Cool Cricket

So this is a hard review for me, I live very close (currently). Their wings are phenomenal for the price and the kitchen is open till 10pm. I came in at 9:30 after a late night and the wings were just as good. Wings 5 stars, the rest is 3.5 stars. Atmosphere is not for everyone but a good time and the regulars are very nice. Free shuffle board and a few bucks for pool. It is definitely worth trying on a Wednesday or a late Friday or Saturday night as they are open late and know how to party. I’ve come on quiet Sundays and middle of the week, all was well there too. It’s a solid 4 stars overall and that is a brutal review for a place I truly love. **edit** alcohol is relatively cheap. Mixed drinks could use some work but lots of options. I got 8 wings and a miller draft for $9.89 (03/2024)

This Restaurant is so great, food is very tasty and the service is really excellent. We first ordered drinks obviously and the waitress was so fast at serving us the drinks, it was amazing. It’s family owned and they give much effort in giving their guests a good time. Definitely worth a visit 😊

Absolute banger of a night. Band night is electric highly recommend. If you’re ever in the area. Be sure to stop by and enjoy the ambiance of the cool brisket. MUST COME SATURDAY. Wings are delicious.

If my Uncle Bob and Aunt Donna still own this establishment it's awesome. Moved outta NJ in 2014 ain't been back since and now all my family has passed on, probably won't be back, but I do miss yall dearly!

Love the Cool Cricket! A new favorite. Stopped in to kill time awaiting a friend’s train arrival at Hamilton Station, just 15 minutes away. Evening crowd comprised of friendly regulars, bartenders are accommodating and easy going, and the bar seems to favor the juke box over sports broadcast (a positive!). Read that the wings were solid so ordered half a dozen rat style (mild, buttery, garlic Parmesan) wings and loved them.

We moved in to the area about 6 months ago. We already gathered that there's rarely any good places to eat around here unfortunately. Anyway, my wife and I wanted plans to go out on a Friday night without the kids. We were on the fence about this place because we couldn't quite tell the vibe from pictures, but we wanted to check out the Karaoke. Well, we were very happy that we ended up going. It was a nice atmosphere, good bar food (the wings were really good), and friendly service. Hope it's the same way the next time we go back.

We had my late father's celebration of life at the Cool Cricket in their pavilion behind the restaurant for about 80 people. The restaurant provided great food, tables, chairs, speakers and microphones. They even had a hut out back for a bar! The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating, and the price for the event was more than reasonable. We can't thank the staff and Bob the owner enough for hosting this event and making the day run so smoothly. I highly recommend planning an outdoor event here!

Awesome and chill spot. Great food and drinks for good prices. Nice crowd in there. Hadn't been in years but I just moved back and it's same fun time like I remembered.

Place was great! Friend of mine called it "a dive bar" I told my friend the difference between a dive bar and just a friendly bar. This place has great service, good drinks with fair price, and good fresh food. With resturants being weird right now and take out getting old I would recommend this as a friendly bar in the Bordentown area. Try the shrimp scampi cheesecake. The shrimp were done just right.

Wing night is awesome. They use big wings. Nice servers.

The wings are really good. There is rarely music playing when I'm there. They do have jukebox that can be controlled by your phone but the reception is horrible so it's hard to control and the volume is very low. The patrons are friendly and so is the staff. It would be a very nice place if it was a little more lively.

Great food, great service. Drinks weren't weak, without being too strong.
I had the Philly Italiano. It was amazing, almost as good as Tony Luke's and way better than anything back home in Tampa. This will be a regular stop for me whenever I'm in this part of Jersey.

Super chill spot! The bartender was very attentive. Service was fast and the BBQ sub sandwich was good.
