Had a great experience with the store owner and his son. I bought a leather jacket there and a few months later it had a rip in one of the seams. This was disappointing but Gilly assured me this was unusual for the brand and directed me straight to his Milwaukee Leather sales rep who replaced it for me free of charge. Coming from a family business myself, this experience proves to me that Gilly is proud of his business and stands behind the quality of the brands he sells. Thank you Gilly and family.

Gilly Jeans is run by a family man who built this business with his own two hands back in 1985. The store is authentic, unique, and has survived despite economic turmoil for small businesses all over this country. Total liar about pricing. Sold me overpriced boots at a “discount” saying I’ll never see prices like this anywhere again yet that was still far above the actual suggested retail price. (I found this out later) I asked for a nice leather belt and he sold me a fake one for $20. I could have gotten the same one for $2. I just wanted to support a local South Street independent business and got ripped off instead. Browse there then but online, it will be 50-80% cheaper. He’s not going out of business either, the “EVERYTHING MUST GO!” “THANKS FOR 35 YEARS OF BUSINESS “ signs mean nothing. They are always up there now that I’ve taken notice.
