Sattler's H O Trains & Hobbies

I lived on Atlantic ave 60-70’s That store was awesome They also allowed us kids to play the road race sets or watch a train they were working on. Stopped in to say hello in 2021 we had a great chat. lovely store. great business.

Sattler's probably has the largest selection of N Scale locomotives and rolling stock in the Philly Metro Area...definitely the largest in South Jersey. Atlas, Rapido, BLI, Athern, Kato. The prices and customer service are outstanding. The only drawback (if you would call it that) is the lack of an online presence...however, Sattler's carries a modern, updated stock, and if it's out online...it's often in Stock at Sattler's. If you're into model trains, you MUST stop in at Sattler's.

They have more then just H.o scale trains! Big selection of N scale as well. Owner is soooo friendly an helpful. Lots of books, paints, model buildings, parts/ pieces you would need for your train models big or small ! Definitely stop in here when theyre open and check it out make sure you bring your model friends with you!

Lovely store, excellent selection of HO gauge locos and accessories.

I spoke to Bruce a couple of weeks ago. I told him that I'd be down in his area in a couple of days, but wasn't able to do so due to some personal stuff I had to take care of. Anyway Bruce and I had a GREAT conversation about me getting back into the model train hobby again. I was able to tell how devoted he was to anyone interested in trains. It was very refreshing to talk to someone with the enthusiasm that he has about trains. I'm still hoping to get down to his store real soon! I promise!!

I loved going here. It is very welcoming, a giant stock, and a great place with trains. Staff is extremely nice, very helpful, and kind. I recently bought a train set with some extra tracks, and they will fit right into our family. This place definitely deserves a five star rating.

A small shop packed with quality models. Prices are more than fair. Customer service is excellent, very nice and helpful. I will be going back again soon. Highly recommended. Support your brick and mortar retailers.

This is it. The old school, hometown hobby shop. You don't just come here to buy trains, you come here to listen to stories, talk about trains, get advice about the hobby. The whole place is stocked well, I mean extremely well. They have all kinds of roadnames, if they don't have what you want, you can order it. Customer service is excellent. If your interested in anything and all thing trains this is the place to go. They only thing they don't have is alot of larger gauges like O-scale or G. Thats not a bad thing just a preference. Over all wonderful experience, I hope to come back soon.

Good selection of both HO & N scale trains and structures. Plus, Bruce, the owner of the shop is old school - a hobby shop experience like it's supposed to be.

One of the few, local hobby stores that is still in business. They stock a good selection of HO & N Scale equipment, as well as the current railroad related publications. A bit pricey, but unfortunately that is the name of the game nowadays for hobby stores. The owner and his wife are more than friendly and always good for a chat!
If you're into the hobby of model railroading and have never been, definitely pay Sattler's a visit!

A very good selection of Walther's HO train cars. Owner is always very friendly, and a lot of times gives you discounts. Probably the best in south Jersey, not too much in stock on the scenic side but they have everything locomotive and train car wise.

Best in the area. Must visit whenever near Westmont.

Just how hobby stores used to be. Very personal. Good amount of stock. I felt I was in a time warp with great service from the past. The man I spoke with, an elderly gentleman, is very passionate about his store and stock.
