I love That’s Amore. I have dined here numerous times and I always enjoy a delicious meal! For a while I was creating my own pasta consisting of risotto, forno sauce and homemade meatballs. Unreal combo! I recently had the Veal Olivia and everyone at the table wanted bites. It had a lot of flavor. The portions are large which means you get to have the left overs for lunch or dinner the next day :) I enjoy the people that work here, the decor and of course, the food! I tell everyone to go here!

Tonight was the first time my Fiance'and I had eaten at "That's Amore" The atmosphere was clean, and elegantly decorated. The server (Christina) was informative of the menu, personable, and attentive. The presentation of the food was beautiful!
The temperature of the meal was perfect. Now, the most important aspect of my experience was the TASTE! Every bite was better then the next. The food was cooked to perfection! We were so impressed that we made reservation to bring our parents even before we were finished dinner. The only regret that I have is we ate so much of the fresh bread, appetizers, and main course, that we didn't leave room for desert. A mistake I do not intend to duplicate because I am sure I will not be disappointed!

Every time we go to that's amore we are treated to the best food. I've been here maybe about 15-20 times in the past three years and every meal I've ordered have turned out fantastic. The highlights in no particular order are the rice balls, calamari salad, and Sunday gravy. The red gravy is SO awesome. The portion sizes garuntee me lunch the next day and the service is always spot on. Just keep doing what you're doing.

What an awesome spot in the Collingswood BYOB district. From start to finish, our experience was a pleasant one. Even without a reservation, we still managed to get seated quickly on a busy Thursday night. The atmosphere has a casual Italian feel but the food is anything BUT casual. We started with the waiters reccomendation on the appetizer, the Arancini di Riso which quickly became our new favorite dish. Between those and the bread with marinara, we were getting full already. Still, with such a grand menu, we ordered a few entrees and went at them tapas style (ensuring we had left overs for the next day). The pastas were fresh and each had their own unique gravy. I was partial to my chicken parm which was healthy, well cooked portion of chicken smothered in red sauce and golden brown mozzarella. My partner was partial to his gnocchi with a pesto sauce and shrimp. We tried several other dishes including a "Mac and Cheese" special which was equally appetizing. The only thing we could say upon completion was, WE HAVE TO COME BACK AND TRY MORE. So glad we passed by and made this our destination of the evening. Already we cannot wait to return--thanks to the management for a great experience!!

I had heard about this place through some friends due to their Mac and Cheese month promotion. Being that my partner is a huge Mac buff, we simply had to go. It was a relative ease to make reservations and find a table on a Tuesday night. The interior of the restaurant was inviting and cozy. A real down home feeling. Our waitress greeted us at the door and was upbeat and welcoming. The restaurant owner also came over our table to welcome us, as it was our first time visiting. Simply put, the service was exquisite.

The food itself was also just as great. We started off with some Arancini, which we were told was a house specialty. The texture and consistency of the rice was crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Coupled with the house gravy made it taste wonderful. It was a good dichotomy in flavor. There was a standard serving of bread, also with the house gravy for dipping, which was a welcome treat. The bread was crunchy and to our liking. Although, I couldn't resist an order of garlic bread despite it. The garlic bread was light and airy, not weighed down in oils or grease, making it a fine compliment.

When the entrees arrived, my partner and I were simply shocked at the portion size. That's Amore is quite generous as the Mac & Cheese dishes were served in what I could describe as porcelain boats. A near endless supply of food. I ordered the Chicken and Spinach Florentine, which tasted quite sweet with their eight cheese blend. My partner went for their signature "Crowd Favorite" - Mac and Cheese with baby garlic shrimp, bacon, and breadcrumbs. She described it as, "The best Mac I've ever eaten." And you could tell, with how it was written on her face. She described hers as a bit more of a salty/sweet combination due to the bacon. We enjoyed it so much, but weren't able to finish the entrees, opting for a doggie bag.

However, that didn't stop us from ordering desert. Everything was made fresh that day and I chose a light banana cream pudding dish, while my partner had a peanut butter cheesecake with oreo crust. It was not a surprise that they were also fantastic.

