Klondike Park

This is a great park. It's like a white sand beach in the middle of Missouri. There are great trails. It's also a great place to launch your drone from the top of the cliff.

A great place to camp! The cabins are perfect for a family. Staff are helpful and friendly. We're definitely coming back!

Awesome park with trails and tons of campsites. Dog friendly. Many varieties including primitive, RV, walk ins, sites with posts for hammocks, and more. There are various camping amenities like a camp kitchen, bathrooms, showers, compost toilets, playgrounds, and others. The park has a pretty waterfront area and you can fish. There are scenic bluff overlooks. There's a meeting facility you can rent. Something for everyone. And it's close to several charming small towns and wineries.

What a gorgeous surprise! With the crystal blue water and white sand, I felt like I was in another state. Took the nice path around the lake, pretty flat and easy to navigate, and then the path to the overlook, it's steep, but paved and a pretty short walk. Lots of well maintained bathrooms, camping sites, picnic areas and primitive rental cabins. Great place to visit, and plenty of wineries/breweries around, so a good day trip.

What a great find! We were looking for something to do and came across Klondike while searching. The drive there was pretty and the park was really cool.

Beautiful Park with good Hiking and Mountain Bike trails and some amazing lookouts!

Klondike Park has amazing views and incredible scenery! The white sand is super cool and the stunning photographs you can take here are absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend you go there soon!

It's a beautiful park, with several trails to hike or ride mountain bikes on. Some of the trails are closed right now for the mountain bike rider because it's so muddy.
There's a lake to go fishing in. There are even some primitive camping spots for people to use while traveling the Katy Trail.

First time visiting Klondike Park . Really beautiful park with a lake and white sand. Camping sections throughout. Bathrooms are pretty good compared to other parks I have been too. I felt safe camping overnight. I love that there are cooking grills attached to their fire pits, so bring your aluminum foil to cover over the grills. Camping sections have poles for hammocks. Restrooms through those, jungle gym for the kids, picnic areas, trails for hiking and biking. Great place for photo opps too. Would came here again.

Great bass and panfishing! Very scenic, although small. The white silica sand reminds me of some of the alpine lakes in the Sierra nevadas that I have visited. There are on-site kayak rentals, but really the lake would be saturated with more than 4 boats on it. I wish it were closer!

Gorgeous place to go hiking

Beautiful old sand Quarry that has been turned into a park. This place will make you feel like you are much further from home then you really are. We rented a cabin for $65. It came with beds and a fan. No wood or ice for sale so bring your own.

I throughly enjoy spending time here.

I’ve both hiked and biked around the park.

The views are beautiful, and the quarry is pretty neat too!

If you’re into MTB, check out HogsBack trail. I recommend starting from the top!

Beautiful white sand beaches. Great place to see like your on the beach h jn the middle of missouri! Kids love going here. There is some nice hiking and trails. Beautiful in the fall. Right next to the Katy Trail.

This park is gorgeous! I love the white lime rocks, the lake and surrounding vegetation. If you have kids the playground equipment isn't amazing but hiking, kayaking or conoeing and biking opportunities are splendid

Love the layout of this park. Hills to the top of the bluffs to view the Missouri River. A lake with sand area as white as the Florida Gulf Coast and the campground area is peaceful and enjoyable. Close proximity to Augusta MO with their award willing wineries, shops and restaurants.

Beautiful location! Camped in the past at the campsites & cabins, and rented a pavilion for my twin's graduation party in June 2023. Great space, easy to access restrooms, water, lake, trails, & bbq pit, trash cans, electric & parking were perfectly accessible! We had 30+ people & easily could have seated 30+ more.

Wonderful park with so much to offer. Great trails and so many breathtaking views. I can see why so many photographers choose to come here.

I come here every year. Absolutely beautiful area with a few very scenic views!! I highly recommend visiting this area. It’s hard to get lost, as the trail is on a hill; you can see the road a lot of the time.
