Big Woods Pizza

We went on a Thursday and the special was buy one large pizza get a large cheese for free. I asked our server to help me choose between 2 pizzas and he offered to do the pizza half and half. We did half Primal (meat lovers) and half gyro . I love to try different pizzas and the gyro was my choice. My husband was not sold on the idea but by the end I think we both wished we had done the whole pizza as a gyro. I think they these were probably the best pizzas we had gotten out in a long time. I would have happily ate it for lunch the next day. Atmosphere was great, too cold for the outdoor seating but I think it would be enjoyable also. All said and done, by the time we finished, my husband was discussing where we would open a Big Woods pizza in our hometown if we could.

Had dinner on Labor Day and it was fantastic. The food was fresh and delicious. Our server, Jack, was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable!! Drinks were delicious and the place was well kept and clean!! Will be back !

So, the pizza was really really good: pillowy soft crust but crispy bottom and gooey cheese. We got the gatherer one and even then ten inch was a good size that you could possibly split with some other foods.
The other things we had: the chicken panini which we didn’t realize was more of a tiny grilled cheese had only 2-3 cubes of chicken so we asked about it and they gave us some more chicken cubes warmed up on the side. The side salad was pretty good - I liked the Greek dressing and croutons. They had a key lime pie as a special and I was super excited to try it but it was honestly a bit of a letdown. It was very small and fluffy and seemed like it was the kind you would get at Sam’s club. It had a big scoop of ice cream alongside which seemed sort of a strange pairing and it was a very basic vanilla and light (whipped-like the kind you get in a big can) not rich or thick like most restaurant desserts are served with. So imo the sandwich ($13) and dessert ($11) were very overpriced. If we were to go here again we would definitely stick to the pizza, which was awesome.

Had the most wonderful experience thanks to our server Blake B!! During our early conversations, my boyfriend and I had mentioned our love for hot honey on our pizza. Unfortunately, they didn’t have this at Big Woods. But that didn’t stop our server from making us some from SCRATCH! It was delicious. Thanks Blake for such an awesome dinner. The hot honey made our night! :)

The only downside was an hour wait, but we expected that with how busy it was. Once we sat down, the service was great and food delicious. We got the steak pizza, cheese bread, skillet cookie, and drinks.

The Smokehouse Pizza is so good. It is my go to pizza at Big Woods. Paired in with a Quaff On Six Foot Cinnamon Blonde beer. Service was quick and server was attentive and friendly. I recommend going at an off time so it is not crowded and noisy. We went around 3:45 pm and it was a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

I love eating here. Pizza is always great I recommend the smokehouse. They have upstairs downstairs outside seating and the staff was bringing their A-game which is always a plus. My kids really loved their pizzas which were sized appropriately and came with fresh fruit as a side. Drink selection is good if that is your thing, they sell several different varieties of QuaffOn that you may not be able to find easily elsewhere.

Super cute little pizza place. We were sat and served fast, the atmosphere is super cute and rustic. They have a nice variety of pizzas and they even let you get half and half so you can try different types. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Love this place! Pizza was delicious and so were the mixed drinks. I got some Toasted Coconut Rum and Toasted Coconut Rum Cream that they make and sell in house and let me tell you it's the best I've ever had! Service was amazing and so was the atmosphere. First time coming to Brown County Indiana and I will definitely be coming back soon.

Everything was delicious. Will definitely be going back for pizza and the bbq pulled pork ❤. I forgot her name but our waitress was amazing. Excellent service.

Talk about delicious, this place is damn good haha. The beer selections were varied and flavorful, it ran the spectrum of IPA's and ales, plus stouts. All very tasty and full bodied. We also enjoyed the pizza and nachos, super delicious. If you ever go to this small town of Nashville, Indiana, you stop by at Big Woods Pizza and Quaff On Brewery. Highly recommend. 👍🤙😉🍕🍺🍻

We LOVE this place! Love. Service was great! They have gluten free crust, the topping options are just incredible. Drinks are fab, I mean fab! I love their giant jengas you can play while you eat... kid friendly with inside and outside seating. They serve coke zero, so that makes me super happy!

A wonderful spot for lunch! A cute little shop with great pizza drinks and even for some light shopping. Would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely city and this pizza shop. The appetizer nachos was also really delicious just a great spice level! I also enjoyed the drink, great and refreshing with the pizza! When I’m in brown county, this place is a must.

We were greeted and seated quickly. Got drinks and food ordered in a timely manner and very helpful staff. Forager and Hawaiian pizzas were killer. Definitely will return when back in town.

We came to Big Woods after a little restaurant up the street called “Our Sandwich Place” rudely refused to serve us due to our large party even though the place was empty. So glad we came here instead. This place has good food, good alcoholic drinks, and the atmosphere is fun! Five stars

Updating to 5 stars! Buffalo chicken pizza was built just for our group, thanks to Mikayla and the kitchen staff. Saturday nights can be busy but the service was fast, friendly, and accommodating. Ordered 3 large pizzas and nachos. Pizza came out before the nachos which was odd, but whatever. Everything was great. Will be back soon!

(June 2022) Our group goes here for the buffalo chicken pizza. Went on a Sunday night (8:15PM) in July with a group of 5. Service was ok. Ordered a round of beers for the table. Went to order 4 16" pizzas, 3 of which were to be buffalo chicken (this is the favorite pizza of the group). We were told that pizza is not available anymore. After some back and forth banter to cover up our true disappointment, the server held firm that the 3 buffalo chicken pizzas could NOT be made. We reluctantly ordered alternative pizzas. Last call was announced at 9:00 shortly after receiving our first round.
Between our party of 5, we ate 3 of the 4 pizzas and took the one to go. A separate server came out and asked how everything was. We told her we were disappointed that we could not get our buffalo chicken pizza like we had in the past. This separate server said they could have made them for us if we had asked. We were speechless. We will probably try to go one more time to order a buffalo chicken pizza. If we can't get it next time, I'm not sure when we will be back.

As everybody says the pork nachos were very good. Would've been perfect with some more meat but very good. We also enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza which was also excellent. The thin crust was the way to go for us. My wife will attest that the margaritas were very well made. The beer selection can't be beat and enjoying a flight is a good way to go.

I've been here many times, I remember getting pizza at the original. Good food and service has always been good. It's a pizza place, but don't overlook the pulled pork nachos....best on the planet....wait may be a little long but they will text you when your table is ready.

Fantastic service! Our server Jake was fast, courteous, polite and made sure we were ok. Definitely recommend. Pulled pork tacos were amazing! Drinks were delicious!

First visit and loved the pizza. We got thw smokehouse and was by far one of our best pizzas to date. Also did some bourbon and vodka tasting. Great service and great food. We will be back soon!!
