Harry's Ocean Bar & Grille

This was the best Valentine's Day dinner I have had. My fiance and I are from the Philadelphia area so we know what a good steak looks like and tastes like. Harry's NY strip steak was juicy, well seasoned and large. No steak sauce or extra salt needed. The mashed potatoes were homemade and complimented the steak perfectly. Don't even get me started on the balsamic broccoli! It added a layer of sweetness to our savory plate. The fun doesn't stop there, the red velvet cheesecake was HUGE!

The Valentine's Day dinner is $45/per person. Each person gets an appetizer, entree and shared dessert. This is the cheapest Valentine's Day dinner in South Jersey. Trust me, I checked several menus trying to find a good deal. $45 is a miraculous price for braised lamp chops, juicy steak and potatoes and a giant slice of cheesecake. I highly recommend this deal to anyone looking for an inexpensive but memorable Valentine's Day date.

This place is truly amazing.
The food is fantastic and the service is top notch. Best lobster roll ever! Great drinks and atmosphere. I ate here 3 times during my stay and each time was better than the last.
Please make sure to stop in and you will not be disappointed.
A true gem in Cape May.

They have the best Buffalo wings. We stayed at the Montreal Resort & visited Harry’s multiple times during our stay. No complaints from service - to food

We visited Harry's Ocean Bar & Grille on a Saturday night and had a great time here. There was live music and dancing in the entrance area. We were seated further back so it was not as loud but we could still enjoy the atmosphere. The server was really nice and helpful. Although prices are a little bit higher, it was justified in my opinion. I ordered the chicken sandwich with a peach crush which I both absolutely recommend. I just wished that they had been open fo longer. Since we arrived around 9-ish and it was quite full, the live music had ended when we finished our food.

First time in Cape May and stopped by for lunch after taking in some sights. Ordered the New England clam chowder and sauteed clams in a lemon butter sauce, both were outstanding!!! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I asked if the rooftop was open and if I could sit up there for the ocean view. Emily was extremely accommodating and being I had just ordered a beer, she only asked to close out my ticket being there were separate servers upstairs. I finished my beer and enjoyed my lunch at the bar upstairs with the bartender Logan who took fantastic care of me during the remainder of my lunch while enjoying a incredible view of the ocean. I highly recommend this place and I hope they continue to get great reviews to draw others like myself there. Trust me peeps, you won't regret it!!!

Everything you want to experience at the beach! Great drinks from the bar (cocktails and beer!), friendly and hardworking staff, awesome food, live music, and right off the beach. Roof top dinning with beach view and live music.

Overall, this is a solid place to eat and hang out. It can get crowded at time but it has a lot of seating options, with both a bar upstairs and downstairs. Nice view of the ocean from upstairs.
I’ll also take this opportunity to acknowledge the value of an older bartender. I don’t mean this as any disrespect the gentleman’s age. But his maturity and experience is a value that makes him significantly better at his job- the ability to interact maturely, anticipate customers needs and knowing when to and when not to check in.

The guitar player/singer definitely caters to GenX folks- tunes you can sing along to (eg Steve Miller Band) and plays at an appropriately moderate level to make it enjoyable.

Chowder (the bartender at the rooftop bar) was effing incredible. All the correct levels of chill and fun and funny and attentive. Really great experience thanks to Chowder that i WILL be returning to.

This was the spot after a day on the beach for us. Literally, the food is amazing, a live Grateful Dead cover band playing & mingling with great people on the rooftop deck. The views were pretty spectacular too. We ate & drank here a few times during our vacation. Great place!

Food was pretty good and the place was decorated nicely and comfortable. The staff was attentive and friendly and they even had a pick-ur-own flowers bouquet thing for mother's Day. I went with my wife and both our mothers. We had a great time and would go back.

I’ve been to Harry’s once before and decided to come in for a Sunday lunch. The rooftop is amazing and the vibe was great. The live music was also awesome! My meal was tasty and satisfying. We made a second stop in and sat at the bar, later in the day and once again everything was great. Michelle at the bar was very attentive and warm. Harry’s will definitely be on my list every time I come to Cape May.

Update 6/23: you'll be waiting a LONG time for your food at dinner. We were there two nights in a row, Sunday and Monday. Waited 45 minutes Sunday and a full hour to get food on Monday evening after waiting quite a while for a table. Crab cake was not fully cooked and bun was hard around the edges. Cape Cioppino is fine but not very interesting. Cheeseburger reported to be very good. Fries with parmesan are surprisingly good.
Really good seafood pot pie (no longer in the menu). Good fish tacos. Great coffee and pancakes at breakfast.

Great food , friendly service and excellent location . Keeps it simple and it works . We had a beer and lemon crush as well as burgers and it hit the spot after a long day .
It’s nice to be able to know there’s a place you don’t need to dress up or pay $40 for a dinner when that’s not what you’re looking for .
There were many families there with kids enjoying the baseball game and eating wings which smelled delicious .
The server was super friendly and it’s a great spot .

A plenty of seating duelling pianos, basic okay food, a little pricey as expected & I wouldnt recommend it for dinner but definitely great for drinks & entertainment. the friendly service from staff makes it worth visiting.

Delicious food. The clam chowder was sooo good! Loved the aioli on the faroe island salmon!

My friend held a wedding reception here. They did a great job of helping organize things and moving tables etc. For the dance, bringing out the cake, and all the food. Food was very good. Staff was highly attentive, and bar tenders did a fantastic job keeping everyone happy. Good view from outside.

I love this place!! I’ve been for lunch and dinner (same menu) and it is always a hit! I got the fish tacos today and they were great! Simple and delicious! Friendly staff, great views, a great stop while on vacation!!

Great spot! They had live music and we enjoyed the crab dip & pulled pork nachos on the rooftop.
