Collingswood Cleaners & Tuxedo

I refuse to bring my garments anywhere else! I came to Collingswood Cleaners on two separate occasions with different sample wedding dresses! Both times, the wedding dresses came out looking brand new and stain free! Customer service was amazing and Kathy did everything to make sure I had the dress I actually wore on time (dropped it off on Tuesday, was getting married that Friday; dress was ready Thursday; I changed my mind one week before my wedding). Highly recommend! Very professional and talented!

The best! I moved to Collingswood a year ago and found this place early on. Since living here I’ve brought multiple pants, dresses, & blazers to be altered and it’s done perfectly each time. Alterations are really quick and they are very accommodating if you need a short turnaround. Kathy is amazing and so nice! She runs a great business.

Stopped in with a last minute need for alternations and they completely saved me with being able to get it done in time! Appreciate them so much and will absolutely use in the future.

I was flying in from California to visit my dad and attend a black tie event. A wadded up dress in my suitcase was not going to work-- needed a fast and trustworthy press on the gown. I picked something random online and called this place.

Kathy understood I'd have only 36 hours to get the job done. I was super impressed by her rare, smart, nice customer service attitude.

Yes -- you can get all of your alterations and dry cleaning and shoe repair done at this place reliably. But it is a standout because of the quality of customer service. In fact, a friend from Berlin is driving 20 mins over here because her local cleaners just not cutting it.

When I shSeriouutand said she could take care of the dress once I arrived. I rolled in there this morning and it turned out my father is already a customer and he's choosy. Kathy remembered the phone call and had me all figured out and on my way. 1,000% recommend this operation..

I needed tuxedo pants for my son’s prom at last minute. His prom was on a Friday and on Monday I called about 6 different cleaners, this was the only place that considered doing the work and getting it done in such short noticed. We arrived 25 minutes before they closed she was very pleasant and assured me this would be done by Friday. I am so grateful for finding this place. I would highly recommend

Kathy at Collingswood Cleaners is amazing! The zipper broke on my beaded mother-of-the-groom dress 4 days before I needed it. Kathy is the angel who came to my rescue! Repairs (and alterations, too, that we decided to do while she had the dress) were done to perfection. And she was so nice throughout! If I could give her and her business 10 stars, I would.

This is the best tailor in the area. She is also the least expensive and the quickest. I had an unexpected interview and she was able to get my pants hemmed right away. She also does shoe repair, but it’s not overnight like some of her hemming work.

She has hemmed probably 20 items for me and I will keep going back—great work!

Needed last minute alterations for wedding, and after 9 other attempts this place not only answered the phones but was very professional. I called first, they told me to bring dress in. I did. Then less than 48 hours I was called & told my dress was ready. It was perfect. They even steamed it out for me. This place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. For this type of service, I would've paid double of what was asked.

I've been going here for a few years now. There was a turnover several years ago when the business sold. The original owners/operators had been there for decades. Many locals were worried about a possible decline as a result of the transition.
I can definitively say that the quality and efficiency are excellent.

I use this place for dry cleaning, tailoring, tux rental for kids proms, zipper fixes and button replacement. I've never had any issues.
Kathy, the proprietor, is friendly, professional, helpful and straightforward. Work is always done when promised - which is always very expedient.

If had to have one gripe it's more to do with that parking in downtown Collingswood can be tight. The 40 yard walk however it always worth it.

My boyfriend and I needed some alterations done for a wedding. Kathy/Cathy was so helpful and honest with the timeline and pricing. She made it so simple! Helps that this place is down the road from us, I will definitely be back since lots of dresses and pants tend to be long on me!

I've been taking my things here for years and it's always been a great experience. I would highly recommend their wash and fold laundry service.

I almost never leave reviews but I have to share how great this business is- I brought in a vintage coat from an estate sale that was in truly horrible shape- once we took it out of the bag it came in and I really saw how bad it was and I apologized and told her to throw it out. instead she was able to dry clean it (twice) and fix it up to look practically new! I couldn’t believe it. 5 stars and thank you!

Just a wonderful experience. . Kathy was so helpful, kind and courteous. . The shop is clean and bright. . Thankfully there was a very large dressing room to try on the tuxedos. . Very very accommodating! . I would not hesitate to recommend Martin's cleaners!

I would recommend this location to anyone. There are similar businesses near me but I travel to get my clothes altered. The customer service is great! I have not had a problem this far!