All in all, That's Amore exceeded our expectations. The menu is full of so many options, we could see ourselves going back several times. The addition of monthly themes such as "Mac and Cheese Month", "Comfort Food Month", are just the cherries on top. If you enjoy food and live in the area, you owe it to yourself to try them at least once. You may get hooked just as I did.

I am so happy that we couldn’t get a reservation at the first restaurant we tried in Collingswood. That’s Amore was fantastic, from the service to the awesome food to the cute décor, to the fact that it’s byob. But the most important thing: that wonderful food. I am not usually a fan of red sauce. But when I tasted the Sunday gravy they served us with bread, I was immediately hooked. It is so fresh and delicious. You can actually taste the fresh tomatoes in it. My husband laughed at me because I didn’t want to eat any more bread so I just scooped some up on a spoon to eat it. Next, on the advice of our lovely hostess, we tried fried rice balls. Not something I would ordinarily order, but once again delicious, with more of that Sunday gravy. For entrees, my husband ordered, you guessed it, the Sunday gravy, served in a huge bowl with pork, sausage and meatballs. He was a happy man! He loved all the meat, and said the meatballs were perfect. I had one of their specials, salmon with a coconut mango glaze, served over shrimp and apricot risotto. I am always nervous about ordering salmon because I like it really rare. The hostess said they usually cook it to medium but she would tell the chef I wanted it rare. It came out perfect, and the chef sent her out to check with me and make sure it was cooked the way I wanted it. I ate in very small bites because I wanted it to last forever. I would never have thought to combine those flavors and I don’t really like apricots but I ate every last bite of the salmon and the risotto, it was so good. I told my husband it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, and we have eaten our way through Italy and France.
The meal came to about $50.00 for the 2 of us, not bad considering my husband took half his dinner home and ate it again the next night. I can’t wait to go back here and bring friends.

My fiancé and I love this place!! We went recently and ordered the rice ball appetizers as a starter. They are unbelievable; we ate them all! For our entrees my fiancée ordered the Rib Steak Lasagna, as it was lasagna week there, and had the penne with vodka sauce. Both entrees were so large that we took half of them home for the next night.

One thing that makes this place stand apart form the other restaurants in Collingswood is the staff. Each person, including the owner, makes you feel like you are a friend coming for dinner. They check on your table often and they make sure your meal is perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Food was delicious! We ordered off the "Stuffed Pasta Month Menu" I ordered Veal and Beef Tortellacci in a Pancetta, Fig, and leeks cream sauce and my friend had Lobster Ravioli. We didn't order apps because we wanted to save room for dessert. They have a Limoncello Mascarpone Cake which is the perfect balance of sweet and tart. In addition the service was warm and welcoming. Christina was over server and she steered us in the right direction. That's Amore is a must! You won't be unhappy!!!

My wife and I have been coming here for almost 2 yrs. We love the atmosphere and the amazing food. Alfredo and his staff always make our dining experience top notch. Our favorite appetizer is there calamari caesar salad. I usually get chicken parm or chicken florentine, both are prepared perfectly and you will never leave hungry. Also make sure to stop in during restaurant week!!

First time at this neighborhood gem and it was DELICIOUS!! Started with the rice balls which were the best I have ever tasted. I had a homemade pasta dish which was fabulous and my husband had a spaghetti dish with sauce that he describes as "out of this world"! This is certainly our new favorite restaurant and cannot wait to return!

Excellent location, food, service, and atmosphere. Penne with Vodka, rice balls, salmon over risotto, gnocchi, tilapia, Mac & Cheese and who could forget the Sunday Gravy! I recently through my wife a Surprise 30th Birthday party and Alfredo and staff were all very accommodating. I had approximately 30 guests and everyone is STILL RAVING about the food and good times they had! Did I mention this was a BYOB?!?! Our favorite restaurant, hands down! Thank you That’s Amore!

