Pat's Original Diner

Delicious and very affordable food. Their daily specials, which changes depending on the day of the week comes with soup AND salad, entree (some come with sides like french fries, corn, mashed potatoes) AND dessert all included! Great value! Since the prices are affordable, I have experimented with ordering different dishes over the years. Some are hit and miss. Their meat loaf is great and their bread pudding is extraordinary!

Great food and service. The young lady with the red hair was amazing. She really went out her way for us. Awesome 👌.

Very good food and courtesy. I have been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have always felt like I fit in. It's one of the best diners I've been to in the area.

Pat's always has a warm, friendly atmosphere with polite staff and delightful food. The beef gyro, patty melt, fish & chips, and chicken cheese steak have all been very tasty, and they came out quickly as well!

I grew up in Chambersburg section here in Trenton nj, Been to most of the Legendary and Best restaurants and mom n pop little Delis in South Trenton, Tatoni's , Cesars , Angelo Tamara's, Porfirio s, Amicis, La Gandola, Creccos, Blue Danube, Pete's, Delo's, Papa's and now Im adding on Pat's Diner South Broad Street 👌 New owner has the Place so Friggin clean! Noticebly Different!! Same old Pat's dont get it mixed up. I couldn't see a spec of dust in the place, counters sparkling, glass shining, floors you can eat off of, super clean kitchen from where my girl and I were sitting.Most Important, the food was "Mind Blowingly Fresh, homemade to order, pot roast special complete
w/ soup to salad 2 vegetables and desert included and The BestCorn beef Reuben Ive ever eaten in My Life !!!! Seriously, UnFriggin Believable. I got up from my table to introduce myself to the female owner and she was super nice soft spoken n seemed very humble. The thing I took notice to was her attention in overseeing the running of the Diner. There seemed to be a general level of respect between the staff and owner which is rather rare to witness and feel when youre in a business today. We didn't feel rushed at all to get the table " Turned Over" and thoroughly appreciated that. Im taking the time to explain this experience to those of you that are blessed to have taken your time to read it because I think its so very very crucial to our existence to know that there are people and places Still in Existence Today that show up and are of service to other still doing it with Dignity Respect and Honor. I wont do a comparison to the few surrounding diner's Because I dont need to. Just went there today and it was really delicious. Very friendly staff. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and it was really good. It also not expensive so I would definitely recommend going there.

Pat's has been my wife & I go to spot for a few years now. At first, we mostly enjoyed the breakfast selections which were all good - pancakes, sausage, Belgium waffles, bacon, eggs, French toast, etc... We began to try their lunch & dinner's as well. I can say 98% of the time we were pleased with our choices. They have a decent selection of desserts to choose from too. The staff is always friendly, Adrienne & Vanessa to name a few off the top. As long as we are in this area, Pat's is our #1 diner!

Eating breakfast here has never failed our satisfaction for great food. As a family we agree that the service of this place is amazing and the food is very delicious.

This is a great diner that is well known to long-time Trenton residents. There is an extensive menu selection. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The people are friendly. From the crowds, it's obvious that this diner is popular and has quite a following.

This place is under new ownership and is had improved drastically. I grew up coming here as a child and after years of enjoying their meals they just haven’t been the same
In the past 10 years or so. However we went last night and had a great meal, I had breakfast because what else would you eat at a diner 😉 my brother had French onion soup, and cheesesteak, dad had jambalaya nobody had a bad meal!! Dessert was great as well. I had a limoncello cake my brother had carrot cake, and my dad had his favorite Jell-O.

Hello all! I want to tell you I just dined here for the first time and here is my experience. Was greeted and seated immediately before I could even register the overall cool 50's styled brick pizza oven look (granted I personally like this throwback style and it was if not recently renovated, up kept very well), was approached by our server within a minute if not thirty seconds by a very kind and attentive server named Alyssa, when asked if I could substitute she was going to ask in which case I asked for the meal and a side in which she even made sure to tell me it would be a charge for the sub. On the side. Now, the food? The corned beef hash I got as a side was decent, but corned beef hash is corned beef hash, but my eggs Benedict were toasted to the point where it remained firm with Canadian bacon that was done so it was hot but not seared, and the eggs were perfect consistently. My father who also joined got the eggs salad bacon triple decker and every component was to par. Personally, I would go again, without a doubt, and keep it as a local Hamilton favorite Diner. Kudos.

A Trenton, NJ staple! Been coming here since middle school. I just wish they went back to 24/7 for those occasional late nights

I had blueberry pancakes & bacon with a side of grits. The breakfast was delicious. The service was superb. Reasonable prices. Recommend and we will definitely return.

This was my 1st time eating there and the people there are very friendly, polite and respectful.. They give you time to look at the menu to decide what you want to order. The waitress was fantastic .The food was super great. We ordered eggplant parmesan and it was out of this world the best I've ever tasted and I'm Italian. The quantity they give you is more than enough . We were able to take Leftover's home. We were from out of town from West Virginia and they Even provided us with plasticware and with take out Boxs. They even packed our dessert to go. I would recommend Pat dinner to anyone who wants a good meal. I would definitely eat there again when I'm back in New Jersey.
