Acapulco Mexican Grill

they are always so friendly when i go to pick up food. i haven’t ever sat down and ate it, i’ve always gotten carry out. the food is always fresh and that says a lot since i live 10+ minutes away, and i usually get carry out. the restaurant is always clean and well kept. the food is absolutely amazing and this restaurant is the best mexican place around :)

Second time coming to this place and it is always good. Had my food to go this time because of work load but it did not disappoint. Best place in Leavenworth for Latin food I have found. Especially being from Los Angeles and growing up with this type food.
Their red salsa is hit or miss but I assume it is because we are a Midwest town. Location does have a part in the way food is cooked and how authentic they can really be.

This place offers up a good value for the price. The food is always fresh & plentiful with great wait staff service. I had their guacamole which tasted fabulous. Love the cilantro in there. I also received plenty of chips with the guacamole. My son had burritos with rice. Plenty of food on his plate too. He said it was excellent food plus quite tasty. All in all, a great value for the price.
It is conveniently located outside Grant/Main gate to Ft Leavenworth.

I visited Acapulco while in town on Veteran's day. I had the shrimp and rice and it was delicious and could barely finish it as it was a large portion. I also loved their salsa dip. Everything tasted fresh and as good as any Mexican food I've had. The facility was neat and clean and the service was second to none. I will be returning the next time I'm in town.

I have been eating here for almost 2 years (military spouse from Bragg) and ABSOLUTELY love this place! When I first pulled up I was a little concerned about the area and where to park but I LOVE Acapulco and eat here as much as I can! Everything is always fresh, the staff is always amazing, so kind and it feels like family. They know exactly what I want as soon as I walk through the door. I've never had a bad experience (except MY OWN impatience when it's crowded and food takes a bit longer). I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

While my husband has been here multiple times, it was my first - and might I say, I was pleasantly surprised. The exterior doesn't really say "come on in, the food is great" but give this place a chance - it is ! Our waitress was friendly & took great care of us, the food was great, and we enjoyed the low-key atmosphere.

Absolutely love this restaurant and the couple that operate it. Amazing service, portions, and prices. If you're in Leavenworth and looking for a good Mexican dish I will always recommend Acapulco Mexican Grill! You really get the best out of this restaurant when they're not busy, especially if its your first time, so try to avoid the lunch and dinner rush.

This has become my go-to in Leavenworth. I've been to most of the Mexican restaurants in town and this one is my favorite. Quick service, great portions, and most importantly... Exactly flavor.

It was my husband and I first time ordering from here. We order to go. Waiter was very nice. Food got out to us faster then expected. We order chicken tacos, California burrito, carne asada and a horchata drink.
Loved everything that we ordered! Especially the chicken tacos. Those were by far THE BEST chicken tacos we’ve had in Leavenworth/Lansing. The guy even refilled my horchata drink before we left which I thought was very nice! guacamole was made fresh, liked it a lot. Oh, also all of that only cost us $40 including tips!

I highly recommend this restaurant. I was in town on business for 2 weeks, and I ate here twice I liked it so much. I admit I was a bit concerned when I drove up to the front, but the restaurant had a total family atmosphere as soon as you walked in. The wait staff was friendly, and you could tell that this is a local favorite. It's super convenient to Fort Leavenworth as well.

Very nice environment, speedy service!! Great owner!! Watch out if you order the California steak burrito. It is huge, best have a good appetite🙂

Chips and salsa where really amazing!! My fajitas were excellent, tasted homemade. Staff was super friendly Definitely coming back!!!

Very good service, not too fast not too slow. The staff there is friendly and kind. The building and interior are designed well, it's a neat place to eat. Prices are good, and you get a large amount of food that tastes very good every visit.

Quick service and two kinds fo salsa with the free chips. Nice touch but be warned the hot is hot! Good portions and great price. Good "hole in the wall" just inside Leavenworth from the river

The guacamole was fresh and well prepared. The fajitas were well seasoned and flavorful. The corn tortillas were good. The horchata may have been from a mix but had good consistency. The food is far more authentic than Tampicos; don't even bother going there if you know real Mexican food like me.

Food is excellent. It may be a small dive but absolutely worth it. Clean resturant with friendly staff. Food was hot and fresh when served. Prices are fairly inexpensive and tastes great.

Our 1st day in Leavenworth and we had dinner here. It was delicious. Everything we ordered was perfect. Great service and food. Portions were more than appropriate. We will be back
