Tequilas | Mexican Restaurant

We had excellent food and service at Tequilas Mexican Restaurant in Valley Center! We enjoyed chips and salsa prior to our meal, and they were some of the best I've eaten. My husband ordered the beef taco and beef enchilada combo with rice and refried beans. I've never liked refried beans, but I loved theirs. I had a shrimp taco and a fish taco along with the rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious! We'll definitely be back!

The food and service at Tequilas is excellent! I've recently used them for both dine in and take out, and each time, it's been fantastic! The chips and salsa prior to the meal taste great. I typically order a small queso as well, and would highly recommend trying it if you haven't! My go to entree is the Pollo Bandido which comes smothered in their cheese dip. Wether it has been dine in or take out, the food is always hot and delicious! The waitstaff and the owners are always friendly and check in to make sure your meal turned out the way you wanted it!

Tequilas is literally my favorite go to Mexican place in the Wichita area. The food is always good, flavorful and hot! I have never had a bad meal here. The owners are always very friendly as well as the staff. If you’re not in valley center it is honestly worth the drive in my opinion. They also have specials on margaritas on Thursdays and Saturdays and they are delicious! I typically dine here once a week sometimes twice, but that’s just cause Mexican is my favorite and it’s good!

I love the fajitas alambre, quesadilla azteca, their steak tacos, al pastor tacos, and regular fajitas. Those are my typical go-to items. I do also like their burritos and other quesadilla options as well as the chimichanga. You literally can’t go wrong.

Hands down the best fajita nachos i have ever had! And i eat a LOT of nachos! The veggies were grilled to perfection, the cheese and meat were great! We stop to visit family.on our way through and they treated us to dinner tonight. We will have to stop another time! Service was great as well!

Really enjoyed it. Had options for gluten free meals.

Food and environment are great. We had a party with over 40 people with only 1 waitress which has been our only complaint. It was spotty service but she did a great job for doing it on her own.

What a welcome surprise. Hadn't been to Valley Center in ages and decided to stop in. The Tacos Al Pastor we're great but the real gem here is the salsa and pico. I'm a huge fan of cilantro in both items and the tomatoes were so fresh you could taste them. Highly recommended. Get out of Wichita for a minute, you won't be let down.

1st time there and found out it was a hidden gem!! Will go back!!

The tacos de carne asada are really great. I’ve had the chorizo queso too, also good, a bit salty but I like that

I ate a beef chimichanga. It was delicious.

Food was great and service was awesome!

I haven't tried everything on the menu but what I have tried is good. The owners are really nice and good people.

They have worked out the kinks to running their business. They are hard working family.

The salsa is very good and flavorful.

Prices may be a little bit to high but the building is a lot of overhead.

If you get a chance to check this food out, you will like it.

Great food, great drinks, and good service. We go here for our family gatherings a few times a month. Even on a Friday night they can usually seat the 9 of us fairly quickly. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. If you don't see something you are craving on the menu just ask, they are very accommodating.

The tacos Al pastor were the most authentic I have had since I moved here from Texas and the margaritas were nice and strong.

Definitely my favorite Mexican place in Wichita so far.

The peach dacaquri is 👍 👌 👍 awesome. The quesidillas are good here. There was a long wait due to a huge party but that I understand. Love Mexican food salsa and chips were good here too.

Best kept secret! My friend told me about this place. We went on a Wednesday evening and I was seriously impressed. I had the steak chimichanga and it was fried to perfection. Salsa was delicious. Service is fast. Staff is friendly and prices are very good. I am surprised to see comments it’s pricey!! Not at all . Two of us ate for $20AND we had queso on the side. I can’t go anywhere in Wichita for sit down restaurant mexican

Absolutely love this place! The food is fantastic, and the margaritas are amazing. The service is great, too! You won't find a better Mexican restaurant in the area!

We have been to Tequila's many times in the last year. Discovered it in May 2021. Great menu. Luncheon items are very. I like Huevos Rancheros, Chili Rellenos, Taco combo. The whole beans come in a bowl like soup. Tender and savory flavor. Sopapillas come as a dessert with honey, cinnamon, whipped cream, ice cream with maraschino cherry.
The salsa they serve with warmed corn chips is really good. Upon request you get their hotter salsa. It is really good. The flavor and red chili flakes is one of the reasons I like to go there. Nice burn, but great flavor.
Very nice service and care for the customer. Reasonable prices.
