirit and leaves you in awe of the ornate details of the church.

I go out of my way to see beautiful old Catholic churches, and this one is a stand out. Really. Short drive from Wichita and well worth it. My group was unable to attend Mass, but this parish has a super fun bingo a couple of times per year.

Beautiful old church. I love going here to visit. My great grandfather and grandfather help transport the limestone from the old Wichita clock factory to the church site via horse and wagon.
