Work is always done correctly, they stand by all repairs. Yeah, they can take a little long to get it done, as everyone knows. I'm just happy we have a local go to company for these issues. Thank you.

I wish I could give 0 stars for customer service, the wait for repairs is ridiculous every time you wait more than a month and have to make numerous phone calls, and every time it's a different excuse. Clarissa should not be working for JanL poor customer service. Imagine she tells me to go elsewhere when we purchased drills from JanL who would repair it? What a waste of money every couple of months to service handles and pay hundreds of dollars too.

EXTREMELY POOR customer service!!! The Jan L manager threw the owner under the bus when my promised delivery of my new unit didn't arrive as the owner promised it would. Then I had an issue with the unit overheating three times in the first week of ownership and when I sent it back, I was told the filter bag was full! When I sent it back the bottom of the bag was barely full! I am NOT going to replace bags every 3-5 days when the bag is supposed to last a month! Also the RPM knob was returned loose and the drill didn't seem to be rotating properly! When I called the manager again about these issues, he was stand offish and not empathetic nor caring to my situation; he just told me to ship it back and he would refund my money ( which I am still waiting for..) Also, he wouldn't allow me to speak to the owner to inform him personally of my poor customer service experience. I believe that he is duping the owner! I would give these guys a big fat ZERO but the rating system doesn't allow it! Bruce - you need to get rid of Mr. Evans or your business will be down the drain before you know it! Also, they don't any the phone during the hours that they claim they are open!! I wonder if the owner really knows if they are there or not !?!

I have recently purchased a vac pro unit from them 3 months ago and ran into problem where the vacuum no longer works. After speaking with the technician, I was assured the the unit will be inspected right away and fixed. Problem started right away when I didn't received the return label which I had to request one again. It's been over a week since the return, so I called the customer service only to hear "that they are backed Up" and can't even see my unit until tomorrow at the earliest. This is far from what I expected when I spoke with Bruce prior to purchasing their product. Buyers beware!

Update, finally Bruce returned my call two days later and helped to resolve the issue. Just wished that the company can work out the issue without having to wait and talk to the owner.

I am a physician in the Midwest and I ordered a small vacuum from Jan L for my office after reading stellar reviews. I called with questions regarding the set-up and found the woman who answered the phone could not give clear instructions on how to attach the hose. I tested the vacuum and found that it did not meet my needs. One of my office managers called on multiple occasions to initiate a return on it and this company has refused to help me, stating that returns are at their discretion. In fact, Jan L’s manager even hung up on my manager. Jan L has terrible customer service, NO returns and a mediocre product. Buyers beware.
