This trail is for all types of hiking, from beginner, to moderate, there is something for everyone. There is all types of scenery as well- you could take a walk by the creek, or deep into the fields to catch some bird sight seeing, or even possibly follow the path for a quick run. Whatever your speed is, this park has it. Also very clean, and well mapped out (with the colors for each different trail). I will definitely come back, since I only got to do half the trails.

We loved it! The trails were great and the scenery was gorgeous! Very clean, and well maintained. The highlight for us was the graffiti house!

Nice trails for hiking, running, and biking. Sandy trails mostly drain quickly after rain. The blue perimeter trail gives you a good 5K loop, which you can make longer by picking up some of the internal trails, too. Good access to Rancocas Creek in a few places although a bit swampy at times. Great for dogs. Good parking in several places but no facilities. Plan to take away your trash. If you want facilities, Rancocas Nature Center is on the other side of Rancocas Creek, although dogs are not allowed there.

A gem in the backyard, nice trails with beautiful views ofRancocas creek. Different trails and diverse vegetation. While there visit Rancocas Nature Center. Helpful friendly volunteers with lot of insights of the area.

My son and I enjoyed the 3.2 mile blue trail that goes along the Rancocas Creek. It's very scenic and beautiful. The paths are well marked and not difficult to hike. Parts of the trail are beginning to be overgrown so I'd recommend pants and definitely bug spray as it can be buggy but fortunately not the kind that bite. Also as a point of information, there are no facilities so plan accordingly.

I took advantage of the warm February weather and had an afternoon adventure riding through Rancocas State Park! This 1200 acre space surrounds the area where the historic Rancocas Creek splits into its north and south branches. Established in 1965, this New Jersey State Park has over 13 miles of trails, access to the creek for canoeing, and a nature center. I parked at the Rancocas Rd entrance in Hainesport to ride the blue Creekside Trail and the orange Red Fox Trail. It took me about 50 minutes to complete a 4 mile loop. When I pulled up this friendly guy had just finished biking so I asked for some advice and he gave me a map. He suggested that I walk my bike up the steep hill to the right and start the blue trail from there. During my ride I experienced a variety of environments and terrain with plenty of great views. The highlight of my adventure was the frequent change in elevation. Some parts of the trail were so steep I decided to walk my bike up or down these hills, which you don’t find often in South Jersey! I will definitely go back to explore the other trails along with the abandoned cabin and eventually take a trip with my canoe. Rancocas State Park is a beautiful place to enjoy nature and get a challenging workout! 🚴‍♂🌲🛶🏖

This park is a great lightly used hiking area. Great for biking, hiking and kayaking. We spend a lot of time on the trails with our dog and rarely see anybody. The trails are mostly wide and well maintained and many have views of the Rancocas Creek. There are many access points from Mt Laurel Hainesport and Westampton. All trails is probably your best guide

Consisting of 8.3 total miles of narrow trails with a variety of twists, sand, hills, roots, mud, and flats. Well marked and maintained trails. Trail users very friendly.
First time here - had a blast!

Trails are narrow - please be courtious to hikers. PLEASE help to keep it clean.
Thank you!

A good deal of pathways for hiking, dog walking, access to the creek, and taking in nature, but I enjoy Rancocas State Park for the local history! Such as the riverbank "cave" that was used as a temporary dwelling for John Haines circa 1680, upon arrival in the "New World."

Boy can this place be windy on some nights. Really nice fields and a great layout for softball. I hear new lights are coming for all the fields, but I enjoyed our chilly night at the park even when our team came up a few runs short. Look forward to coming back.

Highly recommend this spot! Love it here! Great trails along the creek . Easy and difficult trails . Beautiful scenery . They have parking unlike other hiking spots. I still haven’t had time to explore every acre but I am excited to keep going as often as possible! So happy I found this place.

A lovely park in the area that’s great for shorter hikes and some birdwatching. This park is a short drive for me and a good option for getting away for an easy, shorter hike. The trails are a couple of miles long and lead to scenic bodies of water where, depending on the season, you can observe water fowl. Although some sections of the trail are getting overrun and could use better upkeep. A lovely local park all in all. Bring bug spray and water if you’re planning a hike and enjoy!

I'm a local and have been walking these woods up and down the creek for years, has some nice walking trails, no bathrooms( other than outside 😂) area gets flooded so don't go after a bad rain. Overall it beautiful nice place to go walking in nature.

Varied, well marked trails. And an abandoned, vaguely creepy house to explore (be careful, because some floor boards are loose). The only negative is the near-constant noise coming from the NJ Turnpike, which forms the park's west border.