Our visit to That's Amore happened quite accidentally however it instantly became one of our top "go-to" restaurants. My husband and I had a Groupon and reservations (or so we thought) across the street at Kitchen Consigliere with another couple for 7PM on Saturday night. We arrived first and when they weren't finding our reservations I started getting a strange feeling. Long story short, we had a communication gaff with our dear friends and both ended up at different restaurants in different towns. Oh well...we figured we'd stay there and eat...except they were too booked to seat us within a couple hours. We left and looking around Haddon Ave., we saw the "Mac and Cheese Month" sign in the window of a small place on the corner called That's Amore. With my husband being a Mac & Cheese connoisseur, the decision was made. The only problem...they were packed without a table in sight and we had no reservation. We peeked our head in the front door where the reservation station was manned by 2 friendly looking souls,,,one of whom we later learned was the Owner. I said the the other person "We'd need reservations to get in...right?". She smiled and said wait a minute while she looked around the room. She then welcomed us in and lead us to a table in the back of this small but charming place.
We were presented with 2 menus...one with a huge selection of Italian items I won't even try to spell and the other with at least 10 mac and cheese specials...not sure if that is temporary or if there even is such a thing as Mac and Cheese month but we both ordered from that menu. Mine was the "customer favorite" with baby shrimp, bacon and jalapeños. Hubby got pancetta and peas. Both agreed it was the best we ever had...EVER. We started with an appetizer that I will also not attempt to remember its name...suffice it to say they were fried rice balls with one of the best marinara sauces ever. The meal was fantastic and my husband was already planning what he'd order during our next visit which I am sure will occur before month's end.
Our waitress was awesome and knew about every item on that menu. The gentleman who we later found out was the owner, stopped by our table a couple of times to greet us and then check that everything was to our liking. Needless to say...it was.
I can't recommend this place enough and can't believe had we never had the mix up with our friends and ended up at the wrong place, we may never had discovered this GEM.
Next trip...hubby must try their Eggplant Parm and I must try their Caesar Salad with Calamari. Can't wait...

I love the service here. They are very warm and welcoming, as well as attentive! The food also is delicious, my favorite being the chicken marsala. I love Chicken Marsala, and I can just have about 5 servings of it here! I would recommend it to anyone who asked me where to get a delicious Italian meal!

My son and I had a wonderful dinner. We both agree the red gravy was the best we ever ate... heavenly. The service was excellent. Our appetizers and entrées were perfect. We will definitely go again and take the rest of our family.

This is my husband and mine FAVORITE restaurant! We love the food and the atmosphere. It is a great hole in the wall restaurant that makes you feel like you are part of the family. You MUST get the rice balls(Arancini di Riso)! They are so delicious. Also, this restaurant introduced me to one of my all time favorite dishes, chicken francese. That's Amore is also a BYOB so you can bring a few bottles of wine and lots of friends and have a great experience. If you need a place for a special occasion like celebrating a new job or a birthday this is the place to go! They will not disapoint!!

Alfredo was absolutely wonderful at accommodating our group of 6 for a special birthday dinner celebration with their Chef's Table menu ... even with a request of some gluten-free items for one person in our party ... which included GF crackers and risotto in lieu of the bread and pasta. Family-style portions were plenty to go around and came out very quickly esp. in the beginning ... but were still very well-timed. Only the 2 main entrees came out moderately slower and were a bit on the smaller side. Although, I believe we could have requested more ... if we had requested. The wait staff was also very attentive for the majority of our dinner ... but did become less available as the tables filled up. We even had to ask for a couple of items multiple times before they were eventually brought out to us. Overall ... it was a delicious dinner ... and we will definitely return again!!

Great food, amazing atmosphere. This is literally the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to, and probably my favorite restaurant in the South Jersey / Philadelphia area. If you get the chance you need to check it out. Prices are around 15 per person and up, but the portion sizes are more than enough to justify the cost, I'm a pretty big guy and I get two meals out of it.

Thats Amore is a wonderful hidden gem in Collingswood. The atmosphere is as nice as a Sunday family dinner. You must go hungry because you cannot leave without rice balls and a caesar salad in addition to your meal; nor should you pass up the excellent array of desert choices. The service is immpecable and they are very accomodating to all requests. Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere, BYOB, outstanding service, nothing else required for a great meal out.

The food and service was amazing. The rice balls, calamari salad and the Sunday Gravy are top notch. The atmosphere is very cozy and the wait staff makes everyone feel right at home. I would suggest this place to friends and go back in a heartbeat.
