Big Al's Subs

We found this gem while passing through nixa. We bought 3 pineapple whips and our total was $6 even.
Very affordable and big servings for $2 each. The teenagers working there were very nice and the service was very quick
I wish we had this in Springfield!

I drive by this little place all the time and always wanted to stop by. I finally tried it for the first time and it's a place I'll definitely visit again!
I did stop by for a potato, but they don't serve their spuds on Saturdays. That was no biggie and a sweet girl gave me a menu to help me chose a different option! I got the Rooster and it's a really good! I did add salt and pepper when I got home, but that's just my personal preference. Also the price is a great for how much you get. I'll have to stop by again and try some of the other menu items!

Food is consistently good, I know exactly what I’m getting and that’s super important to me. Had the papa-sized Philly steak sandwich (see photo). I add a little mayo at home since it’s not really saucy enough for me.
Service is quick, friendly. Really really hate the awkward ‘you can add a tip if you like’ comment when I use cc at the window. There’s already a jar that says ‘tips appreciated’ when you pull up. This is one of those tip for little (I won’t say no) reason situations in my opinion.
No fault of theirs(not expired) but Cheetos were extremely stale. I hope they see this and try a bag.

Every piece of my food tasted amazing. Everything was fresh and put together perfectly. The smoothies weren't packed full of sugar and had the perfect amount of ingredients. Great place.

We really liked Big Al's Subs. We ate in and the service was outstanding. They are enlarging the dinning area. My husband has been back and used the drive thru. The food was delicious.

I'm a seafood lover that has traveled the world. They have the best seafood / butter that I've ever tasted. Also try the Philly cheesesteak it's better than Chicago cheesesteaks.

Great Tex spud. Brisket well seasoned, tasty and tender. It was HUGE. Pic is from when I was over 1/2 way through devouring it. Very friendly and helpful person at the pickup window too. Great locally owned place.

Stopped by for the first time today and had the Big A sub and my wife and son had the Gobbler. Awesome food very reasonable prices. The sub sauce was delicious! Sorry I missed seeing you Al, hopefully next time buddy. Great little spot to eat on the way to the river.

I’ve driven past this little place so many times and finally stopped to try it. Why have I waited so long? I got the Mama (6 inch) Meat ball, my spouse got the Big A, and my daughter got a custom sandwich (salami and ham). The price beat other sandwich shops out of the park. Each sub came with a drink and chips

They have a wide variety of chips to choose from. The bread was so soft and you can choose toasted or not.

The customer service was over the top! They also have baked potatoes, pizza, smoothies, Philly cheese steaks and more.

This was my first time eating here. I have always been hesitant because from the outside looks, I’ll be honest, doesn’t have much appeal. PLEASE DO NOT LET THE COVER OF THIS BOOK TURN YOU AWAY. The food is delicious, the bread was oh so soft with the most perfect chew that you expect on a sub. Many options to pick from as well. Subs were 5/5 all day, however, as a pizza fan, I cannot recommend the pizza here so that lost a point on the food category. Atmosphere lost a point as it felt a wee crapped in the seats. But overall Big Al’s Subs still gets 5 stars because the service and the subs were that good.

Delicious subs. Awesome customer service. FAST delivery. Just overall top notch local company. Highly recommend giving them your business over a chain sub company.

Two nice young ladies served a delicious roast beef sub with fresh ingredients. Not expensive at all. The combo with chips and drink is a bargain. Well worth it. The only down fall is only American cheese. No provolone. I just skipped the cheese all together.

We LOVE Big Al's! The sandwiches are always a great lunch option - I recommend the Papa sized sandwich, seems to be the best bang for your buck - I typically eat one half for lunch then the other the next day. The bread is delightful - way better than the chain sub shops.
I also really like their smoothie options - ice cream - burgers - phillys. No bad options!

The subs are great but the sea food is fantastic! Twice the food with better flavor and half the price of Joe's Crab Shack in Branson. Hubby and I go and share our entrées so we can have a little of everything. Go. You won't regret it. ...and the staff rocks.

Great potatoes at lunch, and their crab shack is amazing! Just wish carb was available more often and there was more seating.

Big Al’s always does a great job of taking care of our school events. Timely and tasty! Highly recommend!

We came from Tulsa OK and love to support local businesses. We needed to feed 25 baseball kids at a local game. Called Big Al’s before we arrived to order sandwiches. They had them all bagged up and ready to go as soon as we arrived. The kids loved it. Sandwich, chips, and a cookie all boxed up and ready! Thanks for the hospitality.
