White Dotte Dairy Bar

First time here—so great! Got a kid's* dish of orange sherbet and vanilla twist, which was very delicious. My husband got a small butter pecan in a cone and it was ✌🏻 HUGE scoops! A+, would enjoy again.

*I asked for something smaller than the small and this was it. Perfect size after having a filling dinner.

We came for a simple dinner of a pulled pork sandwich and a burger. Both were delicious and very much in keeping with this gem of a roadside eatery. We stayed for the music, which is apparently a regular thing on nice summer nights and of course the ice cream. Wow dinner, dessert and a show on the patio. What a wonderful late summer evening. Thanks White Dotte!

So I drive by this place on a daily basis and always think to myself "I need to try it." So I finally did try it and I am glad I did. If it was in a city it would be a hole in the wall place, good food with no pretending it's something it is not. Then add the fact you can get soft serve ice cream it just takes it to a other level.

This has become me and my daughters go to place for a Friday out of shopping and milkshakes!
I suggest the Peanut Butter and Banana milkshake and the food is far better then any fast food joint.
It is Cash only and if you go around dinner time, they got a line. But again WORTH IT!

Ice Cream, water ice and milkshakes never miss at this place. ALWAYS get an order of the Garlic Parmesan fries whenever I go. Burgers and hotdogs are great as well. One of the gems of NJ.

Great spot to hang out and bring the cars and trucks and bikes out and get together for ice cream or some great food when there’s nice weather and they have inside seating to over all just a great local spot been around for many years

This place is great! I had the cowboy dog, and a chocolate malt. Both were excellent (unless your in a diet). Good food, fun atmosphere. Go check it out, just know they’re cash only, but have an ATM on site, and no public restrooms.

I have been going here since I was a child. We always stopped going and coming from the beach. Always great for a hot dog and ice cream or shake. Got to stop and bring my daughter to carry on the tradition which was amazing. Hope they keep sticking around for many more years!

The Jersey Devil dog is best, only bad thing is slower service when you get something other than ice cream..

I've been going to White Dotte for at least the past 35 years. I love their ice cream & every (late) spring look forward to when the blueberry soft serve becomes available. The food instead is really good too, I especially like the fried cheese curds.

If you like ice cream this is your place! They have food as well but I've never had any, I go just for the ice cream. They only take cash no cards of any sort. Well worth it. They do get busy during the summer.

*Breakfast meal. BRING CASH!! If not, stop at the wawa and you can take money out there. I’ve wanted to eat here for awhile and I’m happy I did. The staff was welcoming, friendly and engaging. They really make you feel welcome and that your experience is a positive one. Breakfast menu isn’t large but two items are very unique. The breakfast burger and the Irish eggs. I went for the Irish eggs and was very happy with my decision. It came out quick, hot and delicious. Only constructive criticism is I like a crunchy English muffin with my benedicts but that’s my personal preference. I’ll break it down top to bottom. A cheese sauce that isn’t thick and overbearing. It’s just the right consistency to match a hollandaise sauce. Two poached eggs nice and runny. Under that two pieces of pork roll cooked perfect. The finisher is a patty made out of cornbeef hash. Now I’m not a fan of cornbeef hash but having it this way was a welcomed change. When and I mean WHEN I eat here again, I’m going to try the hamburger in pancake batter on French toast with bacon, a fried egg and syrup...yes that’s a thing and I want this thing. Check this place out and bring an appetite!!

My son and I got ice cream. There was a decent number of people, but we were served quickly. This place does a booming business during the summer. I look forward to going a few times while there open.

I had the white dotte burger, corn dog and Cajun fries. Then had soft serve! The food was phenomenal. Burger was super thick and juicy. Fried are crispy shoe strings. The soft serve was great too. Will be back!

This place is a down-home slice of American pie straight out of the 1940’s or 50’s. Serving classic comfort food in a charming rest-stop setting right out of something you’d see in the movies, it’s clear why White Dotte has been feeding motorists and locals for decades. The staff is incredibly friendly- and fast. I’ve had the fried chicken and waffles, smothered in delicious white country gravy. I’ve also tried their slow-cooked, savory and sweet BBQ. Corn bread, baked beans, fried pickles, coleslaw and mac-n-cheese are all really delicious and taste like mom made them. This is great comfort food at a really good price. Try this place - but bring cash, as they don’t take cards. The only bathroom is a port-o-pottie, so don’t be expecting fancy facilities or anything. This is a rest stop, with only a few booth tables. Think greasy spoon with really nice people and rockin classic American food.

A diamond out in the rough. Food top notch and huge portions even for small sizes. 45 dollars got us lunch and dinner for a day between apps and burger and we even shared with our dogs in the car. Shakes are outstanding. The large is 32. Ounces. Super friendly cash only restaurant but has atm.

Absolutely amazing! The soft serve is the best I have ever had! The smoked brisket rivals any I have had in Texas! The whole menu looked delicious and I can't wait to go back. Truly fantastic!!!

Yum, yum, yum!!! The soft serve ice cream is incredible!!! Black Raspberry!!! Haven't found it anywhere else!!! Wonderful!!!
