It's been a long time since I've been to Sapori and definitely regretting not coming back sooner. The food was outstanding, from the bread and olive oil, to the fresh calamari, main, and dessert. Everything was great in terms of service and the waiter was attentive and charismatic. Heated patio was excellent and everything was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back soon.

Very much enjoyed the price fixed four course meal (appetizer, pasta, main, desert) including anything on the menu. Very pleasant outside seating available. Great food, great service, reasonable prices. Definitely a repeat. BYOB

Oh man. This place undid my taste buds and then reassembled them in Italian bliss. The servers were very personable and seemed to be on a first-name basis with several other folks who I assume are regulars. The courses were out of this world and the ambiance was warm and inviting. It felt like a truer manifestation of Olive Garden’s motto (“When you’re here, you’re family). Certainly more expensive than our usual fare, but worth every penny for special occasions.

Highly recommend if you want your taste bud to be awaken by the taste of authentic Italian Food. Food is incredibly fresh and tasteful. Our server also have the Italian Accent to top things off. We made reservations through Resy to celebrate Mother’s Day. My wife was more then grateful that we discover this gem in Collingwood NJ. The sparking water and soda is also from Italy. Don’t forget to bring a body of wine for your reservation. This restaurant is BYOB. We’ll definitely be back and skip Franchise Restaurant.

Atmosphere was very nice, waiter very friendly, and the food was excellent! The inside of the restaurant made me feel that I was in the Italian country side. This place is excellent for adults celebrating milestones but not the greatest for young children.

We were in the area visiting my sister's new apartment, and meeting friends who were passing through. The drive to Sapori was easy, and the neighborhood interesting and quaint, both commercially and the residential side streets.

Jersey has lots of BYOB restaurants, and we find them generally superior, as the focus is on delivering an outstanding culinary experience, not selling overpriced drinks. We shared some appetizers, including carpaccio, mussels, and calamari, then had individual entrees. We were stuffed, but the tiramisu sounded too good to pass up, so we got a piece and 4 forks. Satiated!

I’m sorry to say it’s taken my 10+ years and multiple meals here to write this review. But know I have done my due diligence… Sapori is a place you can go to on any give night and guarantee an extraordinary meal!

Hands down THE best Italian in NJ. If you have not tried this restaurant and you live close enough to frequent it… the your doing yourself a disservice. Get here asap. Absolutely amazing 🫶🏻

I can personally say this was one of the best places for authentic and freshly made Italian food. Firstly everyone from the hostess to the wait staff was great. Our server Bryan, 2 thumbs up and 5 stars for the excellent service. My hats off to the chef. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Chef Franco and his staff made for a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the homemade fettuccine was outstanding. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Can't wait to go back!

Service was excellent. The atmosphere is rustic Italian with a romantic feel, it felt very cozy, without being overcrowded. The food was amazing! It seems like the chef/owner really puts his heart and soul into the cooking.

Really enjoyed my food. I did the prefixed option that they offer on the week days, which was $60 for 1 appetizer, 1 pasta option, 1 entree, 1 dessert and a coffee. Totally worth it, in my opinion! Started off with the CARPACCIO DI CARNE, which was amazing! Then moved onto the FETTUCCINE AI PORCINI for my pasta. I love anything with mushrooms, so if you like mushrooms, you would enjoy this! My entree was CACCIUCCO DI PESCE, it was just the right portion and flavor. And finally I ended with a cappuccino and the CREME BRÛLÉE, which was a little too sweet in my opinion, but still delicious. Needless to say, I left no crumbs, which is pretty unusual for me when having a 4 course meal. I really enjoyed everything and the portions were perfect for me!

I was recommended this place by a friend. DELICIOUS. Cozy/romantic environment with dim lighting. Super friendly waiter. Great service. Next time I’ll try a dessert but I was so full bc I ate every bite of my casarecce and calamari. $85 for 2 meals and an appetizers and it was worth it. BYOB.

I came here recently with my hunny for our anniversary. Now we all know collingswood has so many Italian restaurants that its become a meme at this point, ranging from bad pizza to good pizza to casual to pretentious. This one is none of those - and its the best one I've tried so far.

First, we had a reservation and were seated right away. More than can be said of a lot of places around here. It was a humid evening but the patio was lovely. Our server was efficient and generous with the bread. Never once left us empty handed

The food was incredible. To start out the calamari was some of the best i've ever had. That was followed by veal in a lemon butter sauce. the veal was tender and juicy, and the sauce was perfect. Zesty. I would have drank a glass of it. The mrs had the gnocci in a veal/pork/beef ragu which she was blown away by. We finished off the evening with gelato and cheesecake.
Overall, an excellent experience and the perfect ending of our first year of many ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great experience all around. I was there with a group of eight, including two children (who both had pasta with red sauce for dinner, though plain w/ or w/o butter were also available). Delicious, flavorful foods. The fresh pasta makes a big difference. Fantastic desserts.

BYOB tip: Bring that extra bottle

Outstanding meal! Had a busy day of errands and shopping in Philly and needed a good meal. Decided to check out Collingwood on the way home. Sapori was just what we were looking for. Just remember Collingwood is a dry town so bring some wine with you (next time).

I have lived in Collingswood my whole life and I cannot believe how long it took me to come here. OMG. I would come back just for the creme brulé. Its the best I've had outside of New Orleans. The food was not the Italian that I'm used to. I carefully researched the menu and all of the pictures before I went. My dad and I shared the veal platter and the special of the day which was rabbit. It was my first time eating rabbit and it was delicious. I didn't like how many bones there were but that's not the restaurants fault. I also felt like their appitzer portions were too small. Delicious but tiny. I would come back here for sure!

I came here a few weeks ago and forgot to update. This place is still just as amazing as the first time. Im obsessed. We tried the beef carpaccio and it was out of this world.

Edit 01/03/22

Once again Sapori has out done themselves. My dad wanted to take us to a nice dinner so I chose here. They started with the bread. They no longer have that pate but oil instead. I much prefer the oil. Then we tried the two appetizers on the specials menu. Pork belt and the ox tail. I was expecting to like the pork belly better but the ox tail blew me away. My dad got the pork chop special. My gram got the Maiale Alle Mele. I got the Scallopine di Vitello. My brother got the tortellini and my other brother just had spaghetti with meat sauce. Everything was amazing. The tortellini wound up being everyone's favorite surprisingly. We all had a cappuccino. We each got our own dessert. For chocolate souffles and one pistachio Panna cotta. The pistachio kind of looked like a flan consistency but the texture was different than flan and everything was delicious than anything. We only come here once awhile because it's a price but we are never disappointed. I love this restaurant.

This place is a gem!! My husband and I had a wonderful meal here last night. The food was phenomenal and service was outstanding. We will definitely be back. My only regret was that I finished all of my food at the restaurant, so I had no leftovers to enjoy today!
