Driftaway Cafe

My absolute FAVORITE breakfast & coffee spot (though their tomato mozz basil panini is fabulous) I have been regularly coming here for over 2 years & they have never missed. All of their lattes are great and their breakfast sandwiches have to be the best in SJ. Such a cute environment- they have a giant wrap around porch with outdoor seating that they cover during the Fall & Winter so it’s all weather. They have the kindest & most caring employees. I recommend Driftaway to anyone who asks!

Iced Coffee gives big chain companies a run for their money.
Def going back to try their lattes people rave about.

First time visiting and the staff was so nice. I tried an iced vanilla chai tea latte. I didn't realize they add sugar and vanilla, so it was too sweet for my liking since i don't typically consume any sugar. It may have mentioned that in the description on the menu, but I didn't see it when ordering. I didn't order any food, but they had lots of options that all smelled so tasty.

Staff was all very kind and gave Sawyer lots of pets and compliments. The environment is peaceful, and there's lots of different types of seating options which is nice. Being your furry friend and a good book and you'll be set for a perfect afternoon of reading in a cozy place. Can't wait to go back!

Note: You order at the window, and seating is outdoors. One recommendation I'd have for the café is to let guests know where / how to pick up their drink. Maybe an "order here" and "pickup here" sign on the window? Like many, I have pretty bad anxiety when going places for the first time, so some form of direction is always helpful for people like me. I'm hard of hearing and can't always rely on hearing names be called out, so knowing where to stand would be helpful :) Just an idea to help make it more "first time guest" friendly!

Recently visited the creme puffery next door and the ladies that worked inside raved of the cafe. Decided to swing in today, a Tuesday morning, to grab breakfast with my husband and couldn’t be more pleased. The cafe has the cutest patio, and upon arriving, the staff (most especially the young lady who was working the register) were super welcoming ! Even with as busy as they were, they took our order and had it ready in minutes ! It was only $29 for two croissant sandwiches (the butteriest/tastiest croissant sandwich I’ve had in a very long time), a chocolate croissant, hashbrowns( crispy as heck- just perfect), an earl gray tea and a strawberry açaí refresher (with lemonade base). 10/10 suggest trying the refresher! Can’t wait for warmer weather to enjoy more mornings on the patio!

The food is extremely good quality. It tastes like homemade, and the prices are really low! The coffee is better than Starbucks without the Starbucks pricing.
PLUS the vibes are so cozy and cute. ☕

Umm delicious. Only my first time here, but in love. I got the whole wheat bagel with egg and cheese and my husband got an everything with egg, cheese, and bacon. The bagels aren't overpowering with all the doughyness that usually comes with a bagel, so you taste the egg, cheese etc. And they have croissants! I moved here over a year ago and haven't been able to find a good bakery or a good bakery that sells croissants. Their Cafe au lait was perfect. It was a quick drive home and everything was still piping hot! Great wrapping and packaging of our bagels.

Customer Service is great, no matter who works at the counter.
The drinks and food is so fresh and good.
My go to is the bacon egg and cheese on rye bread with mayo. W/ a drink on the side.

I recently moved into the area and this was the first place we ordered from during the moving process. The food and drinks are consistently good, everything fresh and filling. Staff are friendly and never a long wait for your order

So glad my gf told me about this place the coffee and food is DELICIOUS and the location is perfect. I'm obsessed with the fact it's inside like an old farmhouse so we get to have breakfast on the wrap around porch and chat. This literally is my favorite spot in Lindenwold. Everything here is 10 out of 10 only complaint I have if I had to give one is how long it takes to get your food after ordering I get it the place is popular just order ahead if you can.

My fiancé randomly looked up this cafe on Door Dash and had me try the coffee and it was amazing. Been coming back the next few times and has not disappointed. Charlie is a great guy, really pleasant, and helpful. I like the iced cinnamon roll coffee as well as the croissant with egg & cheese!

Such a cute place! Big porch with rocking chairs or tables to sit at. Lavender latte is always great! And the staff is very friendly

Amazing breakfast place that is so cozy. Got the pork roll egg and cheese on a bagel and it might be my favorite breakfast sandwich ever. Service was amazing and welcoming. Will definitely return!!

I come here all the time for coffee! They have the most absolute sweetest workers and their food and coffee is the best i’ve ever had. They are a little long drive from me and I make that drive because it’s so amazing!! 10/10 recommend

I swore I left a review but maybe I just daydream about this place. I live around the corner and order from here at LEAST twice a week through doordash. Ive gotten so many friends obsessed and we make it a point to try a different latte every time, which now is almost impossible for me to do since I have ordered from here countless times now.

I wanted to bring attention to the staff though!!! Since I order so much I have had a couple "issues" occur like something out of stock, or what I ordered wasn't in season and they weren't sure why it was still available on DoorDash. Both times an incredibly kind employee called me personally, offered me multiple options as replacements or fantastic suggestions that I trusted in and was happy with every time. Ans they seemed genuinely happy to help me find what I'd like for my morning.

Just wanted to give credit where it was do. Its so nice to see a business like this thrive on good customer service, genuine care for their craft, and its clear they love what they so and what they create. I'm a forever customer for as long as I live here!

PS. My favorite things ever are the butter beer (iced) latte, and anything on a croissant from this place is pure heaven in a flakey crust. Try them out you wont be disappointed.

Asked for a recommendation from their seasonal drinks and they didn't steer me wrong! Great coffee, friendly folks. New favorite of mine.

Wow. I can't believe I've lived nearby for so long and just now discovered this adorable cafe! The French Lavender latte (hot) and Berry Yummy coffee (iced) were both delicious. The toasted croissant was yummy too. The service was exceptional, everyone was so kind and helpful. We really loved the outdoor patio seating. I can't wait to come back!!

Great customer service here, I'm already sold by warm welcome of the cashier, Charlie!! I've had a breakfast sandwich from here but never been to the store. I'll be back for sure!
