I love my job

As unbelievable as this experience sounds, unfortunately it is true to every detail. Bought a recliner in February 2018 from Bob Wilson. It was delivered with the left arm completely broken and detached from the chair. We reordered a new chair toward the end of February and we still have not received it. It is now almost August. Here are the excuses we were given: 1.) After 12 weeks, material was back ordered. 2.) Material came in, but only half of it was ordered. 3.) All material came in, chair was made, but the wrong pattern. 4.) All material came in, correct pattern, but the rockers were broken. 5.) Rockers were fixed, but the store was closed because Bob was stuck in Hershey Park for the weekend so it could not be delivered. 6.) Bob came home from Hershey, but Mr. Harvey was not available because he was at a college reunion (mind you he is about 80 years old). Also, the store was said to be closed. 7.) Chair was ready for delivery, but the two delivery guys quit because they didn’t get a raise. 8.) We (my family) left to go pick up the chair today, as we were told to. Bob called out sick. And we were told that a new chair was NEVER ordered, made, let alone ready to be delivered. Oh and just to add to that, the two delivery guys walked in the store as we were there because they never quit. This company is nothing but BS seeking every way out of any situation.

Although I like their furniture and have purchased several pieces, I have become disillusioned with their customer service. I don’t believe the problem is with the sales person. A large, expensive sofa we ordered was problematic when it came to delivery. I believe they promised delivery three different times and failed to get the sofa to us. Many different excuses. Now we are waiting for a recliner. There have been 7 missed deliveries. There were A LOT of excuses. Bad weather, failure of office to pay shipping costs, sent the wrong chair. It went on and on. We were told we would have it 2 days ago. Haven’t heard a word. We are DONE. Originally planned to spend about $20,000 more at Charles Harvey. Not happening.

worst customer service I have ever experienced. Purchased an expensive sofa that had defective fabric and I called repeatedly and was promised by the owner he would order a replacement. He never placed the order and never returned my calls.

Finally closed about 15 yrs after it should have. If they had a good name they sure squandered it
